Family owned Greek restaurant in Boynton with a great atmosphere looks straight from Mykonos. If you speak Greek, then you'll be right at home as it seems almost everyone was speaking. All of the food here was fresh, I especially enjoyed the pitas and hummus and the Greek salad...so good! I wasn't so thrilled with the chicken skewers I got so next time I'd try something else.

As usual, we had a wonderful dinner on Saturday evening at our go-to place. This time we ordered the dinner for two for $90 which included a Bronzino filet , octopus, 2 skewers of shrimp, broccoli rabe, lemon potatoes and two Calimare fish. Unreal! We also treated ourselves to two cappuccinos and their luscious orange cake with a little bit of ice cream on the side. It was a fabulous dinner and we were certainly full and had doggy bags for another night. Service was fabulous because Leo was our waiter. We sat outside on the patio. It was so delightful. I can't say enough good things about souvlaki Grill. It's authentic Greek food in a beautiful setting with great service!

The menu offers great choices beyond the souvlaki! I enjoyed the vegetable pastichio which had amazing fresh ingredients with a delicious bechamel sauce. And i tried the saganaki for the first time-also a fantastic taste, although they don't put in ablaze. The three-course luncheon menu is especially attractive. Sometimes they are short-staffed, but it is worth being patient.

This was a spur of the moment decision to go there for dinner. My husband and I was figuring out whether to go to Boynton or Lake Worth. We decided to check it out since we haven't had Greek food in a while. Thankfully, we made a reservation and got seated promptly since it was packed. Our waiter came over and was very personable. He assisted us with what questions we had about the menu. I went for the Kalamaki plate and it had pork, chicken, and shrimp skewers with Greek fries. It was very good and plentiful. I couldn't finish all of it since I didn't want to burst..lol. They surprised us with a rice pudding dessert to share. The staff and the service was excellent. The manager came by and checked to see if we enjoyed our food and thanked us for coming in. The ambiance definitely feels like you're in Greece. Maybe one day...fingers crossed ;)

I was meeting up with a friend for dinner and I'm so glad i was smart enough to book us a reservation in advance because when we got there it was PACKED. It seemed a bit crammed at times for some of the waiters to get by so just beware. We are both on a health journey currently so Mediterranean seemed like a good choice. They had great reviews on google too. I ordered the Avgolemono soup and the Mussels. I would've ordered the soup twice because that's how good it was! The mussels were ok. They gave us complimentary pita bread with regular hummus and that was tasty. The inside definitely makes you feel like you're right in the heart of Greece. Beautiful aesthetics and a nice sized bar. I'd definitely recommend anybody to try this spot out if you're looking for some low calorie options!

Love Souvlaki Grill in Boynton Beach. Their location is super close to my home so whenever I'm feeling Greek food I just drive over. I love it because they are on UberEats, GrubHu, and Resy! So if you have an Amex you can hit three birds with one stone. I order the Chicken Souvlaki Pita (see picture below) EVERYTIME I go here and it always hits the spot. The service is always amazing and the vibes are on point. They have live music every time I come in (which is randomly, but I think they have live music at least three times a week.)

I went out to dinner here with a group of friends on Friday evening around 5. We didn't have a reservation but got a table right away. By the time we left, around 6:30, the place was very crowded even though they have lots of seating so I would recommend having a reservation. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which was perfect for a fall evening. We appreciated that they have high chairs for toddlers too. We ordered a bunch of food which came with deliciously soft pita bread. My favorite was the Greek burger. It comes out medium and is stuffed with feta. It is tasty, juicy, and so flavorful. Everyone loved the dishes they got, and all the food came out pretty quickly. Even the 1-year-old was scarfing down all the food. He especially liked the meatball appetizer dish. I was visiting from out of town but I can see why this place is one of my local friend's go-to spots. The place is very cute and makes you feel like you're in Greece.

Excellent authentic Greek food. We had early reservations with another couple on New Years Eve. We started out with some appetizers, cocktails and beer. I wasn't a fan of the meatballs., but the 3 hummus spread and the Greek salad was delicious. My wife's cocktail was also delicious, and my Greek beer was great. This used to be an Italian restaurant a few years back, huge parking lot in the back, they did a great job with renovations. My wife ordered the lamb shank , I ordered the lamb chops, and we also had steak kabobs. Seriously maybe the best chops I have had. They also had a live singer perform, she was great, not sure if its something they normally do or if it just for special occasions. Overall a great dining experience for all 4 of us .

Excellent location in the canyons shopping plaza. Really cute inside all open restaurant. The salmon was amazing big thick pieces. The complementary hummus and pita was the best I've ever had anywhere. The service was great. The prices are fair. If you like Greek food you should go there.

    SAGANAKI

My parents and I dined here on a whim on a Saturday. We were lucky and we didn't have to wait. The dining room is really pretty, but it was really loud and they had music blasting. Despite it being hot, we opted to sit outside, which wasn't too bad since they have fans. We ordered saganaki for an appetizer. It was a little untraditional. Instead of being flambéd at the table, it was deep fried. It was good, but it was a little heavy and greasy. They also brought us complementary pita and hummus. I would've preferred for the pita to be a little bit warmer. The hummus was delicious and fresh. We also ordered taziki, which was good but nothing special. It was a little thicker than I like. For entrees, we ordered a traditional moussaka, a vegetarian moussaka and a salad. The vegetable moussaka was tasty and the texture was great. I've just had better moussaka. The salad was my favorite dish. It was simple and the dressing was delicious. The service was also pretty decent. Our waitress continued to refill our water throughout the meal. She did seem a little stressed and she forgot our receipt, but considering how busy it was, she did a good job. Overall, the food was good. I've just been spoiled with better Greek food.

I scratched out server and number because that person had nothing to do with what happened.

We had a group of six everybody placed their order when the server came and called out each order. There was one order left, which was mine and he said the Pita I'll call that sandwich with extra feta. Our waitress was right there. I said I didn't order extra feta, In fact I didn't order any at all on my sandwich. She said in front of everybody don't worry I'll take a dollar off. I found that to be not only embarrassing in front of all my friends, but more so rude, disrespectful, and lack of customer service. How dare you make an insinuation that I can't even afford a dollar this person needs to be retrained and learn how to have common customer service without an attitude. I won't mention her name, for this reason myself and five others will NOT be back. And just one other thing when ordering a pita sandwich some restaurants it comes with fries inside and others on the side I particularly don't wanna eat french fries inside my sandwich or a burrito, etc. to me It's just a filler, but at least have it on the side. for some reason I've never heard of it but if you don't want it in your sandwich, at least give it to your customer on the side. They're already paying for it.

Went here with another couple last night. Last time here was about a year ago. We were seated promptly and the place was busy. Our waiter didn't have complete grasp of English and messed up our drink orders, but they were corrected. We shared 2 Greek salads for our table of 4 and they were very good. Only problem was it doesn't include lettuce. For mains my wife had the steak kabobs and loved it. Her friend had the chicken kabobs and also loved it. Nice portion and each comes with a side. My buddy and I shared the mixed grill for 2 which was plentiful. Much more than 2 of us could eat and very good.

First time at this Greek spot for a business lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised. We shared hummus and calamari, and everything we tried was solid. My salmon was full of flavor, and sampling a few bites from other dishes made me a fan of Greek food. The restaurant is a nice place for groups, friends, or a casual night out. Service was a bit disorganized since they were training new staff, but they were courteous, and the food made the wait worthwhile.

Tonight six of us met here for dinner. We arrived before 6:00 and waited only a few minutes for a table. When we left there was a line outside. When we were seated we were given water & a garlic spread with warm fresh pita. We all shared babaganosh & generous delicious dips. My husband & I shared a gyro salad with lots of grilled lamb, more than enough for us both. Others enjoyed greek chicken salad, shrimp with pasta, and spanakopita. Everyone brought leftovers home, enough for a few meals. Happily we weren't rushed.

As a Greek (and former chef), I was genuinely excited after about ten people insisted this was "the spot" when I moved to Delray Beach. So naturally, I came in expecting something remotely...Greek. Quick reality check for fellow reviewers: 1.Have you ever actually been to Greece? Not the airport. Not a cruise stop. I mean eaten real Greek food. 2.Do we all agree on what goes into a Greek salad and a proper gyro, or are we just improvising at this point? Because what I saw felt more like a creative writing exercise than a recipe. 3.If your rating is based on portion size, then yes, congratulations, you got a lot of food. But let's not confuse quantity with authenticity (or quality). That's how we end up with 4.6 stars. I won't even get into presentation, because that would require there being something recognizable to present. This place would have been closed in a week in NYC! If this is your introduction to Greek food, I apologize on behalf of an entire country.

It was filled with people enjoying incredible food, and you could tell this place was a local favorite. Of course, I had to start with one of their Greek beers, served in a traditional beer mug, which was the perfect way to kick off the meal. We also ordered the tzatziki and hummus sampler, and I'm so glad we did. The flavors were unbelievable, and they were incredibly generous with the warm pita bread. Honestly, I ate so much of the sampler that by the time it came to order my entrée, all I could manage was a piece of grilled chicken. Even then, I found myself dipping the chicken into the hummus and tzatziki because they were just that good. I left completely full, happy, and even had leftovers to take home. The staff was fantastic--everyone worked together seamlessly, helping one another and making sure every table was taken care of. It created such a welcoming atmosphere. I went with the Falafel and Eggplant Pita Wrap, ordered exactly as it comes -- five crispy handmade falafels, roasted eggplant, hummus, tomato and cucumber salad, purple cabbage slaw, white onions, tomatoes, pickles, and lemon tahini sauce. What I loved about the presentation was how they sliced the pita and stuffed the toppings inside the pocket, then placed the eggplant and falafel on the outside before wrapping everything up tightly. It made for a much easier, cleaner eat -- no toppings tumbling out with every bite! My first bite was amazing. The fresh flavors really shined, the falafels were perfectly crispy, and the eggplant had that deep, savory roasted flavor. Every topping complemented the others beautifully, and I walked away completely satisfied. I am so happy I found this fast and healthy option close by! The customization is extensive without feeling overwhelming, and everything looked fresh and well maintained. I went with the falafel bowl, built over rice and lettuce, and one standout detail was that they offered three different rice options. I chose the lentil rice, which had excellent flavor and added a nice depth to the bowl. All of the toppings, condiments, and add-ons tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The falafel itself was satisfying, and the overall meal felt balanced--filling without being heavy. It gave that ideal healthy, energized feeling rather than leaving me sluggish afterward. I usually ate here at least twice a month or more for six years. And brought guests constantly . The food was always well prepared and at a reasonable price. The owner was always very friendly. BUT I will never again go back to Sofra after my experience last night. Last night I went with a couple of people that I had raved about this restaurant to. The owner, who certainly must've recognized me from the countless times I've eaten there in five years, barely grunted at me and the vibes I got from him were not very welcoming. He seemed really angry about something and was taking it out on his customers. There was only one other table that had customers and this was a Friday night. I found that really odd because other restaurants surrounding Sofra had lots of people sitting outside eating at their restaurants I ordered a falafel plate and others at our table ordered the İskender and another entrée. I practically passed out when I got the bill because I guess I didn't check the prices when I was ordering. The falafel plate, which was basically a spoonful of salad, a spoonful of rice, a few hard burned falafel, soup and a dribbling of tahini was $33. This is obscene. When this restaurant first opened they were charging for the same plate $15 and then they went to $25 after a few years which I thought was pretty high for the food we were getting but $33 is just plain greedy. I won't even do a review on the other two entrées because my party could barely eat them. I now see why there was nobody, literally nobody in this restaurant on a Friday night. And the owner, what happened to him? he used to be such a friendly guy and now he is just an angry man. The waitress never went back to check on us and refill our water after taking our order. Despite only two tables with customers in this restaurant. I read some of the reviews where owner says he hates the fucking country so why doesn't he just leave? There's plenty of really good Mediterranean restaurants that are not going to charge this kind of money for Mediterranean food. Even if the felafel was the best falafel I've ever eaten in my entire life - $33 is crazy. And it was not very good felafel - in fact all the food is mediocre. Where it once was amazing. So my suggestion to the owner is to lower his prices, improve the quality of his food and improve his attitude

They have some small two top tables inside and a couple high tops outside. They had a board with lunch specials on it. But we wound up ordering from their regular menu. I got the moussaka and he got pasticchio. Both dishes came with a very generously sized Greek salad and warm pita wedges to start. The salads had tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, onions, pepperoncinis, and romaine lettuce topped with feta cheese and dressing. There was also a small rice stuffed grape leaf -- cut in half. The salad could have been a meal in itself. The moussaka was layered egg plant and potatoes with a ground beef filling topped with cinnamon béchamel sauce. The pasticchio is the Greek version of lasagna but with elbow macaroni. Both portions were quite filling. I ate my dish and he brought half of his home. He was saving room for dessert. For dessert, he had galaktoboureko which is a custard filled pastry topped with simple syrup. He said it was good, but it would have been better if warmed. Or at least if the syrup was warm. We had very good service. If you like Greek food and are in the area, this is a good place to try. Large portions at reasonable prices.
