Chicken Parmigiana. Delicious sauce and tender chicken!
Kristina M.

Always delicious pizza on our visit and this time, the chicken parm was so tasty as well! The employees are always so friendly. Been coming for 10 years and will continue doing so.

Philadelphia Cheesesteak Adventure

Different cheesesteak #1075 in the last five years. After watching my video I don't know how much I liked this cheesesteak. I got a pizza steak with pepperoni. Dinner roll'ish roll which was okay for this cheesesteak. Great amount of cheese. The pepperoni added much needed flavor and moisture. Okay amount of meat but a little dry. Shouldn't pizza steaks have sauce on them?? Sauce would have helped this pizza steak a lot. $14.31 after tax.

Small Israeli Salad

I always enjoy Palermo's. It has been awhile since I have eaten in house, but decided to visit this time. I ordered assuming that I would take home as well. The small Israeli Salad was enough for at least 2 or more with a nice mix of chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions and herbs in a light dressing. Very fresh. I also ordered the Portobello special pizza, which included garlic, of course the portobello mushrooms, spinach, and fresh and traditional mozzarella cheese. The only change I made was to have it as a red instead of a white pizza. It was great as always. When ordering make sure you order it as the portobello special and not a portobello pizza as you may just get mushrooms. It looks like they finally brought back unsweetened iced tea, but it had so much lemon juice in it as it was very tart. Service was efficient and friendly. It was not too busy when I arrived but soon picked up with lots of families. All good.

12in Steak - Gluten Free 12"
Danielle M.

This is my "12 in gluten free roll" that I ordered for my chicken cheesesteak. What a freaking joke. Also ordered extra meat and there was little to no meat, just an absurd amount of cheese. Workers would not accommodate me when I said this was insufficient; will not be returning.

This trusted "go to" is on a downhill slide. Flavors are no more as ingredients seem to be cheapened. Too bad.

We love the mushroom and spinach pizza! Nice level of garlic, and generous on the mushrooms

I live an hour away from Verona so when I heard this place was only a 15 min drive away from our hike, I knew I had to stop by. The well known Verona's did not disappoint. Unique to this pizzeria, the pizzas AND cheesesteaks are award winning. The wife and I ordered one of each. When we pulled up, this place was packed for 12PM. It hustlin and busslin! I ordered at the desk and waited maybe 25 mins (not bad at all for ordering in the spot and with the place being busy). Pizza: we ordered the "Hot Honey" at $27. We attacked this thing within 2 minutes of coming out the oven. Incredible dough with depth and texture. Perfect balance of sweet (sauce/honey) and savory (pepperonis/grated parm). Topped with fresh basil and hot honey. I wished there was more hot honey but to each their own. Elite pizza!! I highly recommend Cheesesteak ($18): we ordered it with fried onions and Cooper Sharp. Delicious bread, I'm assuming it's home made and if it's not it's definitely high quality bread. Tender ribeye steak chopped and mixed beautifully with the cheese and onions. Meaty sandwich for sure. I prefer my cheesesteaks a bit more cheesier but I was a happy camper as was my wife. All in all, this joint is pumping out top tier "pizzeria food". This will be my post hike reward anytime I'm in the area. Dare I say Verona's goes toe to toe with Angelo's Pizzeria (highly regarded pizzeria) as best in the state! 5/5

We had a Grandma and a House. Good sauce, nice cheese, cooked well, crust on the crispy side. I will return, but the OLD Nino's ' from years ago on Rt 611 and Blair Mill has set the bar for Montgomery County pizza joints IMO.
