Food and service were very good. Not great on ambience but it is a diner. Prices are great.

Came by with a couple of friends on their recommendation (who are not foodies) for dinner last weekend. Upon entering the place was packed and the folks there seemed to be enjoying their meals! We were seated immediately and our server Tina was very attentive and helpful. As a matter of fact, it was Tina who made the night decent. One of our group ordered the fish and chips which he enjoyed, the other ordered the Gyro platter, which did not look that appetizing. The wifey and me both ordered the chicken pita with fries. We both found our dinners to be underwhelming. The tomatoes in my pita tasted over ripe and the smell off the course pieces of onions was very strong. The cons were that the prices were fair, the place was clean, the decor was that off a classical diner! The service was excellent thanks to Tina! Have visited for breakfast six times now. The breakfast specials are a very good value. Quality ingredients, very good preparation. And of equal importance, consistently good. Service is ok, a bit spotty - great food at a value price overcomes that in my evaluation. read more

First off you need a sense of humor and you can't be too sensitive if you're going to eat at this place. This place has a very NY NJ in your face, sometimes even rude attitude. Usually very busy and loud. Many of the customers could easily be on an episode of Seinfeld or any older northeastern big city ethnic comedy. Remember that word "old". The food generally big portions of homeade flavorful food. Lots of greek, Italian, jewish and Mediterranean food choices. Big breakfast choices also. The food was very good and tasty. I had the 2+2+2, ( 2 pancakes,2 eggs, cooked your way and 2 bacon or sausage. I had a small bowl of grits, and a large OJ with the meal. The service good. The ambiance was great also. The last time I had the grits, it was a little undercooked , but this time the grits was very good! read more

Unless you have dead taste buds, I would avoid this diner. There are much better diners, even IHOP! not too far from here. I don't know how you mess up, scrambled egg, pancake, and bacon but they have managed! My waitress had no personality at all and attempted to upsell me off of the breakfast special then seemed annoyed that I wanted less food. When I went to pay, the woman at exit I got even more of an attitude who I'm guessing is the manager or owner told her I didn't like the food did not offer not even one dollar discount then asked me if I wanted to leave a tip. Went there today August 7,2025 for lunch, our waitress was named Tina, she was very Polite, brought us Menus immediately, got us some beverages, then she explained the Lunch Menus to us, We ordered an Appetizer& Lunch, Tina; waitress was efficient about bringing us the Appetizer 1st, the After we ate our Appetizer, she brought out our lunches. This is a typical diner that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day with a Greek twist. The menu is pretty complete with soup, salad, sandwiches, and a big variety of breakfast food. I dined here for lunch and it was not too crowded so I could choose between a booth or table. The restaurant itself was overall clean but could use to repaint and redo the carpet because it looked very dated. Our server was half deaf and in my opinion too old to be a server and messed up the order because of his hearing deficit and then argued with me that I ordered different than what he thought. The Greek Gyro wrap with salad on the side is different than the Greek Salad with Gyro meat. Basically he took my food back into the kitchen and took it out of the wrap and served it back to me. Thankfully I wasn't charged for the salad because the salad is much larger. Portion size was good for the price. My husband ordered the Tuna Melt with Swiss and it was served at room temperature with cheese that wasn't melted. He said that the tuna was plentiful and very fresh. Overall i like this place and service. Food is good with good portions. Nice selection of Dr. Browns soda; Place does get crowded but we went around 4pm and no problem getting seated. The service was great at Palm Diner. Our server by the name of Krystal was on top of everything pertaining to our needs, as well as the other customers she had, and made it look easy. We tried a variety of things and the verdict is in: 1) stick with typical brunch/breakfast 2) not a fan of the Italian me a items. Four of us came here for dinner and this place was hopping even though it was after 7pm. We were seated promptly but server took a little time to greet us...nothing extremely long though. The three others ordered the 1/2 chicken dinner and all got different sides. Hubby said the French fries were blazing hot (temperature) and mother-in-law presumably liked the mashed potatoes as she ate those first. I tried a bite of chicken and it was one of the best grilled chicken I have ever had at restaurant. I ordered grilled fish with green beans and rice pilaf. I thought I ordered grouper but maybe it was tilapia. Doesn't matter - I like both. My meal was served about a minute after the chicken entrees and it was piping hot! Green beans were probably from frozen but didn't care as they were not crisp. Pilaf as was good. Surprise at end and desert was included with meal - I got baklava, which was great! read more

He chose their Greek omelet -- three eggs with feta, onions, and tomatoes. It came with a choice of bread (he got their last "everything" bagel) and either hash browns or home fries (he did the hash). The omelet was very good, the hash browns just ok, and the bagel great (it came with cream cheese; butter was on the table). I started with a cup of Greek lemon soup -- a good lemony version served hot. And then had a lightly toasted bagel (no rye so got pumpernickel) with nova (lox) and cream cheese. There was a lot of lox on the plate (I took half home). Besides the food being good, I couldn't believe their prices! So reasonable (guess that why they were packed?). The menu is large.
