As soon as I walked in the atmosphere was fantastic and unique with knights and other touches that let me know right away this was going to be a special night. They have an incredible selection of beers on tap with pale ales, IPA's, fruit flavors, stouts and more. There were so many that sounded amazing that I couldn't choose just one. Luckily they have a tasting tray of four beers for people like me who can't decide! They were all delicious and flavorful making it impossible to choose a favorite. Plus the amazing worker behind the bar suggested mixing the orange creamsicle and Red Dragon (raspberry) together which was a like a little bit of summer making a welcome appearance in winter! If you like something sweet this is for you. I wasn't sure what to expect from the food but it exceeded both mine and my friend's expectations! The onion rings had a thin coating on them and weren't rough at all which is how I like them. The tavern dipping sauce was so good and mixed very well with the ranch. We had a hard time deciding which flatbread to choose because they all sounded amazing but decided to go with the Chivalry which was a white pizza with chicken, mozzarella, ranch, and banana peppers. Stopped in while traveling through Ohio. Shared a pair of flights with a friend so that we could try more of the wide variety of beers that Paladin offers. They were all very good and a few, such as the Red Knight, were excellent. After careful consideration, we opted to order a pizza and stay for another drink. The pizza, jalapeño popper inspired, was a delicious complement. Would strongly recommend a visit! Weather permitting, the outside patio is also a plus! read more

I'm back and loving this even more than when I was here 5 years ago. The Hydra Hopped IPA is so very good IPA...very good. It's not a Hazy, it's a very smooth IPA. On the other end, the Nice Melons Watermelon Lager is great. Flavorful and perfect for a summer day by the pool, at a picnic, or just sitting on the patio. The rest of the board is so diverse that you could bring any taste here and likely fine something that will hit their palate. It's a kinda small place, but people are so friendly that you won't care about the casual conversation that might flare up with the folks sitting by you. Service was great. Stopped for a few beers on a Saturday afternoon. Loved the medieval theme and ambiance of the inside. I had two different blonde ales. Husband had an ipa and the classic lager. All very good. We enjoyed our beers on the patio. There are lots of picnic tables, coverage under the patio, a little pond, and looks like lots of field area for there to be events and for children to enjoy. There was also a sign about different activities they have throughout the summer. Seems like a super fun place to be we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely return. read more

Super cool vibe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The beers were AWESOME! We tried 15 different beers, and all were great. Beers brewed on premises. We especially liked Choo Choo, a beer that is brewed with fresh basil...I know, it sounds weird, but it was delicious. Can't wait to go back. read more

This place was more than I expected. First of all they have a ton of craft beer on tap, therefore u can pick your own flight which I definitely prefer. I was there with my husband and another couple. Been 3 times, and each was worse than the last. Staff treats you like they are doing you a favor and you are inconveniencing them. Last time I went with my dad, bro, his gf, and sis and the bartender read a book the whole time. No last call before they kicked everyone out randomly at 10pm on the dot. The staff was great; I'm only remembering Bob by name (nice guy), but all four of the people behind the bar were friendly and helpful. Pretty awesome place if you enjoy craft beer! They have growler and crowler fills and their flights are $5! The seating area has a view of several of the fermenting tanks and is medieval themed. They don't offer their own food but do have delivery from several local restaurants available on Friday and Saturday and from time to time have even had a food truck in the parking lot. This is a cool place that offers at least ten of their house brewed beers on tap at a time. The bartenders are awesome and sometimes the brewmaster himself is even filling glasses. I have loved this place since they first set up. It's an awesome place to kick back and enjoy yourself and everything on tap. Bar far, my favorite beer is Champion's Breakfast. Everything about it is just great. But don't limit yourself to any one of anything! I've never been disappointed by a beer served, or by anyone doing the serving. Stopped by this place while visiting from Florida. The bartender whose name is Bob, was a great guy. He was very friendly and knowledgeable on the different beers. I really loved their ESB, it was a great tasting beer. Next time I'm in town I will stop again. You can bring your own food and flights are only $5 so you can taste all their beers. read more

On a trip...looking for a brewery...that is my M.O. Found this place not too far from where I grew up. The first thing that I noticed when I walked in (other than the interesting theme) was how clean this place was. There is great pride taken in the cleanliness and we appreciate that. Now, cleanliness does not necessarily translate into good beer, but it did here. I tried a total of 6 of their taps (don't judge...4 of them were on a flight) and I enjoyed everyone of them. I cannot say that too often. This is the type of beer that you can drink, and drink, and drink... Not extremely high alcohol content, but just enough to give it that extra punch that lame beer doesn't get. The flavors were clear in each beer, while each was distinct. Not a huge crowd here for a Saturday, but we didn't mind. It did start to pick up as the evening went on. Very glad we chose this place and will go out of our way to stop in again. on our way to eastern Pennsylvania every year, we purposely get a hotel 8 min. from Paladin Brewing so we are close. We ALWAYS 'UBER' it to the place, so we can have more beers :-) . It is great and I think his name is BOB...not the thinner guy with beard but the other one....like I said I think BOB is his name. HE IS SUPER and holds conversation with us the whole time we are there..VERY RARE that happens. we love coming here and normally stay HOURS. My husband LOVES the beers and the interaction with BOB...he has good stories, good recommendations and everything. Cancer Sucks ESB and Champions breakfast ARE his favorties and next to those, Paladin Porter and IPA of Revelation. SUPER BEERS FOR HIM. Me, I like the light ones so I normally always get pints of 'sir Kenneth which is a blonde' but now I see they have a CREAM ALE which is one of my favs and what I drink at our local breweries. We are coming into Austintown/Youngstown on Saturday and we will be there that afternoon...can't wait to see you guys again this year...always a pleasure!!! read more
