Great place to tan, excellent service, clean environment & friendly staff!

I have been going to Palm Beach Tan for some time now, really only because the location is convenient. I feel like I have to explain my package details to every single girl who works there because they try and charge me something different each time. I feel like they pretend to clean the rooms because I have been able to see sweat streaks after I've gone in there and I know it's not the cleaner because it smells and has dry sweat texture. I use the Mystic and versa and the last month that I've been in there they say they're cleaning it and when I go in there I'm standing in an inch of water! It's disgusting. I know that those machines clean themselves but most certainly need to be wiped down and I end up doing it myself more than half the time. Also when those machines are down I feel as though as a paying customer you should get comped and upgrade or something instead of being told to go to a different location. If I am paying for an unlimited service and your machine is down for a week at a time I'm not willing to drive to a different city, so make it worth my while for what I'm paying for or take a week off of my bill. I'm a hairdresser and have referred a lot of people to go there before I became dissatisfied and my clients have the same complaints. I have talk to management and the only person that has truly helped was Lexie and I believe she is in Happy Valley now. Currently looking to go somewhere else. read more

The tanning itself is fine, but the girls at the front however are snobby and some push way to hard on sales. I got pushed so hard into buying a lotion and after saying no thank you several times she kept going until finally I gave in just to make her stop. read more

With regard to having something stolen, I want to add that I forgot to put my nice watch on after a tan and called back a few days later when I realized what I had done. They had it for me. I was very pleasantly surprised. read more

I highly caution anyone from going to this location at Bridgeport. I agree with all of the reviews on here. I noticed, as one other person mentioned, that after I cancelled my membership I was still being charged for it. I signed the form saying that I wanted to completely cancel (not remain on stay and save), but they continued to charge me. My other issue involved the Versa tan. I also had the experience where they did not put anything in the booth and it sprayed nothing. I had to go out to the counter to have them fix it, and this was after being harassed my extremely pushy sales at the front desk. My third issue is that I am supposed to get the FREE boost when I do a spray tan, but the girl lied to me and charged me four dollars. It wasn't until I went to another salon that I was told this was NOT true. I am going to contact the owner of this salon and complain. Fourth, I was sitting in the front room waiting for my mystic when I overheard a customer ask if she had to come in every month to remain on "stay and save". The clerk dodged the question and told her she could come in every month to tan and it would be reactivated. This was not what the customer wanted to know, and it took her asking another time to get a clear straightforward honest answer, that NO you do not need to come in every month to remain on stay and save. She was being told this so that they could rope her into more sales. I found out that this particular salon is franchised, not corporate, so although they are supposed to follow the rules, they clearly do not respect their customers, but are just there for the sales. I also feel that the people at the front desk are very rude and superficial. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON or if you do QUESTION EVERYTHING. They try to deceive you. read more

Staff are great. Always upbeat and quick to get to customers at the counter. Rooms are nice and clean. Experience is wonderful.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Palm Beach Tan. The sales girl was knowledgable and able to answer all my questions about the beds and membership packages. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a large parking lot with reserved spaces just for tanners. And they offer product suggestions but aren't overly pushy about it. I will be back! read more

I would have given this location a 5 star rating in March! We just started tanning again for our upcoming vacation and was totally surprised by the change in the facility. Not good, it felt cold, dark and sterile compared to the fun atmosphere that used to prevail. The table has gone from the reception area, the vanity has disappeared from the bathroom, plants have now gone, and the walls are bare!! no waters or energy drinks in the now empty fridge..what on earth is going on here???? Thank heavens for Jamielynn - a smiling, friendly face from the past who we saw today. Not sure about most folks but my Husband and I go tanning with a vacation to look forward to and used to enjoy the experience. Now it feels as if "you get in - you get out" no warmth or fun anymore. We will not be "suspending" our membership this time, we will be cancelling unless something changes. I also know other people that come here, or rather used to and they all feel the same way. At this rate their will not be a Palm Beach Tan at Bridgeport Village. Sorry...just being honest! read more

I went in for a single spray tan today- with one other customer in the salon doing a bed tan, then a spray. So, I sat down to wait....Somehow with two employees, and only two customers they managed to double book the one spray tan booth. While one girl clearly couldn't handle the stress of having two customers, the other girl near lost her mind at the other one. This caused a conflict between the two employees, snapping at one another right in front of the two confused customers who had both been told the booth was ready for their spray tan....unprofessional, no questions asked, a serious lack of the ability to multi taski, resolve a simple conflict, or completing what should be a simple daily task (multiple times daily at a tanning salon, one would assume) without making things awkward for the *paying* customers.
