I would not recommend Palm Beach Tan. From my experience, management can be very attitude-driven, show favoritism, and target certain employees. I also witnessed employees and managers talking badly about customers after they left. The company seems more focused on pushing sales than genuinely caring about customers. I also had concerns about cleanliness, including whether beds and towels were always being cleaned as thoroughly as they should be. Very disappointed with the lack of transparency and customer service. I had a paused membership where I was paying $7 per month, which was being added to my account as credit that I paid for. After my membership was canceled, that credit disappeared. I contacted the company and was given a $22 credit, only to then discover that my account supposedly had a $56 balance which doesn't make any sense. When I asked for clarification, I was told I could use the $22 credit to pay the $56 balance, but no explanation as to why I have a bill. I have emailed the company over and over again, and still have not received a response. Getting a response has been extremely frustrating. read more

I absolutely recommend this tanning place. I used to go to Vancouver tanning and cryotherapy and they were a joke compared to palm beach tan. I pay for everything unlimited. I am a cocktail tan lover. I absolutely love doing both! I love that the spray tans you can add color and stuff to it to create your own customized spray tan. The quality of the beds are amazing. You also can customize your tanning bed experience. In the diamond prism beds You can choose your bronze setting, misters, aroma and more!! The beds are high quality for sure. I have been to both mill plain and 4th plain and the staff have been nothing but nice, professional and very knowledgeable. They are amazing! I love going to the 4th plain one especially but I do wish they would put in the prism with the red light therapy there. They do have the prism bed just not with the red light therapy. So I have to go to the one at mill plain which is fine but i vibe with the staff better at the 4th plain one. Hallie is one of the staff members at 4th plain that is especially one of my favorite staff members there. She is always nice and is great to talk to. I wish all the staff members would mix the spray tan add ons in front of you because if your like me you want to make sure your getting what your paying for and I'm a little paranoid sometimes. I cocktail tan. So I tan first then spray tan so I don't see them mix the add ons. But Haillie will mix the add ons infront of you before you go into the tanning booth and it makes me feel a lot better that I'm getting what I'm paying for! I think it's worth what I pay. No contracts as well! You can cancel anytime or you can put your account on hold for like 7 bucks a month and when you return you get all that back in tan dollars!! So it's a win win! I really hope whoever is reading this gives this place a chance! Staff is amazing, beds are amazing, products are amazing, I mean it's definitely a win full circle! Ps.this is for the owners or management of palm beach, it would be nice if you would put the diamond prism with red light therapy AND the OTHER spray tan machine that has the other steps other then the front and back steps; into the 4th plain one! SCAM! I'm visiting from out of state. Back home there isn't any franchise tanning places anywhere unless you want to hop a flight. A dear friend got me a tanning package for the month I was in town. (169.00 with the tanning lotion) GREAT! Walk in, staff is friendly and says, for 20 dollars I can upgrade my package and I decided to also pamper myself with some after care lotion. (64.00) sign the pen pad forthe transactio, no problem. (Come to find out later, it was already supposed to have been upgraded per promotion) but it's 20 bucks...no big deal. A few days later I notice an ADDITIONAL 113.00 charged to my card, and call to inquire. I get a call from a "manager," days later. Stating that the 20 dollar upgrade, upgraded my entire package so it charged me for the upgraded package. SAY WHAT? No no no, I didn't sign an additional contract, nor did I sign the initial contract. I go back in, thinking it will work itself out. I get a print out of charges and I'm asked what would make me happy. I said, I'm not worried about initial charges, and certainly not the product as I'm using it, I just want the charges removed that weren't described in the transaction. (Keep in mind I haven't even tanned but a handful of times within 2 or so weeks.) I go about my tanning and leave. Certainly, with only 4.5 weeks of tanning time, a company would understand that 346.00 is an insane amount to pay for a month of tanning! No! When I was finally contacted. The company is flat REFUSING return the fraudulent charge. They've offered to terminate my "contract," that I didn't sign, or was conned into signing, believing it was a one time charge. And will only receive "in store credit." Multiple calls later and I've been told in not as many words that the upper management doesn't care, and would only offer the exact same thing. But was also told that they would not speak directly to me and the manager refused to give a name, or contact information, email...nothing. Bad business, bad business practices. Save your money and go somewhere you get what you pay for, and NOT charged for things you never agreed to. 346 dollars for maybe 7 tans before termination. Give me a break! read more

Now it's 2 days before my wedding and I walk in to get a versa as always and they're closed to redo the floors, despite google saying they were open normal hours. Yes i admit I have been frustrated with Palm Beach Tan, but what impresses me about this company is they have gone ABOVE AND BEYOND to keep me as a customer. Most companies don't care about customer service anymore, and in the past Palm Beach tan was lacking. But now as I go into more Salons EVERY SALON greats me with a smile and the girls that work there are familiar! Which means turnover isn't what it used to be. I bought a sunless tanning package at Palm Beach tan 9 months ago. Granted, it was NINE MONTHS ago, but at the time there was no mention of an expiration date. Within a week of buying the package I found out I was pregnant. Now I don't know if there's anything *wrong* with spray tanning while pregnant, I opted not to take my chances, and refrained from using any of my tans during my pregnancy. I just had my baby and went back in this weekend to use one of my tans and was told quite rudely that my tanning package had expired. I won't be going to Palm Beach tan again... there are plenty of other tanning salons around here, anyway, that don't require a credit card or long contract just to go tanning. I had a ton of questions & she was very nice & sweet. Her outstanding customer service was above & beyond & I really appreciated her help. I've been a customer since 2012 & this is the 1st review I've done, so you can say that she had a positive impact on my entire experience. Love, love this place for getting a spray tan! The staff here are always in a good mood and super friendly. I originally came in a few months ago looking to get a one time tan for a wedding. It ends up being more cost effective to buy a bundle of tans to use over the course of 90 days so I did that. I ended up loving come here so much that I blew through my tans quickly and joined as a member month to month. You can use your membership at any Palm Beach Tan in the country and during my vacation I stopped by at locations in Phoenix, Arizona and Omaha, Nebraska. I think the main thing about this place is that the staff makes me feel incredibly welcome when I come in. No thank you I go tanning to relax also to get in and out 30 minutes or less and its becomes so stressful at the counter I would rather be at Walmart on a sat afternoon after the 1st of the month!!!! I have tanned here in the years past today was the first time I had been back in a while I just happen to be in the area it wasn't very busy and I found Marissa the associate working to be very informative not high pressure sales but more of a advocate in an educational aspect. I never like lotion but she had me try a lotion which I fell in love with it did not make my skin greasy and I actually smelled like a man. I did a seven-minute 10 and the experience in general was excellent I would highly recommend this location and more specifically Marissa as the sales associate. read more

Palm Beach Tan reached out to me and was so concerned that I had a bad experience with their business. Mandy was super nice and in fact, this is where I will be going in the future. I am giving Palm Beach Tan 5 stars - The following is what I originally wrote, but it applies to TAN REPUBLIC, not Palm Beach: I came in with a Groupon and then paid to upgrade, so spent about $45+ for what I thought was a number of sessions. Turns out it was for 1 month membership, which I don't believe that was the way it was communicated to me. I couldn't go in for over a month because of a personal issue. Brady was great every time I went in. I just cancelled today because there was allegedly a "billing problem" on my automatic withdrawal from monthly funds. I went in to tan and instead of trying to fix the problem the two women up front talked over me and didn't seem to care about listening to me, just trying to get more money in the till. I offered to update any billing Info they needed, as the error processing was on their end. They told me they wouldn't waive the measly charge. I gave multiple chances to try to fix the problem together but they didn't care about my time or my business. This is supposed to be a simple place to tan since I workout at 24 but outside of Brady, this has been more hassle than it is worth. Perception is everything. Everything. I'd be happy to discuss this review and hopefully change my mind about this place if someone wants to treat my time in a valuable way. read more

Do not use for spray tan unless you have skin like Snow White! I bought 3 spray tan package to try this location out. I used Mystic and Versa and NOT on level 1. I used my 1st tan on Mystic -m next day really no color. I went the next day told them no color so tried Versa. Second tan barely noticable again! I use my 3rd spray on 3rd day and PAY extra for the higher level of color (an additional $6.50-$11) and I look like I used my own Neutrogena can spray one time! Front desk staff tried to upsell me on special lotion blah blah blah. Give me a break- I have spray tanned for years and NEVER had to be upsold to a higher color or use special lotion! (And yes I did not shower for over 6 hrs for ample time to develop!) To go 3 days in a row, pay extra and now have to use my own home spray to get enough color to go on my vactation is ridiculous! And no I am not looking for "Jersey Shore" tan but I'd like to look like I have a tan! I have medium skin color and tan easily so unless you are very pale don't waste your money. I will NOT be back. Their membership fits my needs so well because I can put my account on hold if I am not using it and I can downgrade or upgrade if I want to!
