4/2026 When I lived in Las Vegas, you really get the chance to explore the endless options the city has to offer. Over time, you find your favorites--and for us, Palace Station Hotel and Casino has always been at the top of that list. It's centrally located, comfortable, and consistently delivers great service across the board. On this recent trip back "home," I wanted to take a moment to recognize the team members who truly made a difference: Wayne at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful, ensuring my room was close to the elevator following surgery--something I genuinely appreciated with limited mobility. Stephanie from housekeeping was quick to assist with extra towels, tissues, and essentials--small things that make a big impact during recovery. Ty from security went above and beyond. Noticing I had been dropped off near the garage at night, he checked in to see if I needed help and stayed with me until my family arrived. That level of care and awareness meant a lot. Mari in VIP services was warm and helpful as we waited during the early morning hours--never an easy shift, but she made it seamless. Rene at the casino bar provided fast, efficient service without missing a beat. Alkarmir from housekeeping was prompt and helpful in clearing the (very excessive!) trash we left outside our room--no judgment, just great service. Carmen from room service who was extremely pleasant over the phone and provided fast and friendly in person service. And Seline, working the overnight cocktail shift--handling what's often the toughest crowd--with speed and efficiency. It's the people who truly make the experience, and this team is exactly why Station Casinos continues to be a local favorite. Thank you all for making our quick trip back feel easy, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. Always a pleasure coming back.

I'm not sure why their rating is so low. This is my 3rd time staying here and believe me, this is a true hidden gem off the strip! Rooms: Rates are excellent, the rooms are clean, updated and offer the basic amenities. Check-in: Fast, efficient and well organized! Yuliana is amazing and always takes care of checking me in and making me feel very welcome. Food: There's a variety of many good places to choose. Although I wouldn't go back to the Charcoal Room, every other dining experience I've had here has been excellent! From Chinese, Seafood at the Oyster Bar, Brass Fork, Mexican and more! Daily delicious food specials are offered that can't be beat. Bingo Hall: It's a spacious room, the seating is super comfortable and it's easy to purchase and play all day! Cinebarre: The theater is on the 2nd floor, has many cinemas with nicely priced food/meals served at your seats or at tables outside before or after your movie! Slots, Keno & Table play: They offer all the new and old machine favorites along with all the rest.

Booked this direct through hotel website as they were offering 30% off promotion plus a $30 hotel credit. It's more of a 3-star rating for me, but I have to be fair and factor in my husband's opinions. WHAT I DID NOT LIKE: - very strong cigarette smoke smell, even for a non-smoking room. Terribly strong. It was so bad I had to go to Trader Joe's and buy a room freshener spray. Smell probably due to the fact that this hotel is almost 50 yrs old, and smell circulating through hotel A/C system. Kept me up most nights. - super soft bed, sunk into the middle. I hate soft beds. - scratchy sheets, even motels have better sheets. I had to buy a throw from IKEA to insulate my body from the scratchy sheets but the good news is they probably use hot water and bleach them to get them this scratchy. - no fridge, no microwave. Want those? Pay $15 a piece extra. Need coffee? Starbucks downstairs, or go to one of the casino bars and pay $3 for coffee (cheaper). Free coffee if you're gambling. McD's across the street but it's driving distance. WHAT I LIKED: - the people/staff are super nice! Doris, our housekeeper, took good care of us. Front desk was nice, the security guards by the elevators were nice; also felt safer they were there. - FREE parking with spacious indoor garage. Super rare nowdays. Palace could nickel-and-dime, but they offer free parking for their guests, another reason I decided to stay here. Daily parking fees adds up. - clean room and pretty spacious room. Loved the mattress covers on the bed (bed bug check only lasted a few minutes). Individual toiletries felt luxurious. I loved the bar soap. - large personal safe that will fit a laptop. Most places no longer have safes. - clean pillows but too soft for my liking, no body BO smells like I smell sometimes (I stopped using hotel pillows - I use a rolled up towel, at least they wash those). - wasn't too loud, like most hotels. Never heard our neighbors except for an occasional slamming door. I know the room next to ours was occupied because I saw them. - Oyster Bar downstairs open 24/7. Loved that place (except for the wait). Lots of other places to eat, but didn't go to those. Did not try the pool. Did not gamble. Did not eat in any of the restaurants except for Oyster Bar. Did patronize the bar upstairs with the billiards pool table ($5 per play here, but only $1 per play a few blocks down at Area 15 Asylum Bar) CLOSE TO: - Area 15 (walking distance if you don't mind the heat) - Omelet House (go for breakfast!!!) - mostly a 6 to 7 min drive to the following Tiki Bars: Golden Tiki, Frankie's Tiki Bar, Stray Pirate and Red Dwarf (not a real tiki bar IMHO). - only 11 min drive from Harry Reid Airport. TOTAL COST: Approx $441 for 3 nights, with the promo, in a double queen, city view, non-smoking (still smelled bad). Return factor: - only if I can save a significant amount of money, will bring Febreeze next time.

This is a hard review to write because I'm still debating between a 3.5 to a 4 star review. The customer service is great, staff are great, friendly, caring, and the location is super affordable with the $3.99 late night pancakes, $9.99 steak and eggs (player's card needed for the discounts). The hotel is very affordable, I paid less than $300 for a suite in the 15th floor (15003). Nice room, decent decoration, clean, great staff. Got clean sheets and more towels at request. The only down side was the plumbing in the shower. The shower kept getting clogged. Overall, I would definitely stay here but probably be more vocal on the plumbing if it happens again. Great hotel for the price and close to everything.

Old but underrated casino/hotel. My family gets perks here so when they came down to visit, I went and stayed with them here. The first time was two years ago and I barely played anything but I noticed that they still would like to send you free rooms so I bought why not and my family came back. I stayed here again.. It's not on the strip, but it's not far away either. It's just a short Uber ride to the strip. Parking is free which is an added bonus. I have a 24 hour restaurant at theater upstairs and also a Starbucks. Not really any negatives here to say. I develop an unhealthy obsession with a cinnamon roll that is sold at the 24 hour restaurant.. I never used to touch any of their pastries, but when I was looking at them, there was one man that ordered four cinnamon rolls and there was one left so I figured why not and the rest of history. I must've had one every single day on the trip. I also would wait until 11 PM to get the five dollar breakfast special because I'm very cheap lol Anyhoo I would definitely stay here again. It's not fancy but if the price is right or free why not. My goal is to make it to the Oyster Bar but ugh always a line! Whaaa lol. Next time hopefully. ;)

Palace Station off strip nice older casino fully updated looks and feels great. Today another movie at the Regal Cinnabar upstairs full bar with Strat views recliner seats and full service concession at your seat. Just fantastic a must try at least once. Gambling and plenty of restaurants to eat at downstairs and most importantly plenty of FREE parking.

Stayed here for 1 night for business. Same as 20 years ago when I first visited, the Oyster Bar is amazing and worth a visit although wait times can be long. I lined up at 2pm on a Sunday and waited for an hour. The casino itself is decent and has cheaper table games than casinos on the strip. There are a few restaurants, a gift shop, and a Starbucks on the property. The room is on the older side and could use a renovation. As someone else mentioned, the bed is super soft (in a bad way) where you sink into it. The shower took a while for hot water to come out. And the elevators are slow....seemed like only 2 out of 4 were working. I would come visit again for the Oyster Bar but for $185/night I was expecting more.

I can't afford to stay on the strip anymore so I stayed at Palace Station. It was more within my budget. The casino was old, had a smoky smell, and is in need of a renovation. I did not gamble or have time to play the slots. I had a king bed room on the 15th floor. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. It looked to be renovated in recent years. No mini fridge in the room. I had a great time staying in the room for three nights. I would definitely stay here again, if I don't find a good deal on the strip. I did the pre check-in online so the check-in process to get my key-card was quick and easy. There is a security guard standing by the elevators at all times. Since I was staying at Palace Station, I finally got to try the Oyster Bar. I did have to wait over an hour for a spot, at 11pm on a Saturday night. Since it's open 24 hours, I should have just went there for breakfast. The pan roast was really good though! I also ate at the Brass Fork, which was also open 24-hours. The server suggested the breakfast burritos and they were so good. They have late night deals, if you're hungry during the wee morning hours. There is a pool, but I did not have time to check it out. Free parking!

    My Knight!

I was looking for The Knight wine bottle holder. Your wonderful employee Johanna wrote my name and number down so she could call me when another one came in. Months later, she came through!! I was static!! The customer service she gives is impeccable. She is lovely to talk to and very helpful! Kudos to Johanna in the gift shop!! Thank you!! I have an original Knight for the Stanley Cup playoffs and he will bring us luck!! Thank you again. Help like her is hard to find in this town. 50 years, I've seen a lot of Vegas's personalization plummet as the years go by.

Don't knock it till you try it. The more I stay off strip, the more I appreciate these station casinos. If you're looking to party and have a lively atmosphere, the Palace Station probably isn't for you. If you want a nice and quiet stay without the hustle and bustle of the strip, Station properties might be what you're looking for. The palace Station offers low table minimums, Bingo, Regal movie theater, & several restaurants . This Hotel went through a massive renovation and its a well- kept property. Parking is free. The staff is very well trained in each department The casino has a good mix of new and older machines. I had no issues during my stay

Lots of parking, clean rooms. Amazing slots and keno! Staff is unbelievable courteous, welcoming, accommodating. Food is also amazing, different restaurants and a 24 hour diner. Plus I win!!! Love this hotel and casino. Always come here when I vacation, close to everything. See you there peeps!!!

Is it okay to bring a kitten to the hotel? we’ll be staying for 3 days and i don’t want to leave her home by herself and i don’t wanna pay for another pet hotel

Just sneak him/her in and put do not disturb sign on door.

Are there coffeemakers in the hotel rooms?

No coffee machine, fridge or microwave ☹️

    How is the breakfast menus?

They revamped the cafe and breakfast is a lot better. Like a Denny's but a lot better variety and taste

Is this a pet friendly hotel?

Good Evening, Unfortunately we are not a pet friendly hotel.

Are the craps table still $3 minimum?

Was there last saturday. The lowest minimum I saw was $15 at the craps tables

    Is their bufett open now?

Good Morning, Unfortunately our buffet is not open at this time. However, we do have Brass Fork and other great restaurants that you can enjoy on property.

    Do they have a pool?

    YES !!! At all there Hotel's & Casino's I like there Palms && Red Rock & Palace Stations Pools…

This casino advertised the video baccarat minimum bet is $3, but I saw the machine today says that the minimum is $25?

If $3 table mínimums are what you are looking for, perhaps Las Vegas is not your best vacation destination...

Does this casino has electronic video baccarat?

The casino had electronic baccarat but I don't know if it is the one you are looking for.

I'm in a big suite till Sunday, dlo they have in room massage?

The hotel does not but it isn't hard to find.

Is this place worth the cheap price?

Yes I've stayed in both and the tower rooms are definitely better and the oyster bar is probably some of the best food in Las Vegas.

The room accommodations were a major highlight. The bed and pillow combination was the most comfortable I have ever experienced, and I really enjoyed the bathroom, which featured excellent water pressure in both the tub and shower. Dining was also a success--the street tacos, nachos, and ramen were delicious, and our breakfast of muffins, bagels, and coffee was spot on. The staff throughout the resort were amazing, and although the pool was a bit crowded, it was kept very clean. While we had a wonderful time, there were some lapses in room service that need improvement. Unfortunately, our room was not thoroughly cleaned during our stay: the table was not cleared after our room service meal, there was some trash left on the floor, and the bathtub had not been properly scrubbed. Additionally, we had to call for a refill on basic items like napkins. Despite those housekeeping oversights, we had a great time and are already planning our return to this hotel!

First reason this establishment lost a star. Second star was removed because the signage in this Casino is horrendous. There is one arrow for Stadium Swim pointing over to the right side after you've walked in that sends you to heaven. Literally points up to perhaps where the pool might be located, but it is not the path to get there. For anyone trying to get there, walk in and go to the elevator and go to 2. Then you have to take an insanely scary escalator to the top of the building. An employee said it's the tallest escalator in Vegas at 3 stories high. If you are afraid of heights at all, you'll want to request elevator access to the pool instead. The third and fourth star have been removed because my car was taken for a joy ride while I was at stadium swim. I imagine this was because it's a convertible. The man that I handed my keys to asked if I was attending the finale and he must have felt confident he'd have the time for a little fun. My tank was almost completely empty and mileage was increased. I will never park here again.

I'm overly thrilled with my photo, I got exactly what I paid for a fun ride and the perfect shot to frame and remember this day. And yes, I really did frame it and it sits on my piano. As long as you know what you're paying for, it's totally worth it. And now that you've seen my shot and know that it's taken at the end of the ride when you come out from under the bridge, you can get the same shot too. Have fun and enjoy Vegas and the Venetian. Maybe even walk around the quaint streets and have some ice cream after your ride.

For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. I always leave here feeling great!

It has a modest casino with a busy restaurant serving up large sized entrées 24/7. The rack of baby back ribs is impressive and for breakfast you can't beat the plate-sized chicken fried steak and eggs. The hotel accommodations, including swimming pool, are clean and up-to-date. Because of an unfortunate incident, which could have gone badly, it was their Management that stepped up and created a resolution that put smiles on everyone's faces. It is quite refreshing to witness an establishment that goes above expectations and truly cares about its guests! I have no hesitation of highly recommending Ellis Island Hotel and Casino.

Ellis Island had been on my list for a while, so we went for date night. As we entered the casino,…read morea cocktail waitress offered us drinks at the door -- a nice touch. The cocktail was tasty. Inside the restaurant the server greeted us warmly and was very friendly. Large fans keep the dining area cool, and there's a TV visible. I thought there might be outdoor seating, but I didn't see any; the upstairs area was closed for a private event. Our server was excellent and very attentive. We ordered chicken wings and green beans, but the side dish took a long time to arrive. When the food did come, everything was hot and fresh. The chicken wings were especially good -- I recommend the plain, well-done wings; they were spot on. The green beans, however, were disappointing. They arrived later, were soft rather than crisp, and tasted underseasoned -- maybe a little more salt would help. Overall, the place is decent. I would return, but I'm not in a hurry to go back.

The Cosmopolitan stands out as one of the most stylish resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. The property combines modern luxury, exceptional dining, lively nightlife, and spectacular views into one cohesive experience. They have renovated the lobby since we last visited. The Cosmopolitan's design delineates it an upscale. The famous Chandelier Bar serves as the centerpiece of the property, creating a glamorous atmosphere that captures the spirit of the resort. The last time we stayed at The Cosmopolitan we our room was upgraded to a suite, which included a full kitchen and living room. In addition, the room had a wrap-around balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Sweetness! The Cosmopolitan is also a key destination for food lovers. The resort features a collection of restaurants and dining venues, offering everything from casual favorites to world-class culinary experiences such as STK steakhouse. One potential downside is that the resort's vibrant atmosphere can feel busy and a bit loud, particularly on weekends.

Just finished a Tuesday to Thursday stay at the Cosmo, in a city king room, party of 2. Booked…read morethrough Amex Platinum FHR program for $341 (before the $56 nightly resort fee) through the Amex portal to use our $300 credit. Came with all the benefits of the FHR program, including a daily $60 breakfast credit (that could be used at a choice of 7 different shops/restaurants) and a $100 food credit to be used at a HUGE list of MGM restaurants (it's nice because it doesn't even need to be within the Cosmo ). We checked in around 12noon but our room wasn't available until around 3:30pm. Pros: - overall, a very convenient and central location on the strip for everything we wanted to do - used our $100 credit at Best Friend at Park MGM, was a super easy process to just give them our room number at the Cosmo ( you do have to show your ID to do this and it has to be the name on the hotel reservation) - room has a great view of the strip during the day and night - you can watch the bellagio fountain show at night and it's a beautiful aerial view - comfortable clean room, with good bed, firm pillows, good shower pressure. - used our breakfast credit at District Donuts in the food court downstairs, was a nice touch to not have to pay for breakfast - the Cosmo itself is very fun with lots of lounges and restaurants within it - perfect if you don't want to walk outside in the hot summer sun. We had a great time at Ski Lodge for cocktails - overall all the staff we interacted with were super nice and professional - kind of an upscale very young people vibe inside, with the iconic chandeliers etc - I did like that they have kiosks where you can activate your room keys without standing in line again , once your room is ready (app gives you a QR code ) - easy taxi drop off location , convenient - lots of clean nice bathrooms throughout the hotel so you never have to worry about emergencies - the art everywhere is fun and risqué Cons: - whole hotel definitely smells like smoke - which is kind of to be expected on the strip. However I didn't realize how bad it was until we walked through Park MGM and my asthmatic lungs could breathe better lol - the check in process was disappointing. I understand that a room might not be ready at noon - but they said a text would come when the room was ready. We got the preliminary text telling us a text would come soon to confirm our room, but it never came. We happened to luckily check the MGM app randomly while eating elsewhere and saw the room was ready. I feel like people who weren't as on top of checking the app may have spent the whole day thinking the room wasn't ready, boo. - the checkout process was also crappy - we had late checkout at 4pm, and shortly before that we tried checking out at the kiosks in the lobby - but they didn't work for us or the party next to us also trying to check out and get their folio. Overall it seemed like the system wasn't really up to speed? Also saw other people at the kiosk struggling with checking in as well. - the elevators were VERY hot and stuffy. No AC or fans running. I found myself complaining about this repeatedly like the princess that I am - around 11am checkout time be prepared - there was a ride where it stopped on almost every floor on the way down, and every stranger in the elevator stuffed full of bodies complained about the same thing. AC and air circulation changes the whole elevator experience. - our bathroom toilet room smelled like sewage the entire stay and I'm not sure why. It's also unfortunate because the toilet room door is one that doesn't go to the ceiling or to the floor, so it can feel weird if you're sharing your room with other people. - on the morning of our last day we were running out of toilet paper (having chosen the environmental choice of skipping housekeeping the days before) and called housekeeping to bring a roll. They said it would "be right up", and it never came. - funny complaint that is not that big of a deal but since I'm out here giving feedback I might as well - the toilet room doesn't have any place to place your phone (you know How some toilet paper dispensers have a little tray on top to place your phone? This one doesn't have it ) - I know we shouldn't be taking our phones to the bathroom anyway - but in this scenario I was using it as a flashlight to not wake up my husband LOL so I did the gross thing and put my phone on the back of the toilet Overall - it did the job, and the location was prime for this particular trip and what we wanted to do. Also the Amex platinum credit was very helpful in making this stay feel worth it - I think I would've felt like the experience was subpar had I paid full price. The random weird things about the room like the smell and the elevators really bugged me for some reason. I would be open to staying here again for the right price and event. It definitely did not blow me away.
