I went here with my friend and got my nails done. I asked for a mani with acrylic and gel and a pedi with gel. I sat with this one nail tech, I don't want to say her name just because I feel bad, but I am very disappointed. I asked for funny bunny, she used two different colors that were not funny bunny and said it was the same color just a different brand. It was DND which is funny bunny brand. I said okay. She then started my mani and was unable to do almond when I asked and proceeded to cut down for square. She also cut me on two different fingers. And finally when I went to pay, I put my phone number in for points and it was at 0 even though I have been here before. Not happy at all. read more

Bad Service, Poor Customer Care & Discrimination I've been going to Palazzo Day Spa & Nails for many years, but the quality of service has been declining, especially over my last three visits. Unfortunately, this most recent experience was unacceptable. When I arrived, I signed in and took a seat. Normally, someone greets customers and confirms the service, but this time no one acknowledged me. I noticed three nail technicians sitting on their phones, completely ignoring anyone waiting. After about 8 minutes, another customer walked in. She appeared a little older than me (around her late 60s) and Vietnamese. A technician immediately came from the back, greeted her, and began helping her pick a color, without her signing in. Meanwhile, I was still left waiting and ignored. The message was clear: I was not valued as a customer and was being discriminated against. My time and money didn't seem "good enough" for them. I left and went to Eden's Nails Salon instead, where I was greeted with respect right away, no wait, no crowd, just professional care and I was extremely happy with the service. I went to Palazzo during the week leading up to Thanksgiving. During that visit, my partner and I went for a mani/pedi. During the pedicure portion, the technician was using the cheese grater tool (I believe it is called a callous rasp). It had started to become uncomfortable. I was trying to move my foot away until it was really painful when I had to tell her to stop. She saw that it was bleeding. I couldn't see how bad it was until I got home. I have 3 deep gouges out of my heel. Fortunately, I just had my tetanus booster, but I was paranoid about it getting infected. I have had to spend money on bandages to keep the wound from getting infected and wrap to keep the bandage in place and a bunch of antibiotic ointment to also help keep it from getting infected. This actually ruined part of my cruise as I couldn't use the pool all week since I had an open wound, and I couldn't get on the beaches in Fort Lauderdale the several days we were there nor at any of the ports out of fear of it getting infected. This could also potentially make me miss out on using the pool at the Beach Club at Disney in a couple weeks if these wounds don't close up completely. As for the rest of the service, it was great. That is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. The Technician was overly apologetic during the session. The nail service, especially on the manicure was spot on. If you have had luck here... keep at it. But this was my first time here and I don't think I will be back. read more

Unethical business practices! I brought my 89 year old mother here and requested a plain manicure, as we usually do. Every time we come, they try to upsell us on a gel manicure and every time we refuse! And with good reason... my mother is a brittle diabetic and her nails are paper thin. However, this time I ran an errand to Publix and I returned to the salon to find mom receiving a gel manicure. The manager said they asked her, my mom is very hard of hearing, and she agreed. When I explained what had happened to my mom, she denied giving permission. We will never come back! They don't even deserve the one star I had to select to post this review. read more

I originally started out giving a good review but had to change my mind. My dip out in the light is so so. Paid and extra $15 for gel polish on my toe and it only lasted 2 days. I usually don't use gel polish unless I'm on vacation because I don't want this to happen and look now I have to walk around on my vacation with messed up pedicures. I wanted to love this nail salon. I got a simple spa pedicure with gel polish, no design. I also got a full set with gel and I paid an extra $5 for design (French tip but in the color). With tip of 18% I paid $109. I have gel polish all over the skin of my toes, and one hand of my nails is just not carefully done. I had a 4:30 appointment and I felt bad cause we were there 10 minutes after closing. When I got to my car I noticed the issues, but they were already closed. I went today cause I work all week and I fly out of town Friday. So I really cannot go back to get it fixed. This is not $109 worth of service. I can't go back in for 2 weeks for it to be fixed. I will just choose to never go here again. read more

But there is one lady who I've had twice now who has been talking on the phone for at least a portion of the manicure. I wouldn't have minded except she's definitely noticeably less attentive to my nails when she's on the phone. It's noticeable only because once she hangs up, she is more attentive versus while she's on the phone. The manicures are definitely not as immaculate and a little sloppier that way. I love the SNS color selection - I love sparkles and the sparkly burgundy (gold sparkles) is one of my favorites. My second manicure was a sparkly peachy color - if rose gold was a nail color, this one was as close as possible without looking metallic. My most recent manicure - I actually found the same color after a miserably long search for the perfect color - Japanese Maple (136)!!! Speaking of my most recent manicure... I don't mind sitting in silence or if the nail tech is listening to music or whatnot, totally understandable. 2nd time that I go in for a full set and two different technicians didn't know what they were doing. Both times my nails looked terrible. They don't know how to shape nails or keep same length nails. My thumbs are super short than the rest of my nails. The owner doesn't even care. They act like everything is okay even after you are clearly are telling them hey I don't like this. Two friends of mine recommended Palazzo so I decided to give it a try. I got a dip manicure and paid $40 plus tip. The salon is spacious with several stations for both manicures and pedicures, and it was generally clean with relaxing lighting and decorative features. I was not fully satisfied with my dip manicure for a couple of reasons. 1. The final product was thick and slightly lumpy. 2. The side edges were not polished. I did appreciate that the lady who did my nails was invested in helping me find the color I wanted. I had a picture of the color, but the salon didn't have that exact color so after pulling several colors to compare to the picture, the lady suggested she try mixing two colors, which actually worked! What a painful and disappointing experience. I went in to get a pedicure two days before a family cruise. The tech clipped down the side of my toe so aggressively that I yelped in pain and started to bleed. He quickly put my foot back into the water. He proceeded with the rest of the steps, the scrub and the paraffin wax, etc. Then when the time to polish came, he put a drop of nail glue over the spot. I paid $62, no tip due to the mishap. Fwiw, my aunt sat next to me and had a pleasant experience (talked my ear off) and her tech did all the same steps but finished 30 minutes earlier than my tech. Well lo and behold it got infected. The woman who did my pedicure cut my skin twice, even after I cried out, and then put a piece of foam in the bleeding crack to stop the flow. She also dropped the utensil that pushes the cuticle on the floor and then picked it back up like it was nothing. When I went to pay, the cashier charged me a dollar more than the price listed on the giant menu. $24 instead of $23. The cleanest nail salon I've ever seen! Gel manicure was done with individually wrapped sanitized tools and new emery board. Pedicure tub has a plastic liner placed on it before it's filled with water to start your service first time I've ever seen this...love it! Great selection of gel colors which are ALL paired with regular polish if you want a match for your toes although regular polish is a bit darker than the gel. The salon offers a private group pedicure room with 6 chairs and wine and water bar. . They also have a VIP pedicure room for couples. Mai did a great job! I will be back UPDATE: Mai wasn't working on my second visit so I had a different technician. I was not happy at all with the way she filed my nails! I wasn't my usual outspoken self and left the salon not happy with the service received. Six days later I had to go back as the polish chipped on 3 nails amd 3 broke because of the way they were filed. This time Mai Was working so she was able to repair the damage done. I highly appreciate the service received! I didn't get the service for free because I decided to change the polish to the cat eye which is awesome! Came in on a Thursday at 4p. No one was waiting. They had me do the regular, choose a color, sit down, go to the room, give me a drink. In the meantime my husband drove to target and paid for items and the employees at palazzo still hadn't attended me. We're talking 20 minutes of soaking my feet. As soon as I got up and asked for a towel to dry my feet someone was magically available for me. If you don't have someone to assist me then tell me. Don't have customers soaking their feet longer than needed. We get impatient when we're sitting on the salon chair, not the waiting area. read more

After reading the reviews I decided to go here with one of my friends. First impression is the inside is super clean and very modern. Right when I walked in I was greeted by one of the workers, and we got started on the services I wanted to do right away. I decided to go with an underarm waxing ($15) as well as deluxe french pedicure ($38?). The underarm waxing was very quick, took less than five minutes. I was not extremely happy with the underarm waxing because when I got home I still noticed long pieces of hair here and there. The deluxe french pedicure was great. I didn't feel like the service was rushed at all. My nail technician made small conversations with me and she was extremely accommodating with my newborn daughter in the stroller next to her. Fiancé and I were walk ins each time & got seated right away for a mani & pedi, but they do get busy so arrive early or make a reservation. They did a great job both times. We walked in the salon at 1:30pm and didn't leave until 4:30pm. My daughter sat in the chair for a fill that took 3hrs to complete! She was told it took so long bc the last fill needed to be removed (whatever that means) Let's not also mention that the last fill was done by another tech in this same location 2 weeks ago. They charged 60 for these LEGO block looking nails. Horrible customer service! The place looks nice but that's it sorry not sorry for any other decent techs here. I've been going to this place for years and it's always been hit or miss but never bad enough to go somewhere new. After today I'll never go back. I had a mani/pedi with Trang. She was constantly stopping services to text and talk on her phone (about 10 times). She didn't rub my feet during my pedicure (which usually there are 2 times where you get a massage during the service). The first time she didn't do anything. The second time, she had 1 hand on her phone texting and the other on my leg, basically petting me. When it was time for my mani she walked me to her table and then left me there for 10 minutes waiting. When she came back she continued stopping to get her phone, take her AirPods out, and take calls. After filing when I came back from washing my hands, I saw her cutting her own cuticles with the same tool she had just used on me. Then proceeded to use that same tool on me again (I was honestly too shocked and mortified to even say anything). At the end, she also gave minimal effort (about 30 seconds total) to the hand and neck massage portion of the manicure. I only treat myself to a mani/pedi every once in a while to relax. The whole experience was so upsetting and rude. There's another nail salon directly next door and across the street from Palazzo. I'm going to go to one of them from now on. Today was my first time trying this place. It was a very nice experience. It is so hard to find someone that can do a good SNS French manicure close to my residence. Still a little distance but closer than Maitland for me. Jennifer knocked it out the park with her 8 years of SNS experience. She was prompt, friendly and attentive to any request I made. She even took down the number of the SNS powder that I like and will look into having it for my next visit. The place was clean and there were at least 15 pedi chairs. It's a very spacious location and the ventilation felt clean instead of filled with nail dust. There is even a neat little section that would be ideal for a girlfriend's party. read more

This salon is the best salon I've ever been to. Killed my nails after sailing last year before Christmas and Tina made me look BEAUTIFUL for festivities (Pandemic break) over the holidays. I've been going here for years and they've made me feel so safe as a scientist who islolated during the pandemic. My sister who lives in Atlanta has her nails done when she visits me because she says "Atlanta doesn't have salons or service like this one".
