Boston Terrier. A little background, we (my wife Marie and I) are senior citizens with health issues and Meah also has numerous health issues. on several occasions the owner Lawrence came by and picked up Meah in his own vehicle for her bi-monthly bath treatments when I was hospitalized. Lawrence definitely goes above and beyond in providing respectful, supportive service to his customers. Amanda is our girls groomer and has a very special relationship with both our girls, especially Meah. She is able to get Meah in and out of our car when no one else can get her to move. You can see that Amanda is truly a dog person. If you need grooming services or anything for your pet, including but not limited to; high quality dog food, various all- natural chews, amazing toy selection, bowls, collars, leashes, literally anything you could need for your dog is here. The receptionist who answered sounded anything but friendly when he scheduled me and took down my information. Told me I needed shot records, but didn't give any other information. I was already not impressed but I decided to give them a shot anyway. (Maybe he wasn't having a great day?) Come the day of the appointment, I get to the place and the receptionist there didn't even look up at me when I walked in. She seemed pretty lack-luster. Then she asked me what I wanted done for my dog. I explained that I've never brought a dog to the groomers before because my other dogs have all had short hair. She called the groomer in and they both kept asking me "what do you want?" I don't know how I could have said "I don't know" in any other ways. I just asked for what they would recommend as my dog had matted fur and needed a clean up. It was frustrating to say the least. When you have someone who doesn't know what to ask for, it doesn't make must sense to ask her what she wants, does it? My dog is a rescue and very nervous around new people, and even though I told the staff this, they were very aggressive in trying to get her to come to them. It was so hard to get her to come, that I had to leave the leash there with them so they could lead her back with it after I left. When I picked my dog up, they let her out of the back area into the small glass lobby area with no leash or collar. Just let her run out by herself. Almost as soon as they let her out, someone else came in and my leash-less dog ran out of the door and into the parking lot. She could have been hit by a car or ran away. Any number of things! Luckily she circled back to me and I was able to grab her. Why would you just let a dog out with no leash? If I had not been in a reasonable mood, I probably would have made a bigger deal of it. I doubt I will be back because this last thing was just the clincher after an already underwhelming experience.

Upon my dogs next appt i mentioned it briefly to them & since then they said they are all booked up till March & this was in January & that they have their regular customers ( i was a regular customer ). Plus they told me my dog doesn't stand well . As long as I've had my fur baby & mind you she is approx 13 years I've never been told anything to the negative side , however i personally feel you need to take dogs age into consideration. I've called several times even trying to get my dog an appointment in March & they don't answer their phone for me. This is a business & i feel you should answer your ph no matter what. I never had an issue with Express pet Spa , but i certainly don't appreciate the way they've just brushed me aside. Had i been mean or ugly i could see them not wanting to respond but this is not the case. I've never written a review before but this experience has bothered me .
