Different cheesesteak #1075 in the last five years. After watching my video I don't know how much I liked this cheesesteak. I got a pizza steak with pepperoni. Dinner roll'ish roll which was okay for this cheesesteak. Great amount of cheese. The pepperoni added much needed flavor and moisture. Okay amount of meat but a little dry. Worst customer service I have ever received in a restaurant. I ordered a pizza online, it was supposed to be ready in 25 minutes. I arrived on-time and was told it was not ready yet and confirmed my order with the cashier. 15 minutes later (40 minutes total) I was told they forgot to make my order (by the same cashier who had confirmed my order 15 minutes earlier) and offered to warm up a pizza they had made at some other time if I would wait longer. I asked to speak to a manager, I was refused and was told there was no manager on-site at 5pm on a Thursday. I asked for a refund, I was told go into the online order and adjust it myself, because they wouldn't do it. I insisted until I was refunded. read more

I always enjoy Palermo's. It has been awhile since I have eaten in house, but decided to visit this time. I ordered assuming that I would take home as well. The small Israeli Salad was enough for at least 2 or more with a nice mix of chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions and herbs in a light dressing. Very fresh. I also ordered the Portobello special pizza, which included garlic, of course the portobello mushrooms, spinach, and fresh and traditional mozzarella cheese. The only change I made was to have it as a red instead of a white pizza. It was great as always. When ordering make sure you order it as the portobello special and not a portobello pizza as you may just get mushrooms. It looks like they finally brought back unsweetened iced tea, but it had so much lemon juice in it as it was very tart. Service was efficient and friendly. They tried to pay at the counter and were told their server would take their bill. They finally left cash on their table and left, not happy! About 20 minutes after ordering our server came over to ask us if we wanted beef or chicken on our taco pizza!! Why didn't you ask that when we ordered? Finally got our small personal pizza 40 minutes later...was it good? it was ok. My husband was starving and would have eaten anything! Always delicious--suggest their special pizza or anything with the portabella mushrooms as a topping. Pizza is my go-to, the crust is the perfect balance of crunchy and chewy, but the sandwiches are also a good choice. One thing I enjoy is the selection of Mediterranean dishes as well, highly suggest the Israeli salad as the lemon dressing is so fresh and refreshing. I can't even begin to count how many times I've driven by Palermos over the years and never ever stepped in until very recently. I've been missing out! This place is super family friendly and it also has a bar area if you just wanna stop by to grab a quick drink and a slice. I really dig their happy hour specials - cheap beer and a handful of food items are half off such as the calamari and flat breads. So far, I haven't had anything that I didn't like. Palermo always has the best cheese pizza on the block. I think they cheese to crust ratio is really good; not too much bite in the bread and not overwhelming on the cheese. The portions are solid as well. Our group also got the calzone which was new; I usually only get the pizza since it's the best. Calzone was ok; nice toasted outer crust with Italian filling. Was not too greasy either. The service is pretty good; you come in and take a seat and the server will come and greet you. The place has an old, vintage feeling which is neat. The only thing is the floor.... It's very uneven and if you take a wrong step, you could trip. Aside from some dining in issues, the pizza is one of the best in the region. We have been enjoying Palermo's Pizza in Blue Bell since moving to the area 5 years ago. Typically we would be sitting in for family orders or doing large pickup orders for family parties. Recently, we've had equally good experiences with delivery orders due to covid19. Food is consistently good - pizza, steak sandwiches, wings, salads - all tasty. Online ordering is super easy. Delivery orders arrive ultra fast and very hot. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of options and large portions. My favorite pizza spot in Montgomery County! Always a favorite I've never had a pie I didn't love. Their sauce is slightly sweeter and for me that takes the cake. Everyone's all about toppings or crust or cheese but for me it's all in the sauce and I'm a happy camper for Palermos. Their toppings are fresh and large. Not slithers or finely chopped veggies. Recently had dinner there on a Tuesday night. It was not very busy. Food is fine. Service was friendly but completely unorganized and basically incompetent. Table full of dirty dishes when dessert came. Had to remove dishes myself. Had to persist to get silverware and straws for drinks. Had to ask for table to be wiped and had to point out where tomato sauce was on table when the kid came to wipe it. Must be a family operation. They need somebody watching the front of the house. Bug in salad alert!! Don't go here and order a salad. Pizza is pretty good but there have been 2 experiences of which a bug in salad!!! I ordered croutons not bugs! My girlfriend (being the way she is) continued to eat the salad. No refund was offered and the owner tried to justify the bug in the salad. This came with a side salad. I had the Middle Eastern platter. My son and I learned to make our own falafel and may have become falafel snobs as a result, but he said these were better than ours. The platter came with 3 large falafels, 2 stuffed grape leaves and huge portions of tasty baba ganoush and hummus, plus the biggest pita I've ever seen...oh, an Israeli salad, too. All for $11! I love the bright woody interior and surprise bar area with flat screen TVs. Ordering is really easy too - just walk up to the counter and tell them what you want, then take a table number and they'll bring it out. If you want pick-up, try their efficient online portal. I came here for pizza, and other than your usual toppings they also have a bunch of specialty slices. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken and BBQ Chicken pizza slices and an ice tea for around $8. The slices are really large with a crust on the thinner side and was pretty good. My coworkers ordered a bunch of different things, from paninis to cheesteaks, and they all looked really good and got glowing reviews. I really have no choice but to give Palermo's five stars because they met and in some areas exceeded my expectations. While I wouldn't call the pizza here earth-shattering, it's still very good and is exactly what I wanted. A highly recommended lunch option. read more

My fiance' and I had driven by this place many times and always said we wanted to try it out and we finally did! It did not disappoint!! There were a lot of people in the restaurant, which we were hoping meant that it's good. First off, the place just smells AMAZING and makes you really hungry for some pizza. What I didn't expect though, was how extensive their menu was. They have pasta, meat dishes, sandwiches, and paninis etc. on top of pizza, calzones and stromboli. My fiance' decided to split a personal sized pizza and a personal sized stromboli. For the pizza, we decided on the "Palermo Pizza" and we got buffalo chicken for the stromboli. Both were AMAZING. Super attentive, checked with the kitchen on a special request, got 5 of our 6 orders perfect and immediately owned up to the minor mistake made on the 6th and then corrected it without there even being time to get mad. Then he brought us take out containers without our even asking AND split the check 6 ways without skipping a beat when we asked at the end of our meal like real jerks. The crust is delicious, the tomato sauce is just right, they use good cheese (though it can get a bit oily on a cheesy pizza), and they use quality ingredients for their toppings. Their other food is good, too, and they definitely have great salads. With the new location, they have a nice space to sit and eat, and they have a bar with a pretty good beer list.
