It's the little things like a handwritten note of thanks on your delivery receipt!

I work about two blocks away so my office orders constantly, mostly for delivery (don't judge! Lol). I am not kidding when I say everything is fresh and good!! You really can't go wrong when ordering here! Last week I enjoyed a Caesar salad, BLT and a turkey sandwich. The Turkey special is fantastic! They serve my favorite BLT ever-it's what dreams are made of! Now I'm thinking about what I'll order next week!

Egg Salad Sub Super Italian Sub Italian Sub

I went here a few days ago with some friends. I never been there before but my friends have. I got an Italian Sub and it was really good. It's a chill place and took the 10 minutes to make 4 subs. We weren't in any rush but we definitely had a delicious sub and would definitely come again!

I was in the area getting my nails done and decided to stop here for something to eat. I sent my husband in and of course men do not pay attention lol. I asked for a vegetarian chicken sandwich if it was a fried patty or a strawberry spring salad. I end up with the vegetarian chicken sandwich on multigrain AND the strawberry salad. One of my kids wanted fries, my other wanted a parfait. I was starving and forgot to take pictures of that salad and other items. The salad was very fresh and good. The parfait was also good and the fries by god were excellent! I however did not like the vegetarian chicken at all and that's why I took away one star. It needed a bit more seasoning than the brief fry on the grill because it basically tasted like rubbery tofu. I did have mayo, pickle, lettuce and tomato on it which helped me get through eating half of it. I gave the other half to my husband. I will say everything on my sandwich tasted fresh and the pickles are really good. I'll definitely go back and try some of their other options because outside of the vegetarian chicken everything else was really good and the bread and toppings were very fresh. I do recommend trying this place.

    The D-Money

Bread Board's sandwich, oddly named 'D-Money' triggers my own sandwich lunch obsession for a week. Here goes my odd way about this- At the dentist office I was reading a local magazine when I noticed a reference to try out Bread Board Plus. For pretty much 10 years I drove by blindly through Haddon ave and thought "one day" I'll go. FINALLY. Stepping into Bread Board Plus was NOT the cramped up little sandwich shop I expected. I order the D Money: house breaded chicken, American cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo on a hoagie roll. Local rolls from Del Buono's Bakery--a plus! Free chips if you dine in. Here is where a sandwich obsession starts and my husband starts to think I'm nuts and doesn't even think the D Money is that great. He also thinks the Italian and Chicken cheesesteaks are so-so but with really great bread. Me, though, love this sandwich for its BLT and breaded chicken fusion. It's very simply, a great sandwich at a local small sandwich shop at a higher than normal price. I don't question it, I just go like a zombie and eat my D Money and leave...until this obsession ends or I try something else. Inside, there are 2 and 4 seaters in an open and semi-private room. Cool. Nothing fancy at all but not a rush in and out vibe. I'm going to assume they are a hit with the local businesses because a few business suits came and went.

Always amazing. Always five stars. I order from here quite frequently because I work close by. I've tried their soups, sandwhiches and wraps, and none have disappointed me. There's plenty of meat, lots of flavor, and I'm always satisfied!

    Corned beef special
    Tina S.

I have been to breadboard plus about 4 or 5 times, usually for take out but have also had their salad and soup bar pre-covid. I think the sandwiches and salads are really good-- especially the corned beef special and the cobb salad. However I do find it to be just a tad bit too pricey for what you get. The corned beef sandwich was around $10 with no sides and it was a little small. Thankfully it was delicious. I also would suggest the soup and salad bar but I'm not sure they will stay have it post-covid. Anyways, really good place to grab a quick bite although slightly overpriced.

Consistent. Solid sandwiches. I've been eating here every day. Best part is I can get a sandwich early in the day. Really delicious stuff.

When we were finally seated we had a great waitress who shared her recommendations. We landed on the Eggs Benedict and the $19 BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE FRENCH TOAST, which is baked cinnamon & vanilla custard-soaked brioche, butterscotch apples; topped with brown butter oat streusel & Philly whip. Unbelievable. The place was loud and popping on a Sunday around noon. Not intimate, but a fun post-church gathering of hungry souls. The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was genuinely pleasant from the start. Julian, our server, greeted us promptly, got coffee on the table quickly, and kept everything moving smoothly. In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee. Pricing felt very reasonable for the area, and overall it was a good stop we would happily return to.

I have stayed in countless B & Bs and have contacted Select Registry (the B & B directory that highlights luxury inns) four times to suggest myself to become one of their reviewers. They haven't responded, and maybe they shouldn't hire me because I'm brutally honest, picky, and have high standards when it comes to inns. Inns have to pay a hefty fee to be featured that book, so I'd probably piss off their paying inns. But I'd make a lot of them happy, too, because when something is good, I let the world know. But I digress. Let's get back to Haddonfield Inn. I'd like to give them 5 stars because they are a dog-friendly inn. And when I called to book the room, Nicole, the innkeeper's daugher, was such a sweetheart. I really, really wanted this to be a fantastic experience because it's close to NYC, they take dogs, and we could return time and time again. Yay for NJ! We were off to a GREAT start! Right? WRONG. We get here and I go to the restroom to relieve myself. I see that the maid has not yet cleaned the floor... there's hair and dirt on the floor. I know, I know. I'm picky, but for $259 a night, a clean bathroom would be a nice touch. I told the innkeeper (I was very nice and charming about it) and she came to clean it herself. It took her 2 seconds flat. She ran back out and called my name. "Angela, you owe us another $20 because you are only staying for one night. Can I have your credit card again?" Huh?? Now normally an extra 20 bucks would not throw me. But we were told when I booked the room that it was $259 and were sent the receipt in a follow-up confirmation. So I asked her about it and she just mumbled something about the fact that Nicole made a mistake and she was just going to have to charge me the extra $20. I told her that this is not what was told to us when we booked and I had the receipt to prove it. She turned to me and said, "Well, if you aren't happy about it, you can just leave." I stuck my 8-month pregnant belly out (just in case she missed it... doesn't she know that you aren't supposed to mess with a lady who is that pregnant?) and said, "I'm not unhappy, I'm shocked at the way you are treating your customer." She knew she was wrong and after mumbling some comments that I chose not to hear, she said she'd reimburse us the $20. And, to her credit, she wrote us an apology note later in the evening. I would have given this place 2 stars, but because Nicole was such a nice person to us and because they accept dogs, I give them a freebie star.

Since this was practically the only lodging available in Haddonfield, we were very thankful that we were able to bring the 2 year old on the trip with us. Drinks, snacks, and wine were available at any hour of the day. We really liked our room, but it got pretty chilly on our first night. We could not figure out how to turn on the fireplace in our room. We found out the next morning that the gas was off in the entire house, which was why we couldn't turn the fireplace on. However, they quickly remedied the situation and our room returned to a comfortable temperature in no time. I would return based on the location and the super friendliness of the staff. This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.

Both kids liked the main meal but the fruit was on its way out. Lots of brown and squishy spots. Normally my kids could eat a pound of fruit each, but they both passed on it. My wife got a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. She really wanted fries, but they had none. What breakfast restaurant doesn't have French fries? We thought that was pretty strange. She said the sandwich was fine, but nothing spectacular. My parents shared eggs and potatoes and a pot of decaf. The potato consensus across the table was that they were not good. Too salty and not crispy enough. This was especially upsetting because of the lack of fries. Oh well. They also hated the coffee, but my parents only usually like McDonald's coffee. Boomers. What are you going to do. Everyone agreed we would not be back here, but for me, with the parking lot and satisfied kids, I wasn't too sad about the meal.

After reading a bunch of comments about how good the cheesesteaks were here in a Facebook SJ Food…read moreGroup I decided to give Local Ljnks a try. The cheesesteak was a super generous portion of quality meat, caramelized onions and cheesy goodness in a deliciously grilled seeded hoagie roll. I also enjoyed the bechamel based Mac and cheese side order (big enough for 2 to share) and the key lime pie was to die for! The owner, Joe was in the dining room and spoke to / thanked every patron who entered his establishment before they left. We got to talking a bit and I could tell that this guy gets it... he is personable, he is likable and it's evident that he loves what he does. 5 stars!

The food took forever, which it usually does but we still go since we normally like the breakfast food. The burrito finally arrived after 30 minutes. The tacos my husband ordered took another 10 minutes. My husband was less than thrilled with flavorless soft tacos that took 40 minutes to make. We decided to provide feedback because we've been here many times and expected more. Again, we regretted this as well. I don't know why we bothered because no one knows how to take honest feedback anymore these days. The young boy who portrayed himself as the manager (was in fact the busboy) was dismissive and but did offer refund, which we declined since that's not the reason we provided feedback. He couldn't handle someone trying to tell them how to improve instead of asking for something for free. It's crazy how someone doesn't want money is still treated as difficult. Then my husband takes the time from his day to speak with owner. He thought he had a constructive conversation, only to find the owner goes straight into his kitchen in front of customers and tells the young boy what my husband said. So unprofessional! They have an open kitchen and this guy thinks it's a good idea to speak with your employee now??? Little did they know while they were trash talking my husband, instead of appreciating the fact that he wasn't asking for money and only wanted gave valuable constructive feedback from repeated customers, that they all chose to turn it around and call my husband a jerk. I did call out that they need to be more careful about how they speak about customers and it was quite interesting to see an entire kitchen and at least 5 customers in line speechless and in shock! As they should have been. Like the rest of society these days, no one knows how to behave and be professional anymore. I'm beyond embarrassed for the owner and anyone affiliated with this restaurant. Just downright pathetic!
