Pay for "unlimited" and be limited in how you use it. I'm trying to pair this up with my work schedule before summer hits and coachella and I went in at 1:00 pm yesterday before work.. tried to tan today at 11:00 am and she couldn't allow me.. 2 hours?... and so I'll miss a full day somewhere. Her sympathy thing was I can come back at 9 before they close, but then I would have to wait again.. till 9 pm.. no flexibility..and so I drove there for nothing, pay for unlimited to be well, LIMITED.. and I fully understand the safety reasons for waiting a day, but to not allow flexibility in regards to life schedules, they shouldn't say it's "unlimited." Another down side to this location now is their near by shop was closed and this one seems heavily busy now.. every time I have been in there is 3-4 people waiting, I can never get a lay down bed.. I signed up merely because the super sweet girl in the beginning offered a greater deal then what I usually pay.. however I'm seriously considering the rock n roll tan in Newport.. they're unlimited option is $50 less so not being able to tan as my schedule permits wouldn't feel as much as a waste. read more

I was not very happy with this location at all. I used to frequent the Tustin location off Newport ave before it closed, and generally thought that it was a very good spot. After coming to this location for a short period, I felt there were a lot of things that could be improved. When I was given my initial tour of the facility, one of the first rooms that they showed me had a folded towel and a "just cleaned" (something to that nature) sign on it, but it was obviously still very dirty so the girl took the towel and sign off and said "oops have to go back and clean that one". Which gives you an idea of the standard of cleanliness of this location. I have come a few times when they are busy, and there has usually been only one girl working, so she is rushing back and forth trying to deal with customers and cleaning the beds. Pretty sure the beds are not being immaculately cleaned as she rushes back and forth. And there are very few stand up bed options, none at the lower levels, which I would prefer for sanitation reasons. They really need to have two people working the desk in the evenings when it gets crowded. The lowest level memberships, the "silver", are very inexpensive which can get you in the door. There are 3 silver beds available with a max time of 20 minutes in this bed. You think, great 3 beds, right? NOT. While I was there, 2 out of 3 beds were "under repair", but oh wow they are offering upgrades for extra charge if you don't want to wait in line for this one available bed. Customer service is hit or miss here. When asking for info on the beds, the girl I spoke with had no clue. Some are friendly, others are very blah unless they are trying to sell you on lotion or upgrades. This place has the potential to be awesome. Good location with plenty of parking, inexpensive options with a good variety of beds. With a membership here, you can also visit the many other locations which can be very convenient. read more

This place is great, the staff is nice, the salon is super clean and most of their beds are pretty decent except for that horrible coffin one in the back. I would give 5 stars but their hours are horrible, all Palm Beach Tan locations changed them during covid and haven't returned to normal hours. Good luck going after work Mon-Fri, they close at 7 and are packed. Saturday they close at 5, Sunday they close at 2. This location is always busy, good for them bad for customers. Unless you have the luxury to go in the morning or early afternoon before 3 it's almost impossible to get a diamond or platinum level bed. Please change your hours back, I've been a customer for years and would hate to go somewhere else because of operating hours. read more

I've been a customer at this location for many years. I have to say that Brontë is a kind, knowledgeable, professional employee. She is always so welcoming. Tonight I came in and she was enrolling two new clients and professionally handling other clients who were waiting to be signed in. I witnessed one client being rude and condescending to Brontë. Brontë handled the client with class and kindness. Customer service is often times a difficult and thankless job. Brontë should be recognized for how well she handles customers including the not so friendly ones. Be careful when you get in a contract with these people. I was paying $75 a month for a spray tan membership. Every time I went in, I was paying $20 on top of the membership fee. (Which was in not way, shape, or form, disclosed to me upon the contract purchase), so I cancelled it, because there's no point in having a membership. They continued to charge me and I went in today to find out I had a $200 balance. I don't mind paying it, I just feel like this place will do anything to scam you, up-sell you, etc. KNOW WHAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR. DO NOT RELY ON THE INFORMATION THEY ARE TELLING YOU, ITS INACCURATE. After coming here, I would definitely recommend this tanning salon to anyone I know and I will be coming back. My tan has never looked better, and the consultants helped me pick out the perfect skincare products for my tan. Nick explained and helped me with my spray tan, and Austin made sure I got the absolute best discount on products I actually love to use. I really like when someone takes the time to explain how something works and they actually break it down - that is exactly what Austin did. He explained to me how all the products I got would increase my tan and also maintain it. I was very satisfied with both of these young men and their value of pleasing the customer. One of the other good things I noticed about this tanning salon was that it was really clean. I always pay attention for the aspect of cleanliness whenever I go to get any type of service done, whether it be hair, nails, waxing, or tanning. This is a key element for me to be a returning customer. I've been spraying for a while now, but this store completely won my business. WARNING DO NOT GO HERE *** I would say what they do is akin to buying a used car... They will upsell on everything, tell you that if you want to get a good tan you need the best. Nothing will work except their lotions and their best beds. Ok fine, I fall for it get what they say. I figured, well if I don't like it I can just cancel; As it says everywhere cancel anytime, 30 day money back guarantee. Well, that would be incorrect; just like a sleazy used car salesman they did not quite go over everything. You have to be charged for one month first before you can cancel... HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? AND THERES MORE! The free spray your supposed to get with your monthly membership I was told by an employee ( after I already signed up and had gone a few times) that it would do nothing to make me darker. Only if I upgraded the free session for additional 30 dollars will I really see any results. SO another lie.... and sleazy upsell move. And to top it off I usually use the stand up beds only. However sometimes they are busy and not available ok fine. However one day the wait was so long I had to do a lay down one... Not a fan of it but whatever it works and I didn't want to wait for one. I lay down, tan for the time allowed. I'm about to get out of the machine and I turn my head and notice in the corner of the bed a BUNCH OF F****ING PUBIC HAIRS! I was laying in a bed of pubic hairs.... Pretty sure when the fan kicked on it blew one in my MOUTH! I told them they said "oh sorry about that we clean them after every use"... Ummm obviously not good enough. SO in conclusion go anywhere else but PALM BEACH TAN! Went got a spray tan for 25$ and it turned out amazing ! This is by far the worst location and I've been to a few. I was excited when I moved to Tustin and this location was right across the street, but it was always a nightmare because it was always crowded and the girls push sales to hard..Not only that, but I had a membership for years and sometimes one month I wouldn't go in for a spray tan and instead of it rolling over they just take your money. I've been told multiple times by different people that I would have until the 2nd of the following month to use the tan and at this location there's this blonde girl with awful nails that was like no sorry.
