My son in law bought me a sandwich while my wife was in the hospital and I didn't get a chance to eat until later that night and was amazed by the flavors, I had to open and investigate what was in the wrap. I hate to leave bad reviews. Although I have never set foot in Palace, my girlfriend and I are under the weather today and opted to order food in. Having never tried them we decided it would be a good time. Order was a large hamburger mushroom fresh mozzarella pizza. A large cheeseburger and mozzarella sticks. The sticks were well done. Great flavor and not overcooked. The cheeseburger had no flavor. The meat was absolutely flavorless. The pizza was the same. My best guess is canned sauce, frozen dough. I don't believe I have ever had a pizza with so little flavor. Perhaps it's a preference thing, but I have eaten many pizzas all over the country. I'm sorry to say that I won't return for a 2nd chance on this one. read more

I've been back numerous times and have been challenged to find one as good as the ones from my misspent youth. Well the search has finally ended. Palace Pizza's eggplant parmesan grinders are as good as they get. The breading of the eggplant is perfectly fried and crispy, the quantity of eggplant is substantial, the tomato sauce is delectable, the cheese is wonderful, and the bread is soft and delicious. This place rocks. My friends and I walked in spontaneously and were clueless about what to order. That's when Will, the employee, graciously led us through the menu. He was insightful as to what a group of four, male, hungry college students would enjoy. One of my friends is from Brooklyn, which qualifies him as a pizza reviewer, and approved that pizza. My friend's phone was on low battery and was given a plug to charge his phone. The mega palace special delivered and the cannolis were delicious. We are here from Phoenix, AZ staying in Auburn, MA. The house we're staying at says "good pizza" on a little info card so we tried it. Yummy! The "joint" is everything you'd expect from a big old house in a small town with a pizza restaurant in it. They served one of the best pepperoni pizza's we've had in years! Good salad if you love iceberg lettuce (and I do) and the cannolis were crunchy and the filling good too. The guys behind the counter are easy to talk to and the way they answer the phone is positively refreshing. Within the 5 minutes wait for my food, i observed the employees washing their hands and changing their gloves every time they touch the register. I have ordered from Palace Pizza many times and I think they have good food. I ordered a pizza, salad and wings today from them today at 11:37 am. The guy on the phone said it may be more than an hour for delivery and I said no problem. Two hours later I called to see if the pizza was on it's way. They confirmed my address and order and informed me it should be there any minute now. 20 mins later I had 3 missed calls from an unknown number in a 3 min time span because I stepped away from my phone. I answered when they called again (1 min later) and it was the delivery driver who needed my address. I gave it to him again and he showed up 5 minutes later and was completely disrespectful. Me: is the pizza still hot? Him: what do you want me to do we are short staffed. Me: I was just asking if the pizza was hot because I ordered more than two hours ago (and I was genuinely wondering if the pizza was hot) Him: do you want the pizza or not? Me: I guess not Him: f*%# off! Me: I will be calling your manager Him: good luck he's my brother I did call the pizza place and the guy said sorry but that was it . First time here, was drawn in by the fact that they had gluten free pizza and someone in the group I was buying for had a gluten intolerance. Got two large cheese, two large pepperoni and one gluten free cheese. The store had an assortment of sodas and chips. The staff was super nice and accommodating. They made sure to ask if the gluten free pizza was for someone with an allergy so they could take proper precautions when handling. Both gluten free and regular pizzas were very good. Perfect cheese to sauce to crust ratio. I can't stress enough how great the customer service was, they even offered to help me carry my pizzas as I had many and I was alone. Palace used to be one of my go to pizza places. No longer. Specifically their standout offering was the grilled pizza - super-thin crust, crispy, with copious sauce on top of the cheese as well. Probably my favorite pizza in the entire area. However the grilled pizza on my latest visit was a huge letdown. It was basically just slightly crispier 'Greek style' pizza. It was a bit burnt and was otherwise not memorable. If that wasn't bad enough, the baklava was underwhelming as well. This is the onlyplace I've found that has the stuffed pizza- which I found really cool. It's like a cross between a calzone and a pizza. It definitely gives them an edge if you've looking for something different! My dad and I walked in and it was pretty early in the day- and we only wanted a slice each- and of the stuffed variety. He didn't have any made up and plus we were on a deadline trying to make a movie. Despite that he said it was absolutely not problem to whip up two slice sin ten minutes for us- points for great customer service. In no more than ten minutes we had our slices in front of us! Palace still ranks #1 in the area for pizza. The pizza, sandwiches and other items are always made with fresh and tasty ingredients, all for a fair price. It is several notches up from other local spots. This is Italian style not greek style pizza. The building is not much to look at buy you won't be disappointed with the food. Having checked out the menu ahead of time, I had already picked out what I wanted, and ordered a Palace Sub, roast beef, turkey, bacon, lettuce, onion and tomatoes. Thinking a bit outside the box, I ordered it on garlic bread which the call taker happily agreed to. I arrived about ten minutes after ordering and was happy my sandwich was ready to go. I knew I had made a good choice as soon as I picked up my food off the counter and felt the weight of it. I was not disappointed as it tasted great too. My only disappointment is that the meat was not hot, as that's how its presented on the menu. Nothing fancy inside though there are about a half dozen tables for those wishing to dine in. There is some parking on the side and a lot behind the building. Based on my experience and the other reviews here, I feel the need to stop here in the future to try the pizza. read more

I ordered 2 sandwiches and a side of curly fries. I was told 45 min to an hour..almost an hour and a half later....still no food. I spoke to Will and he apologized and I told him to cancel the order. He told me if the delivery guy showed up to accept the food free of charge. That was almost another 10 minutes ago. Plus I had already spoken with him twice before this. The most delicious pizza. I always seem to get the crispy chicken BBQ Pizza it is phenomenal. I have nothing but rave reviews about the food and the staff. The staff, the most friendliest, helpful, just plain delightful people you'll ever run into in one place! I'm not sure if they deliver to my house, but I will drive to get pizza here! And I live on Grafton Hill where there's a liquor store, Dunkin Donuts, and pizza place on every corner. None of these pizza places hold a candle to Palace Pizza.
