As an avid palm beach tanner I like to check out their new salons since they have opened so many new ones recently. I visited this location today and they have the coolest new beds!! Ive always been a fan of sunangel bed except that they are twenty minutes. They have a new sunangel booth and its only 12 mins!! I havent tried their "rm 2" yet but the girls spoke very highly of it so thatll be my next bed to use!! Came in on one of the busiest days of the year, I'm sure. Fourth if July both girls at the front desk were polite and super helpful. If you've never been to a tanning salon then you may be overwhelmed with the sales pitch but get over it! That's just how it works! Just say no if your not ready for all that. Im from hawaii and even yes, even i tan. I thoroughly believe that the more my skin glows, so do I. ;) I have had memberships before at PBT, and loved it. Their system is very convenient and high tech (it's fun scanning in with my fingerprint. Like it takes James Bond security to make sure I'm the only one stealing their UV rays) This store doesn't do call ahead but they always seem free (yet busy) for me to pop in and out quickly enough. The line to check in can get long with 1 receptionist, and I run into a line almost every time and any time I come in. The process per person can be drawn out with all the awesome packages and extras they offer... and I could easily take a star down for this wait but... The girls here are ALWAYS so nice, and patient and still work personally with each customer without making you feel rushed. They seem like they knows what's going on and that's good to know about a company. I love Palm Beach Tan and they always offer great bonuses. I admit you may not always see top notch results like the pricier places (spray tan wise) but if you want consistent quality and great atmosphere and customer service that makes you feel happy to come back... come here. read more

Love the ultimate all inclusive package....and love that you can get unlimited spray tans with it, but the machine is down sometimes (happened to me once and then I overheard it happen to someone else on a different day when I was using the bed)...But I love this place because I never seem to wait long for a bed and the girls are friendly.. :-) read more

Most professional tanning salon I've ever been too! They are so sweet and kind with all your needs! Im a diamond member, so I pay around 90 dollars a month for tanning and/or mystic tan unlimited! I like the fact that they have a member of the team that makes sure all the rooms are clean, but this location is usually busy, busier than other locations I have been, also the spray tan machine is different than other locations so make sure you follow the steps on the screen attached to the spray tan machine, the worst thing about this location is that there is only one person at the reception which caused a long line of people waiting while a lady came to sign up for first time. 40 mins waiting untill the only person on the reception was done signing up the lady then started checking in the people in line, I got there at 8:16 left at 9:25 for a 5 min spray tan max. They are nice but they need to work more on the management and add more people on the reception or have someone work specially on signing up new members since it takes longer and usually first time users have tons of questions, finally I just would like to know if is it really the lotion they sell is the only one we can use or they just trying to make us buy lotion bottle for 50$ for no reason, the girl that was signing up asked "do I have to buy this specific lotion for 50$ I can't use mine" and the receptionist answered yes and gave some explanation that really didn't make any sense. Finally they give you a month to cancel your membership but what they don't tell you is that you have to go to the same location you signed up in order to cancel your membership you can't do it by phone, mail or email!! In my case I signed up while I was visiting the east coast and I'm not going back there anytime soon. So I hope they work on fixing these problems to make it a better and easier experience. I have to say that this palm beach has been my favorite salon out of the 5 locations ive been too so far. This location is great becasue it's huge and they have like 3 beds of each level so I never have to wait for a bed. Their Mystic spray tan booth is my favorite too, the girls always customize the best color combination for my skin. Overall the salon is always clean and the girls are so nice and happy, the enviornment here is mostly what makes me choose this location over the other ones. read more

They tell you that you can cancel at any time with no questions asked. I've asked to do that and no one has called me back to do so. Then they charged my card without my authorization. They don't have any type of follow up, Poor customer service and then they lie to you about what you're supposed to get. They oversell what you're supposed to get and then you never receive what you were sold. Then you try to contact corporate office and there's no one that takes phone calls you have to do it through an email system and no one gets back to you at all. Then they have an 800 number that you just leave a message at and no one returned your calls. I've contacted their orange store and then they laugh when you ask for a manager and then they will not give you their managers name. So how do you know what manager supposed to call you back if you don't have a name?Please contact your bank to stop payment on all their charges. Fraudulent company. Beware do not go! read more

I walked into PBT in Orange, CA this morning after researching spray tans for about a week, I bought the products needed to prepare for my first VeraSpaPro session off Amazon before I went in. I was greeted by Ashley who was very nice and explained everything to me in detail, which was great because I have never spray tanned before, I purchased the Diamond Unlimited membership so I can really get a feel for it. I really liked the process, I am still within my 6 hours after so I am still waiting for the final results, but I chose to go with a medium even though I probably could have gone darker due to my own natural olive skin tone. Walking into the salon was a little scary and intimidating for me at first, but Ashleys personality and kindness sent my scared feeling right out the door. Also I was afraid the place would have alot of 20/30 somethings in it and I would feel out of place, (Im 53) but that wasn't the case, when I was there people my age and younger and older came in. So glad I went. Follow-Up OK, it is now 7 pm about 8 hours since my Versa Spa Pro spray tan and I absolutely love the results. The tan is even and a very nice color. BUYER BEWARE!! My husband went in and wasn't told about any other programs but a $95. a month membership. He spoke with Danielle and said okay, sign us up but we do not want a re-occurring charge to our account- just one month of membership for both of us. Later learning they had a $14.99 plan that would of worked just fine for me. I spoke with Hailee from their corporate office and confirmed my intent to cancel and that I felt they should of offered all of their programs instead of the high pazoozie deal. My husband went back in 12/26 and confirmed with Danielle a 2nd time - no membership- cancel, we were done. On 1/3 after 2 employees knew of our distrust and our cancellation they charged our account another $192.05 for the both of us. read more

Been member for years. Tan once a week, usually early Saturday morning. Not happy now that they open at 10 am. I usually get there 30 min before store opens, as do many others. Weekly there has been an issues. Booths down. Mystic down. Versa down. I have suggested the night before to post on the door what rooms are down so those of us who wait 30 plus minutes aren't told once we get to the counter our room is down. (Waste of our time) Yesterday I arrived 1 hour before it opened. I had a tight schedule (patients to see and a company picnic). Your staff arrived 15 minutes before opening with no key. They claim they had been trying to get a key since the night before. Manager finally contacted the staff (around opening) she was on her way from Newport Beach and would be 15 minutes. (That's 15 minutes pass opening). I left without tanning. I have called Cameron twice. Last weekend and yesterday. No call back and nothing has changed. Also, more than 6 weeks ago, the staff sold me a can Sunless pre session enhancer spray which ended up being a tester, NOT A BRAND NEW CAN. They have YET to have made good on this mistake. Sorry guys......I've been patient but I'm done. I will be going in today and cancelling my membership. read more

Worst place ever. Was in town for only a week but paid for a month. Never said a word to me about a "24 hour rule" which I get, but really??? 15 minutes???? Each time I arrived, I had a bimbo in front of me who didn't know what she wanted so I had to wait and wait rather than them taking a minute to pop me into a bed. On my last day in town, I had to wait even longer than usual, which was ridiculous!!!! So I asked for a free upgrade to an available bed. What, free???? I guess the fact that I paid for a month but only was in town a week didn't matter at all to this bunch!!! Place right across the street was much better!!!!! Good bye PBT. This is THE best tanning salon I have ever been to, and I have been to quite a few all over OC. Everyone who I have ever been helped by at this location has been absolutely wonderful, warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I also love the feeling of walking into a place and have the staff members know you by name and ask how you are doing! The salon itself is just as immaculate as it's staff, always a clean & well kept as well as well stocked. The beds here are some of the best I have ever used, and prices are really quite reasonable for the quality you receive here, and prices are lower than most other membership-type salons. I really just can't say enough good things about this location, and I must mention that I am also very pleased with the other location I visit which is in Tustin on Newport Blvd, staff is awesome there as well! read more
