I had such a great time at this drag brunch in Miami and it did end up being one of the highlights of the trip! I really loved that they incorporated their show outdoors and event got pedestrians and motorists on the street to participate. Not to mention entrance to the rooftop pool after the show, which was a pleasant surprise. The show itself was entertaining and the food was decent. The reason I cannot give it 5 stars though, is because I only saw 50% of the show, and that might be generous. The energy here is on 10 from the time you touch the street. You can hear the roar from the crowd from a block away. People stop to watch the happenings even if they don't come to stay. You get to choose any item from the menu included in your price and there was something for every taste bud. So this was an experience. First timer to this spot. A friend of ours wanted to celebrate her bday here and put in a reservation weeks ahead of time. So for the most part the show was entertaining. From comedic to extravagant performances. No one missed a beat. You can tell they put work in their routines and it shows in many ways. People were also lined up outside and enjoying every bit as well. The bottomless mimosas were pretty awesome. They made sure our glasses weren't sitting low or empty. My only complaint was the food. Not that it was bad or anything but when we got our meals it was towards the end and it wasn't too warm. It was a bit cold. Flavor wise it was great. Not much salt or pepper to the steak, but the chimichurri helped. The steak and eggs were cooked pretty perfect. Medium as asked. Potatoes could use a little seasoning. Palace Bar was such a fun stop for our bachelorette night after dinner. We went on a Saturday and the place was popping -- we snagged the last table available, which already felt like a win. The music was on point, the drag queens absolutely crushed it with their performances, and the energy in the room was unreal. I was warned NOT TO COME to this place for many reasons--overpriced drinks, nasty attitudes, and subpar food. I've got to say, I should have listened and stayed far away. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and decided to stop in for a snack and some drinks. When we arrived, what looked like a hostess just stared at us with dead eyes before going right back to her phone. We made our way to the bar and had to flag down the "bartender," who simply nodded for us to sit. I'm not sure if it was a language barrier or just a lack of interest, but when we asked about the menu and drink specials, Andrés (the "bartender") only pointed at a QR code, muttered "menu," and walked back to the corner to continue chatting with his coworker. We flagged him down again to order an appetizer. Then I asked--again--about the drink specials. Once more, he just pointed at the QR code. So I asked, "Can you tell me the drink specials?" He responded with the nastiest attitude: "YOU need to read the menu!" and walked away yet again. We ended up leaving right as the show started--the bar was completely empty, and now we know why. We were seated off to the side, completely out of view of the show -- which is one of the main reasons people come here. Service was frustratingly slow: over the course of 2+ hours, our glasses were only refilled five times, and that was after repeatedly flagging someone down. If you're vegetarian, don't expect much from the brunch menu -- unless you eat eggs, your only option is an açaí bowl. For the price they charge, it's disappointing that the food, experience, and hospitality don't even come close to what places like R House in Wynwood deliver. My husband and I have seen The Palace on social media and put it on our bucket list if we were ever in Miami. Yesterday (Jan 3, 2026) we got to check it off and it was way beyond our expectations! Every staff maker made you feel welcome. Our waiter, Diego, was amazing and kept our bottomless mimosas filled through the entire brunch/show. And that show!!! Those ladies are true artists! I ordered a mojito, nothing fancy and assuming they use well rum unless otherwise specified. Bartender made the drink, then asked if I had cash it would be $24. I said I had $22 and he said "okay".
