Everything is always good. This is my favorite pizza in the Peoria area. The salad with the house dressing is amazing!

The salad is very garlicky but very good. Lots of locals eat there. Wing night get another 10 for $1. Pizza is good along with spaghetti.

Review Visit: June 24th, 2015…read more They say, "pizza makes the world go around". Geo's does a good job helping it spin... 8 slices at a time. It is no lie; I am a huge pizza lover. Circular. Cut into slices. Endless arrangement of toppings. I will try almost any and all pizzas. So, it's only natural that I try the small pizzerias throughout the world. Geo's Pizza was widely regarded as great pizza among some of my coworkers and friends. After some very little arm twisting, I finally made my way there. I brought along my friend who had it before and wanted to come with. We walk in and snag a seat. It wasn't too busy, so we got to pick wherever we wanted to sit. We settled down on a table and cracked open the menus. Geo's is famous for their cheesy dough nuggets. Without much more arm twisting, my friend convinced me that we should order some. After looking over the menu, we settled on the cheesy dough nuggets and a barbeque chicken pizza. The service was prompt and never overbearing or missing. The waiter checked in on us here and there, without being too overbearing or too absent. The food took a normal time to come out. About 15 minutes or so. As soon as the pizza and nuggets hit the table, we pounced on it without hesitation. The nuggets were little nuggets of deliciousness. The barbeque chicken pizza was a delight. It was a bit weak on flavor compared to other ones that I have had, but I am not a pizza snob and enjoy almost all pizza equally. Did Geo's live up to the hype? Yes, for the most part. Despite the pizza lacking a bit in flavor, it was still delicious and a good lunch with a friend. Sometimes the company is just as good, if not better than the meal.

Went and had Geo's pizza Tuesday night, we were greeted by the waitress promptly with menus after…read morewe sat down there was another table in the back of the restaurant. She was very attentive to both our table and the other from my notice. Checking on us, having a laugh and refilling drinks. The pizza was absolutely delicious, we ordered at classic combo on pan crust and the famous nuggets with cheese. My only complaint however was the dipping sauce the waitress brought us had a number on it which assumed it was a date but it dated 17 it was the 25th. The sauce has changed a lot over the last couple months but it was better. The dining room tables do seem to always have a hue on them or crumbs and the floors didn't look like it had been vacuumed, swept or mopped on the hardwoods. Last month when we went in on a Thursday, same waitress as this past Tuesday but the other employees were talking loudly in the kitchen, I could specifically hear one girl complaining about how she had better get a better tip than 2$ on a delivery, using a few choice words. I assumed it was just a slow night, the phone was ringing like crazy at one point no one was in the kitchen from what I could see but two male employees walked out of the doorway by the soda machine. One still had his apron on which struck me as unsanitary. Despite some of the cleanliness and service-area concerns, the food is still what keeps bringing us back. The Classic Combo and nuggets were delicious, and our experience this time around was much better than some of our previous visits. Hopefully the little things like table and floor cleanliness and keeping conversations in the kitchen professional can be addressed, because this place still has a lot of potential. We'll definitely be back to indulge in our Classic Combo again!

Julie and I visited Bernardi's in Washington on Thursday, August 6, 2026, to meet up with a group…read moreof friends. There were eight of us at the table. When we arrived, the other six people in our group were already there, having drinks and sharing bread from the basket provided at the table. We ordered our meals, and when our food arrived, I asked for some additional bread to go with my meal. I was told, rather abruptly, that there was only one basket of bread per table. What I found particularly frustrating was that there were other tables with only two people sitting at them, and they had a full basket of bread. Meanwhile, our table of eight was expected to share one basket. I even offered to pay for additional bread, but I was simply told no, and I never received any additional bread. The policy itself was disappointing, but what really bothered me was the way the situation was handled. The waitress was extremely abrasive and difficult to understand, and there was no attempt to explain the policy or offer any alternative. A simple explanation such as, "I'm sorry, we have a new policy, but you can purchase additional bread if you'd like," would have been completely different. We have traditionally enjoyed Bernardi's and have gone there about once a week, either dining in or getting carryout. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be returning. Restaurants have plenty of competition, and when you're spending your hard-earned money somewhere, you should be treated with courtesy and respect. I understand that restaurants can change their policies, even policies I may not agree with. What I don't understand or accept is being treated rudely when simply asking for something as basic as a piece of bread with my meal. It wasn't the bread that ultimately made me decide not to return. It was the way I was treated.
