The atmosphere is much better and you can tell people take their workout seriously. It is smaller and there's some equipment I miss, but overall its a better gym. Staff seems friendly and I see them clean quite a bit. Don't really ever have to wait for a rack as they have 2 platform half racks and another one in a different area that has a landmine. The machines I've used feel pretty smooth and I notice pretty much everyone wipes them down when they're done. They have 3 bench press stations that are pretty sweet! You can change the angle in increments of 5% on decline and incline. Something I also really like is they have a nice standing and seated calf machine. Also a pretty good variety of attachments for the pulley machines. Wish they had heavier dumbbells though, as I can't do DB rows with straps anymore unless I wanna do like 40+ reps. I know that sounds crazy, but when you strap up you'd be surprised how much you're limiting your back gainz yo. But they have a landmine where you can load the weight up and do the same type of row. Oh and if you know what a glute ham raise is they have it! I love that thing and have been using it twice a week and am still getting stronger at it. They have a cool turf area in the back where you can do a variety of things, but unfortunately all it can take is 1 person in the area and you can no longer drag the sled/tire around or do farmer walks which are things I really like to do. Also, I honestly feel kind of bad when I do it because I feel like I'm hogging the area. If there was just a little more square feet it would be absolutely perfect. The only really legit complaint I have is the water temperature is not consistent in the showers(its usually cold or lukewarm). If that could be fixed that would be great. Cold water is fine now, but its pretty miserable once you get to the winter time. Even with a few things I don't like I highly recommend this gym and think that you will really like it too!

It's pretty clear the proprietor of this location does not care about this location at all. For comparison my primary location is the university location where beds are maintained and staff is always friendly and nice even during construction the experience was better. I also utilize the hulen, ridgemar, and alliance locations a couple times a month as errands, work, or familial obligations dictate. On top of that, they gave me a carry bag for my new lotion (which I got 30% off!), and even threw in 2 red light therapy sessions that I absolutely LOVED. I got super ripped off by this place. I signed up for once monthly spray tans for $15/month. I…read morehadn't used more than one spray tan over 6 months and of course all the remaining ones that I paid for expired. So I went there the other day out of desperation (I was short on time and my usual place wasn't close to where I was). They tell me that I missed a month's payment (my debit card had expired a few months back) so they charged me for that month. Then I had to pay extra for a combination of two bronzers, extra for the rapid tan solution and extra for the primer. All in all, I spent about $60 in addition to the $15 monthly over 6+ months that I got nothing out of. Also, they use their own brand for spray tan booths and they're awful! The color is so uneven. PBT used to be great but their corporate greed is officially out of control. And the quality is AWFUL when it comes to spray tan services. I usually frequent one of their competitors. That competitor uses Versa Pro spray tan machines, which are so much more effective and way cheaper! I only spend about $70 monthly for unlimited spray tans and also get the use of sauna pods and red light therapy at no additional cost. Do not go here if you are big on spray tans. It's the biggest rip off. Needless to say, I cancelled my membership.

And then finally forcing the issue when the only beds available were upgrade beds because the other beds were somehow down. So I canceled my membership, but I had to go back because they were still charging me for it. I never had a problem with anything being dirty, but I do have a problem with treating your customers dirty. And I think it's pretty dirty when you pull a bait and switch and run your business on a shoe string.

But this evening she listened to me apply lotion through the door and questioned what brand my lotion was and where I purchased it then demanded to see the lotion when I emerged from the room because apparently you are only allowed to use the greatly overpriced lotion purchased at their store.
