The office itself is super cute and clean, it looks brand new and the waiting area is something you would find on pinterest. The dentist is incredibly friendly, very thorough and delivers good and bad news in an honest and kind way - not in a way that makes you feel guilty or terrible like some dentists tend to do. I am returning here for my next appointment, I would recommend this place to a friend. I gave it only 3 stars because I am big on customer service. The receptionist ladies that were there at the time were two young girls (probably late teens) & while I was waiting, a patient called asking to reschedule his appointment for a later time that same day, when the girl who was talking to him placed him on hold to ask her counterpart if this was okay, the other girl got really annoyed and responded with "why?? You know what, no. No, he'll have to pay the rescheduling fee if he doesn't come in." once the girl who was helping him got off the phone they proceeded to talk about him making comments like "so much for caring about your chipped tooth!" "I know right? What's wrong with him??" I work in the customer service industry too and that is just unacceptable and unprofessional, we all have experiences with people we don't like but there's a time and place to vent, and its not in front of other patients waiting to be serviced and expecting you to be kind & understanding.

Of course, they do a good job cleaning/polishing your teeth. For the most part, they are very good at diagnosing and fixing any dental problems. We've experienced times where we were billed for services covered by insurance, or received collection calls when bills were paid. While I like the practice, the main problem seems to be their billing department. I doubt they are doing anything on purpose, but it seems like billing isn't checking their work before sending out bills. We've argued charges several times now, and it is getting to the point where, if they don't get their act together, we may be forced to leave their practice.

After my initial visit (cleaning/exam), I wasn't entirely sold on the dentist's recommendations for multiple crowns. This ain't my first rodeo though, I've had other teeth repaired where crowns were advised, and all that held up just fine up to now. So I brought that up with the front desk, and Advocate Dental did offer me a free 2nd consult with a different dentist on their staff. However, I elected to seek a second opinion at a different office altogether, to avoid any conflict of interest on their part. 6ish months later, I'm back for a cleaning, and I informed them that I visited at another office for that second opinion. They in turn waived the exam fee for the current visit, as well as the fee for bite wing x-rays. I didn't request this, they just did it. I appreciated that alone, but then they also assigned a different dentist for the exam, Dr. Le, and I must say that I like this guy a lot. He heard out my pov about the treatment plan, walked me through some different options, and basically he came off like I could trust his judgement. And then I came back for him to do my filling, which btw was not a simple one (which is why another dentist would just tell me to get a crown). Well, I'm here to report that I'm very pleased with how all that went. Look, I've had my share of fillings, I could tell when the dentist working on me is skilled, efficient, and is detail oriented. I appreciate Dr. Le for all that. And the results are great, tooth feels great, I'm quite happy. I'm also quite happy with their front desk staff. They're very nice, and also I appreciate how they tackle schedule changes, any questions, etc...just generally a pleasant experience interacting with them. And again, them waiving the exam/x-ray fee because I already visited another office for that, that's definitely doing right by their patient. I'm staying with this place.

My whole life, I have always abhorred doing ANY dental work. Every Dentist I have ever met, prior to Clock Tower Dentistry, haven't heard of my conditions and have always belittled my experiences while acting like I am being over dramatic about how painful the tools are on my mouth. So much so, I have always had to use full anesthesia for any procedures more complicated than a basic cleaning. This is the first time I have not only met a dentist that knew about my conditions, but has actually taken time to learn about how my conditions effect the mouth and how different the experience is for dental work as a whole. I was incredibly surprised, I almost cried. Not only did this dentist understand my conditions, he was fully able to accommodate anything I needed to feel safe and pain free. The staff even came on their day off just to accommodate me and give me their full attention when I needed a root canal done. This procedure was such an incredibly different experience, I even fell asleep! Even though I am moving to the city, I will be making the journey out here to see this dentist for any dental work I need!

Two days later, I walked through the door with a treatment plan from our former dentist (for my son) that was mind-bogglingly expensive. Dr Samer sat down and reviewed the plan with me, explaining what he recommends, really taking his time to show me what was happening in my son's mouth. And... the best part... his cost was sooooo much less and so much more affordable! I have a large family so clear communication and reasonable costs are always a priority!
