We love this place! There's just so much to choose from. That's what makes it so enjoyable, it's great for families because everybody ends up happy. I really enjoyed my horchata, it was fresh and flavorful, and the raspados are oh so good. Mango is my favorite! The employees are always so kind and helpful and it's clean and air-conditioned. Super cute shop with soooo many choices that you will be sure to find the perfect treat! Especially during these 100+ days. Ample seating inside with great lighting from all the windows. Lots of parking too! It's definitely worth the few extra minutes it may take a to get through the construction happening on Grant. Yep, this clean and modern paleteria offers up some great refreshing treats! I've been here several times and each time the employees were super nice and carefully crafted expert raspados. I'm a strawberry pineapple guy so that's my typical choice. (Vanilla ice cream is mandatory as well as the dollop of sweetened condensed milk. Yum!) Their Vanilla ice cream is very creamy and it resembles the homemade ice cream I used to eat back in the day. All in all this is a must do in Tucson. read more

I pass this place all the time and my friend and I decided to finally stop and check it out. Color and bright decor. Staff was nice and answered our questions. They have indoor seating. I come here all the time never have a issue, my fiancé went in and ordered the biggest watermelon agua fresca and when he brought it out to me to the car, I could smell that it was off it smelled sour, i tasted it and it was to sour to drink, I went inside to ask if I could get a differnt batch or something and was pretty much told no because it was fresh and he thought it tasted fine. Instead of trying to accommodate or even offer a refund because I had the whole not drank drink in my hand, he just told me no it's pretty fresh. Will definitely not be going back to this location there is zero customer service skills. was forced to throw it away and waist money. read more

The paletas was the star of the show over the chamango. Both items were tasty, but the tasty popsicles had the perfect flavor, sweetness, and consistency. I caught this place right before close, it was very clean inside. I was shocked it was, with the amount of people I seen go in And out of this place. My recommendations were all by the young lady at the register. I'm terrible with the names, one was a popular mango drink, I believe it was a mangonada, it tasted amazing! My only complaint is that on the lid of the cup, if they can get ones with bigger openings. The opening was a smidge smaller than the spoon so the spoon caught the lid every time. So it was difficult to eat with the lid on, and there was plenty of fruit chunks in it so that was nice! I also wanted a drink so I got a pina colada/pineapple drink, they asked if I wanted ice, I said no but I will get it next time. There was a lot of people here, but the parking lot is more than big enough to accommodate. read more

went in to order aguas frescas, which by the way, were good. HOWEVER. My daughter was in the middle of ordering, the staff immediately started helping a woman who started talking over my daughter. She was ignored and made to wait until they finished helping that entitled woman. They stopped her mid order to help someone else. My daughter mentioned the interaction before we left the parking lot. I walked in to let them know how poor their service was. I'm a Mexican woman with a black daughter , that is exactly why I walked back in. I understand the racist actions, I see it, I hear it. I will stand up for the injustice that she faces. She is remedial but the "FU B!tch" was THE cherry on top. Instead of apologizing for their awful customer service, the response was to verbally attack me. PULL THE CAMERAS it was 5:45-ish 02/28/2025. That racist woman that works there, that doesn't have eyebrows, is the one who acted so carelessly. If not all people can be served you don't deserve the money. When someone ISN'T guilty of something, they will casually tell you that and it's believe and understandable. But she discriminated against my daughter and attempted to berate me. Because she was called out for her behavior. Again, she only wanted a drink. read more

There is a lot to choose from when you visit Paleteria Y Neveria La Michoacana. They have several flavors of ice cream and popsicles, smoothies and shakes, hot Cheetos and raspados. I tried the pistachio popsicle. It was creamy and full of nutty goodness. There are tables inside to stay and eat your yummy dessert. read more

Stopped by one night after passing many times. My mom introduced me to paletas (de frutas y crema) when we first moved to Arizona and so this was a nice treat. I got two types including the fruit chopped one with photo below and an Oreo. My mom got a handful of types including mango with chamoy among chocolate covered bananas. The mango diablito was pretty good! Worth a stop in and definitely try a paleta or even bring one home for another time. read more

The menu is so big that it can be overwhelming, but the young servers are happy to answer any questions. They also have a small selection of savory snacks. Ordered a Green Juice or Jugo Verde and it was more then half watered down. I Lived in California where they have tons of michoacanas and I have never had a juice this watered down. For $7 youre better off getting a real snack or not going there at all. I really wanted this place to be good since its right by my house, but to have a drink this watered down when its not even aguas frescas is a scam and not fair. Dont order the juice unless you just want a cup of 3/4 water. read more

I went there for the first time with my girlfriend for some late night snacks and lucky for us it's right down the street. We got a piña raspado, jamaica agua fresca, and a large tosti-locos. The food was delicious and drinks were super refreshing and sweet. We were helped by a very nice woman and the place was very large, clean and welcoming. Can't go wrong with a la michoacana they are scattered around tucson but this one is smack dab in the middle of town which for me is a nice easy stop on the way from my daughters daycare to her gymnastics practice. Solid flavor selection, my favorite Mexican vanilla is on tap, along with what literally seems like 100 flavors and types of ice cream and fruit bars and just options. Clean establishment, smelled nice and ice creamy floors were mopped, and the appearance of everything seemed to be well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful, samples no problem with a smile and man are these places cheap $4 for me and my daughter ice cream scoops. They should raise their prices to stay open lol! read more

I have been wanting to do a review on this awesome place. I have been there 3 to 5 times already. Yes it's that good! Perfect location for the Eastside! So far I have tried different "paletas" and ice cream. The Paletas have the best unique taste just like the Michoacana in Mexico when I was a kid! The ice cream on the other side, could be less sugary and have more of the original flavor. The staff although I sensed the busy time and a bit of freakish mood, I know they were understaffed and they really tried their best. Please hire more people for weekend afternoons!!! read more

I parked in front of the store and unloaded all 30 gallons into my small camping wagon. The storefront has large windows all around, so the staff could clearly see me unloading the entire order. Only after I had finished and was about to bring everything inside did an employee, a young blond man, come out and tell me they wanted the delivery brought to the back instead. A simple heads-up at the beginning would have saved a lot of unnecessary work. Instead, I had to haul the entire load around the building after already unloading it. To top it off, the tip was just $1. Delivery drivers work hard, often in extreme Arizona heat while handling heavy loads. A little communication and basic consideration go a long way. Based on this experience, I won't be accepting deliveries to this business again.

While that's what caught my attention and actually got me in the door, I've stayed a customer because they do mention that their dairy comes from cows that have not been given antibiotics or hormones. So for those who pay attention to such things, take note! This locations is pretty small but I do like that they have just a couple of outdoor tables with chairs so that I can sit outside when it's nice weather.

So... that was lovely. My sister also said that when she was in last night something seemed off, that it was messy, and she had concerns that employees may have even been on drugs. So for those who pay attention to such things, take note! This locations is pretty small but I do like that they have just a couple of outdoor tables with chairs so that I can sit outside when it's nice weather.

A simple heads-up at the beginning would have saved a lot of unnecessary work. Instead, I had to haul the entire load around the building after already unloading it. To top it off, the tip was just $1. Delivery drivers work hard, often in extreme Arizona heat while handling heavy loads. A little communication and basic consideration go a long way. Based on this experience, I won't be accepting deliveries to this business again.
