Every time I have come in here, each worker at the front desk has explained the memberships in the most confusing way possible and all in very different ways from each other. Last month when I came in, the girl at the front was new and didn't know what she was doing, she charged me a walk in price because I decided I wanted to keep my account frozen and my tan ended up being incredibly patchy after I showered it off. When I went back in today to get another tan, I told them what had happened last time and it turns out that girl had forgotten a crucial piece of the kit that I had paid for which is why it came off patchy. All the girl at the front desk today had to say about that was that sorry and that she would leave a note for her manager if she wanted me to. I told them I would just do a walk in today because I probably will not be coming back. I usually don't like to leave bad reviews and I am a fairly understanding person, but I have had terrible luck with this business and I do not recommend it to anyone! read more

Girls are nice enough, big complaint is that none of their beds all work at the same time. Their sun angel has been out for about 2 weeks and yesterday I went in to try and use it, of course, not working. On top of that BOTH their sunless beds were out of order. So the lady recommended a different diamond bed for me and recommended time and I'm burnt to a crisp and leaving for Hawaii sunday. Been tanning for a month no problems then this. Pretty upset all the hard work to get burned the last week. read more

Just to start off this review, I had the best phone call with the store manager Summer(I think that was her name) it was so sweet and genuinely the most patient person ever. DO NOT use their spray tanning!!! i came out so splotchy and disgusting. And it was my first time there so i was supposed to get a FREE spray tan but ended up paying $30????? Thats not cool. The one staff member there was very friendly but honestly the product is just not worth it. read more

Place is clean beds are very effective staff all seem cool BUUT.....There's nothing more shady then a buisness taking advantage of there own customers. .do not by any of there tanning lotions HUGE MARK UP! And they come at u like cheap and aggressive car salesmen and trust me I know that's expected but this is ridiculous I went the weekend of black Friday the girl tried to sell me the lotion at regular price was 150 bucks but since it's half of it will be 75 bucks today only..I looked up the item right there smh it was going for no more then 28 bucks everywhere but as I told her what I was doing she immediately explained that any lotion found for cheaper is probably expired... so apparently they have the only tanning lotion in the world that is not expired...great place but have to say it's filled with sharks oh and I just look up the lotion I bought when I first signed up it went for 24 bucks... luckily I got it on sale from them for 90 bucks lol...other then that real nice clean place and effective beds Update: this place is very corporate No Personal Touch at all every time you talk to them you feel like you're being gamed I haven't been in there in a while but of course they kept debiting my card which is expected I guess I had missed one month during a span of four or five months so I went to pay it I asked if they could somehow give me a discount they said they would give me $10 off which either way I appreciated I did say I was going to cancel my account because I haven't been using it.. at that point they said they would not give me the $10 discount and went on to lecture me about if I come back I will be paying full price and not get my current discount as a member trying to have some type of Leverage over me like I'm some idiot and of course the whole sales pitch of freezing my account and paying a minimum every month on something I'm not going to be using so I said "that's cool I guess I'll have to go somewhere else next time" and the girl very happily and arrogantly repled "ok no problem"no thank you but i have enough bills siphoning out of my account ... and in reality all I wanted to was cancel my account that I'm not using I felt like I was breaking up with a psycho ex-girlfriend lol... during my time here there was one girl here that was very cool and very helpful other than that horrible experience here and I get it nothing against the people that work there but I'm sure their corporate office puts a lot of pressure on them as they put a lot of pressure on their customers too buy their overpriced products and up sell everything read more

I have never tanned here before but called earlier today to check prices on 1 mo unlimited tanning packages. I was told they had one for $25 plus a 4th of July discount. I went down there and the girl said my total would be $80. She failed to tell me that the minimum package was for 2mo and they add on a $20 enrollment fee. I said forget it and walked out. Needless to say the 5 min that I was there I saw some pretty dirty looking people coming in and out and wouldn't want to share facilities with them. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

I feel I've owed PBT an update for a little while now. After having serious issues with this location I found that the regional directors were more than happy to make up for the bad experience, which was frankly refreshing. Since my past experiences with lackluster staff and cold beds, I have not gone back to the same level beds. Instead, I opt for upgrades whenever I use this location. This has worked out so far and I have no complaints on the functionality of things. The staff here is still not my favorite- I've solved this by making the location at market place my default. I know this sounds like less than ideal but there's nothing wrong with the staff- now there's nothing wrong with their service either. I just don't like it- personal preference if you will. Some Yelpers haven't allowed for a fair period of adjustment. I liked going here when it was Sundance, but once new ownership came in I was excited to see improvements and upgrades with each visit. The staff is friendly, and they're just doing their job when they inform customers of what's offered; I don't feel pressured. I like the new equipment, too :) And, there USED to be a weird sulfuric smell before the changeover, but it has since then "danced" its way out, and it's now just tan-tastic and beach-y keen... This place itself, is great. Seems clean, and I have never had to wait very long to get a spray tan. I use to drive 20 minutes just to come to this specific location because I felt comfortable here. The single reason I am never coming here again, is the staff! One particular staff in general... I believe her name is Jen. She is just like a fast talking car salesmen. I had several visits, and was highly disappointed because I saw her working. My first encounter, she gave me wrong instructions for the spray tan, which left my hands looking blotchy. At my next visit, I asked a different staff member (who was very friendly) about this, and she gave me correct instructions, and it seemed like this wasn't the first time it was brought up to her. Another visit where I was stuck with Jen, she got me wrapped up in a small membership that seemed like it would have saved me money, but it was such a mistake! I had to came back several times to try to cancel it. The final visit where I was able to cancel that membership, Jen was working. Thankfully, she was busy with someone else, and I was helped by Tyler Anne. Tyler Anne was absolutely amazing, I was in and out in less than 5 minutes! I was expecting a long and unpleasant experience, and I did not get that from Tyler Anne. I can see I'm not the only one on here that has had a bad experience at this location because of Jen. Maybe that should wake up the managers at Palm Beach and make a change to their staff. read more

I've spray tanned with many PBT locations on and off for years, and I've never had anyone customize ("cocktail" as I like to call it) my color like GALINA! Having a hairstylist background as I do, she knows all about natural pigment and undertones in the skin, and what additives to put into your solution to give you that perfect natural looking sub kissed tan. I thought I had my cocktail figured out until she got ahold of me. Once I was able to compare what she gave me vs what I used to get, I realize before i had too much red undertone in my solution making me look more like that stage where your sun burn is starting to turn into a tan. Second, she is great at recommending the products you will need to maintain your color. As a hairstylist I appreciate this and know the value in good product because there's no sense in getting a great spray tan when your body wash and lotion will strip it right off. Lastly, this location is just gorgeous and SO well kept. It's one of PBT's busiest locations and they keep it so clean! Every time I go in there the girls are always moving and getting everyone taken care of. Overall I highly recommend PBT, especially this location and ESPECIALLY having Galina cocktail your spray tan. read more

It is a nice facility. I had never tanned before so I didn't really know what to expect. The girl that helped us was friendly but overwhelmed by the traffic in the store. She was alone with no one to assist her. She couldn't take the time to really explain the bed or the process. I am going to give it a few more tries. It's unfortunate that a store this busy doesn't at least keep two people at the front. We are on our fourth visit to the store. It seems like it is the same story as last time. The store has a lot of traffic; especially, the people that are wanting to spray tan. My wife wanted to spray tan tonight but she was told that it was a two hour wait. When we bought our membership the person that sold it indicates that they were never this busy. It seems like the facility is really nice, the prices are fair, and everyone is friendly. They just don't do a good job of having enough staff on hand as well as the correct amount of equipment to meet the requests of the clients. read more

I have been to other palm beach tans as a spray tan customer when I lived in Inland Empire. I recently moved to Orange and went to this location Thursday. The staff was fantastic and the store is HUGE! Too bad they don't have more clothing and items geared toward men. I would like to see shirts and things for guys. This place is the worst I came here thinking it was going to be good and I was going to get really tan and really satisfied with the sessions and the quality of beds as I am an experienced Tanner however of course this place being corporate doesn't necessarily mean it's always better. I was really disappointed with the fact that the bed bulbs we're never changed I never saw any results and I basically got ripped off because the tans I did got charged $30 a tan which is absolutely ridiculous basically highway robbery in my opinion. They care more about their money then they do the actual customer. I'm really disappointed. Never will I ever tan here again and I will make sure to deter any business from going there. read more

Love the ultimate all inclusive package....and love that you can get unlimited spray tans with it, but the machine is down sometimes (happened to me once and then I overheard it happen to someone else on a different day when I was using the bed)...But I love this place because I never seem to wait long for a bed and the girls are friendly.. :-) read more
