We stayed here during CES week, enjoyed the stay, and the check-in staff was friendly and welcoming. The junior suite was comfortable and spacious, beautifully decorated, and even had a wet bar! His & Hers bathroom, a standard shower, and a jacuzzi tub. The only thing I felt missing was the lighting in the bathroom, a bit dim. We did not get in line for the world-famous Oyster Bar, but did have a very nice dinner at the Charcoal Room, and breakfasts at the cafe in the lobby. Both had good food and friendly service. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a good option for the CES week! read more

Very disappointing experience at Palace Station Casino. Before arriving, we were told that our Grand Suite would be complimentary and show a balance of $0.00. However, when we checked in to get our keys , we were suddenly told the room would cost $350 per night. After questioning the charge, we were informed that everything was completely booked and that there were no other suite options available. No manager even came out to said sorry or explain Unfortunately, this is not the first time something like this has happened to us here. Be very careful with their promotions and offers, as what you're promised beforehand may not be what you receive at check-in. Scams!! In the end, we had to settle for a regular room and were not offered any compensation, dining credits, or other accommodations for the inconvenience. The entire situation felt misleading and poorly handled. Not worth the hassle. We expected much better customer service and honesty from a casino that advertises these types of promotions. read more

On 6/9/2026 at approximately 12:05 AM, I requested a simple $40 food voucher for Wingstop and was immediately denied by two Pit Bosses, Trisha and Ying. I was told there was "nothing they could do" because I was allegedly "over comped." As a high limit player who routinely wagers between $500 and $3,000 per hand and puts tens of thousands of dollars at risk on a regular basis, I found this response both insulting and unacceptable. The fact that a property is willing to take significant action from me but refuses a $40 food comp speaks volumes about how little value is placed on player loyalty. I have played at countless casinos throughout Las Vegas, and based on my level of play, obtaining a $40, $100, or even much larger discretionary comp is rarely an issue. To be denied such a minimal request after generating substantial gaming action is not only disappointing, it is outright disrespectful. The amount itself is irrelevant. This is about how loyal customers are treated. Refusing a $40 food voucher to a player who consistently risks thousands of dollars sends a clear message that customer appreciation is not a priority. Experiences like this make it very easy for me to take my business elsewhere. Quite frankly, being told "no" over a $40 food voucher after risking tens of thousands of dollars is one of the most insulting customer service experiences I have had in a casino. I'm not sure why their rating is so low. This is my 3rd time staying here and believe me, this is a true hidden gem off the strip! Rooms: Rates are excellent, the rooms are clean, updated and offer the basic amenities. Check-in: Fast, efficient and well organized! Yuliana is amazing and always takes care of checking me in and making me feel very welcome. Food: There's a variety of many good places to choose. Although I wouldn't go back to the Charcoal Room, every other dining experience I've had here has been excellent! From Chinese, Seafood at the Oyster Bar, Brass Fork, Mexican and more! Daily delicious food specials are offered that can't be beat. Bingo Hall: It's a spacious room, the seating is super comfortable and it's easy to purchase and play all day! Cinebarre: The theater is on the 2nd floor, has many cinemas with nicely priced food/meals served at your seats or at tables outside before or after your movie! Being a VIP guest since 2003, I have never been more impressed as I was attending Station Casinos 50 years celebration. The Vip buffet was the best buffet I have ever had. The atmosphere and friendliness of staff is always supreme. I feel valued, at home and treated like family. The narration of the history of 50 years, just before the fireworks/drone show, brought a happy tear to my eyes. The show was so much fun. Thank you Station Casino. Congratuations. This might be my second maybe third time ever in the casino. It's off the strip so that a big part of not visiting it. I came to meet up a girlfriend as we happened to be in Vegas the same night. First off, they still have free parking which is a major plus in Vegas. All the major hotel casino charges a lot for parking. It's not new but still well maintained. Seems like it was more locals. Also a bit budget friendly. Casino isn't overly big but a good amount of slot machines and table games. They have the major oyster bar that's constantly busy. The whole time we were here, there was a line. It's a small place with limited seating but they made a name for themselves hence the long line. There's also a good selection of restaurants on site. We spend a couple hours gambling and mingling. The roulette tables were good at a 10.00 a game. I don't know if they were short staff but the whole time at the table, the cocktail waitress came by once for our drinks. We spent a good hour at the bar where they had 3.00 beer and 2.00 margaritas. But as we were gambling at the slots on the counter, drinks were free. Same as all over the place in Vegas. It was nice chatting with the bartender and great to be able to get a drink when we wanted one instead of waiting for the cocktail waitress to come by. The casino area was nice. It not crazy big so you don't have to wander around looking for something to play. I've never stayed here so I can't rate that. But based on having some fun at the casino, the bar area and our meals at both Chinese's and snack afterwards. It was a nice experience. If you want someplace more affordable and not a massive casino, this place was nice. Also free parking is a win. It's a on the opposite side of the freeway from the main Vegas strip but still close. Booked this direct through hotel website as they were offering 30% off promotion plus a $30 hotel credit. It's more of a 3-star rating for me, but I have to be fair and factor in my husband's opinions. WHAT I DID NOT LIKE: - very strong cigarette smoke smell, even for a non-smoking room. Terribly strong. It was so bad I had to go to Trader Joe's and buy a room freshener spray. Smell probably due to the fact that this hotel is almost 50 yrs old, and smell circulating through hotel A/C system. Kept me up most nights. - super soft bed, sunk into the middle. I hate soft beds. - scratchy sheets, even motels have better sheets. I had to buy a throw from IKEA to insulate my body from the scratchy sheets but the good news is they probably use hot water and bleach them to get them this scratchy. - no fridge, no microwave. Want those? Pay $15 a piece extra. Need coffee? Starbucks downstairs, or go to one of the casino bars and pay $3 for coffee (cheaper). Free coffee if you're gambling. McD's across the street but it's driving distance. WHAT I LIKED: - the people/staff are super nice! Doris, our housekeeper, took good care of us. Front desk was nice, the security guards by the elevators were nice; also felt safer they were there. - FREE parking with spacious indoor garage. Super rare nowdays. Palace could nickel-and-dime, but they offer free parking for their guests, another reason I decided to stay here. Daily parking fees adds up. - clean room and pretty spacious room. Loved the mattress covers on the bed (bed bug check only lasted a few minutes). Individual toiletries felt luxurious. I loved the bar soap. - large personal safe that will fit a laptop. Most places no longer have safes. - clean pillows but too soft for my liking, no body BO smells like I smell sometimes (I stopped using hotel pillows - I use a rolled up towel, at least they wash those). - wasn't too loud, like most hotels. Never heard our neighbors except for an occasional slamming door. I know the room next to ours was occupied because I saw them. - Oyster Bar downstairs open 24/7. Loved that place (except for the wait). Lots of other places to eat, but didn't go to those. Did not try the pool. Did not gamble. Did not eat in any of the restaurants except for Oyster Bar. Did patronize the bar upstairs with the billiards pool table ($5 per play here, but only $1 per play a few blocks down at Area 15 Asylum Bar) CLOSE TO: - Area 15 (walking distance if you don't mind the heat) - Omelet House (go for breakfast!!!) - mostly a 6 to 7 min drive to the following Tiki Bars: Golden Tiki, Frankie's Tiki Bar, Stray Pirate and Red Dwarf (not a real tiki bar IMHO). - only 11 min drive from Harry Reid Airport. TOTAL COST: Approx $441 for 3 nights, with the promo, in a double queen, city view, non-smoking (still smelled bad). This is a hard review to write because I'm still debating between a 3.5 to a 4 star review. The customer service is great, staff are great, friendly, caring, and the location is super affordable with the $3.99 late night pancakes, $9.99 steak and eggs (player's card needed for the discounts). The hotel is very affordable, I paid less than $300 for a suite in the 15th floor (15003). Nice room, decent decoration, clean, great staff. Got clean sheets and more towels at request. The only down side was the plumbing in the shower. The shower kept getting clogged. Overall, I would definitely stay here but probably be more vocal on the plumbing if it happens again. Old but underrated casino/hotel. My family gets perks here so when they came down to visit, I went and stayed with them here. The first time was two years ago and I barely played anything but I noticed that they still would like to send you free rooms so I bought why not and my family came back. I stayed here again.. It's not on the strip, but it's not far away either. It's just a short Uber ride to the strip. Parking is free which is an added bonus. I have a 24 hour restaurant at theater upstairs and also a Starbucks. Not really any negatives here to say. I develop an unhealthy obsession with a cinnamon roll that is sold at the 24 hour restaurant.. I never used to touch any of their pastries, but when I was looking at them, there was one man that ordered four cinnamon rolls and there was one left so I figured why not and the rest of history. I must've had one every single day on the trip. I also would wait until 11 PM to get the five dollar breakfast special because I'm very cheap lol Anyhoo I would definitely stay here again. Stayed here for 1 night for business. Same as 20 years ago when I first visited, the Oyster Bar is amazing and worth a visit although wait times can be long. I lined up at 2pm on a Sunday and waited for an hour. The casino itself is decent and has cheaper table games than casinos on the strip. There are a few restaurants, a gift shop, and a Starbucks on the property. The room is on the older side and could use a renovation. As someone else mentioned, the bed is super soft (in a bad way) where you sink into it. The shower took a while for hot water to come out. And the elevators are slow....seemed like only 2 out of 4 were working. I would come visit again for the Oyster Bar but for $185/night I was expecting more. read more

I can't afford to stay on the strip anymore so I stayed at Palace Station. It was more within my budget. The casino was old, had a smoky smell, and is in need of a renovation. I did not gamble or have time to play the slots. I had a king bed room on the 15th floor. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. It looked to be renovated in recent years. No mini fridge in the room. I had a great time staying in the room for three nights. I would definitely stay here again, if I don't find a good deal on the strip. I did the pre check-in online so the check-in process to get my key-card was quick and easy. There is a security guard standing by the elevators at all times. Since I was staying at Palace Station, I finally got to try the Oyster Bar. I did have to wait over an hour for a spot, at 11pm on a Saturday night. Since it's open 24 hours, I should have just went there for breakfast. The pan roast was really good though! I also ate at the Brass Fork, which was also open 24-hours. The server suggested the breakfast burritos and they were so good. They have late night deals, if you're hungry during the wee morning hours. There is a pool, but I did not have time to check it out. Now with 60% less noise, dirt, and depression! "Noisy, dirty, and depressing" was how I originally described my 2014 stay, but that was a weird section of hotel with no windows that made Circus Circus look like the Wynn. It was much more station than palace. But I frequent Palace Station regularly for bingo when I go to Vegas (ditching my long time ex Gold Coast) and I've stayed there when the price was right, my first time being 1992. If not for it having my favorite Bingo room in the valley (separate review), I wouldn't come, especially when it isn't walking distance to anything but the late-night Chik-Fil-A window across the street. The rooms are nothing special but they're clean, the wifi works, the showers seal better than most with glass doors, with decent water pressure (variable shower head) and heat, double sink space, multiple outlets, plus secure fast elevators and soda/water vending machines on each floor. They blast music in the parking lot, which is different. For a budget hotel, the pool area attempts to be "resort-lite", though it closes at six! If you want a pool party, you'll have to use your tub. read more

We stayed during the holiday season and had a great experience at the Palace Casino hotel. We got a 2 queen bed room on the 15th floor with the Mountain view. The room was a really good size, beds were pretty comfy, bathroom was a good size. Small improvements could be made with deep cleaning the carpets. I know the cleaning staff is doing a great job with maintenance so no complaints there! Hotel was great and a good price for the holidays! read more

I have been to palace station a few times and while I hate the parking structure I do love the inside of this place specifically the sports book it has a nice seating area where you can place your bets and watch the games at your leisure. The food is pretty good the buffet was really good and had a great variety of food for the value not sure if it's still there but to me it was one of the highlights of this casino. Surprised to see all the bad reviews and experiences that people encountered. Fortunately I have not had a bad experience staying here. When I come to vegas, I always stay at the palace station. I like staying off the strip where it's quiet and not full of people yelling. I love when they give me a suite with an amazing view of the strip. The employees are always so kind. Games: I win quite a bit when i'm here. Table games like craps is $5 minimum which is a plus since I can sit down for a long time. Several negative comments. 1. Several kiosks for the member cards has been broken for years. You have to go to membership services to get what you want. This is the only casino where management does not a thing to fix those kiosks. 2. Stale donuts for sale. Harder than concrete. Food service don't insure quality. 3. You cannot use your half point dining at the Oyster Bar. Why not? You can at the Durango Station Casino Oyster Bar. 4. Many times cars without disabled plates or placards park in disabled spots. Security does nothing! 5. The penny buffalo machines touch pads for pins are off center or do not work many times. Where is the upkeep of these machines. 6. Drink service is a shining light. Palace Station is our go-to for BINGO! My husband and I stay here often and have even become Gold members, which earns us complimentary rooms--a great perk we took advantage of during our July stay. We were given a Premium King room and paid an additional $51 for a microwave, unfortunately, it wasn't included. That aside, there are still plenty of positives: free valet parking, friendly and attentive staff, and a variety of restaurants open 24/7--including the famous Oyster Bar. The hotel and casino are quiet, convenient, and offer reasonable rates, solid comps, and decent gambling tables. There's also a nice dine-in theater, which is a fun bonus. A few drawbacks: The rooms could really use a modern update, especially in decor and lighting. The walls are quite thin--you can hear your neighbors waking up--and there's no kitchenette sink or microwave, which can be inconvenient for longer stays. Overall: It's a solid choice if you enjoy earning casino points and comps, and want a quieter stay with easy access to good food and games. read more

Once a great casino with all the pomp, Palace Station is now a locals destination. The staff is super friendly but it just can't compete or compare with its siblings Red Rock or Green Valley. Rooms are small, fairly clean (don't look too hard) and updated. Food isn't bad but the slots are tight. The pool is nice not large but the lounge chairs are comfortable. It's a long way from upscale but if you know that going in it's okay. Would I stay there again? Probably. read more

This review in particular is for the Palace Station Bingo hall. I really enjoy Station Casinos Bingo and this one is no exception. The Bingo hall is on the smaller side but nicely decorated with the lucky red color. All of the cashiers and bar tenders here have been pleasant and answered any questions that I had. They have some convenient packages to choose from for the electronic cards as well as the paper cards. Once you hit a certain minimum spend, you get free drinks which is one thing I particularly like about Vegas Bingo. read more

The Palace is a "locals" casino not far from the strip. Their Bingo is super. People always think you have to have a dabber and paper. But not true - you can tell the teller you want say, $40 $50, anything you'd like into the machine and you sit there and the machine does it all. It dings when you are one number away from winning Bingo! The hosts there are so very friendly and kind. One in particular is Dimetrios K. A most congenial and helpful guy. He is always cheerful and eager to help with any problem we may encounter. We have followed him from the Santa Fe to Red Rock and now to the Palace. People like Dimetrios are what makes gambling a fun and exciting time even when you lose!!! Wish they'd bring back the buffet. Visit the Palace, you'll love it there! read more

The palace station sports book is run very poorly. The manager Joe thinks getting loud with customers amid appropriate. I'm a president card holder mind you need to wager 100k a year to be the card holder. Asked for a drink ticket from a ticket writer I know over 25 years. Was refused by her brought manager to check my account to see if they can. Seriously for a $2 soda or well drink. That's not how I take care of customers. Then gets loud and challenging me when I call him out that I'm ready he pulls the security card. The Palace Station is a fantastic LOCAL casino in Vegas. I've been coming to Vegas for 40 years. I usually stay at nicer casinos in the strip, but you will pay $300-$800 per night with all fees and taxes. I'm staying here because I get perks/rooms for being higher level player member. On12/31/2025, Aria room was $1400 a night. Also, Caesars and MGM's games are terrible. At Caesars, 9/6 Jack of better video poker machine are available only at high limit with $25x5=$125 per spin. Palace Station has UPTO 99.8% return rate video poker machines, starting at 25 cents. So, if you have seen the strip many times, and want to enjoy less crowd, quite local casino, I like this place the best. Parking is free and easy, foods are cheap. The staff was friendly, and the place is SUPER CLEAN!! I was pleasantly surprised!! So, take your $500, $1000 bucks you want to gamble at the strip, bring it here and try your luck. You will have better odds. Then, go to Caesars Forum Shops and pay $7-$11 valet parking and do the sight-seeing at the Forum, Venetian, Bellagio, Aria/Cosmo, Crystal Shops, Wynn, and any other casinos. Stayed 10-24-25 through 10-27-25. I had a comped room. Paid for an upgrade to a junior suite (room #4003). Pros - off strip and that means some off strip pricing on "some" things (still expensive at the gift shop). Free parking (though we did not have a car). Clean enough. Friendly staff, at least the ones that I ran into. Decent dining options...and the food was above average to very good at all the places we went to. Good burger specials (cafe) and good beer specials at the bars. Comped room meant no resort fees. Some complain about the bed but I loved it (it is on the softer side)...good pillows too. Stairs were close and only 4 flights up. Which mattered this time. Short Uber/Cab ride to north end of the strip. Property seemed safe and decent amount of security. Cons - my room was 4th floor on the corner and the spotlight to light up the hotel also lights up the room even with the curtains shut...and the bed is right under the curtains. Long time to get hot water. Poor water pressure. Very small bathroom for a junior suite. Somewhat dated property now. Clean though. Every year we go, every year not all of the elevators work. This year we got 3 out of 5 working...we were told we were lucky to have that. The wait a few peak times was noticeable. I took the stairs to avoid occasionally. Area is pretty "rough" outside of the property. Casino/awards program - you win, you lose. I will never be negative about that part. They have a decent selection of slot/table games, and reasonable table limits. I can say though, I was disappointed that after thousands of dollars rotated through machines/tables over 3 days that when I asked for $150 to be comped at checkout, I was told "No - maybe next time/trip" by the hosts. We have been Diamond + at Caesar's for many years and while their program has gone downhill as well, we have never had an issue with such a little total getting comped at the end. To be fair...we are not high rollers or even close to it (and we do Tahoe/Reno more often)...maybe Vegas is different. On the flip side, I was grateful for the comped room. I guess beggars can't be choosers. I think if you want some off strip pricing, more quiet pace, free parking it is a decent stay. For us, once or twice a year Vegas visitors, we will probably head back to Caesar properties (which is now sort of "meh" as well)....or maybe try Freemont. Came to another cheap option off the Strip but not too far away from it. If looking for a more affordable place to stay, but not a long ways from the action, then this is the place to stay. Palace Station is not glamorous at all but it's kept clean pretty well. Has the basics. There's a pretty big casino and a few places to drink and eat for good prices. A basic looking hotel from the outside in a not as pretty area. It's located to the west of the Strip on Sahara. There's a whole lot of nothing around this. Have to go a ways to get to anywhere but there's a bus stop just outside of here. The casino is kind of old looking but it's kept pretty clean though. Has a few dining options inside. There's a lot of the typical hotel amenities like a pool. Also this place likes locals apparently. There's lots of discounts and specials. Good place to come and stay cheap. It's a bus ride away from the Strip so it's easy to get around here. This place seems to favor locals so if you live around here there's lots of reasons to come here to gamble or whatever. read more

I went to visit my aunt and cousin and this hotel has been refurbished and it looks good the upgrades are very modern and nice. Great resurants with a few that are upscale and economical. The famous oyster bar is located within this hotel. The decor is nice and cozy with great color. Note: Not far from the strip or shopping mall. Great place to stay off the strip. I stayed here for 1 night on a Thursday for some business down the street. I had been through the Palace Station, but have never stayed here until now. I was very pleasantly surprised. They have done a lot of remodeling here over the years. My understanding is that they tore down the section of the property that included the room where O.J. Simpson ran into his criminal problems in 2008. The room was very affordable, but I went ahead and upgraded to a better view (I think it was called the "tower view"). It about doubled the price, but for one night it was worth it. The room was in good shape and the bed was comfy. It was a very nice stay. The casino floor is larger than it looks. There are several restaurants and bars to hang out it in. The Oyster Bar is always popular, but I've never had the time to wait in the long line (maybe someday). My understanding is that the Oyster Bar is open 24/7 :O I will definitely stay here again if given the chance. read more

We checked into our executive suite 5-10-26 and our guest clerk was super friendly young man.The hotel is well kept very clean and I would definitely stay again. Our room was on the 21st floor Simply amazing Views I mean views like crazy suite 21030. Everything was in working order. read more

Great place to stay. Perfectly located; close to great restaurants and the strip but far enough from all the madness to be able to relax. Rooms are very clean. Check in process is super easy since they text you a link morning of. My flight landed way earlier than 3pm and they were still able to get me my room when I landed! The star of the show is the super nice employee who works at room service, he has a wonderful vibe and always made it exciting to get room service delivered. Will definitely stay here again when in Vegas. read more
