I very rarely get take out for dinner. By rarely I mean never. However, I had a very busy day and as I drove home I realized there was no way I was cooking. I decided after driving past Souvlaki Fast at least three times daily, I would take the dive and finally place an order. I called them and was able to place my order in under 5 minutes! It was incredible. Fast, easy, and friendly. I ordered a chicken gyro and a lamb gyro with two regular size fries and no drink. Said farewell, see ya soon! My food was ready by the time I arrived. The actual restaurant is very cute. Clean, organized, and easy to navigate. Once again, I was done in under 5 minutes!!!!! Amazing. The real test would be the quality of the food after driving to pick it up then home. I must say they passed with flying colors !!!!!! My food was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly, and seasoned to perfection. The fries were out of this WORLD!!!! The only bummer was there was no tzatziki sauce, but to be fair I didn't ask. I arrived at approximately 8:36 PM with my mother, who recently underwent surgery and has significant difficulty walking. By the time I reached the counter to place our order at 8:42 PM, the employee abruptly informed me that we could not eat inside because they were closing shortly. It is important to note that the establishment does not close until 9:00 PM. When I asked if we could simply sit at the outdoor tables to eat, the employee rudely refused, stating he would be putting the chairs up. Souvlaki Fast is one of many establishments on One Boynton. It's a casual spot with lots options! There is some seating inside and one or two tables outsides. First, I had the falafel pita. The pita was stuffed to the brim. I really liked the falafel inside which was soft and flavorful. It was missing some crunch, though. The hummus was perfect to combine everything together. I also tried the Greek burger. The patty was very soft and was packed with black pepper. It comes with feta cheese, veggies, and a side salad. There was a bit too much feta for my liking. But I balanced it out with more bites of the salad. Overall, I was mostly satisfied with everything and would go back to try more things. I'm curious to see how their lamb gyro tastes. read more

I understand this is a chain, and I'm not sure of it's a corporate thing or a franchise situation so I have to limit my comments ti this location. There are some good things to be said about getting takeout from this particular Souvlaki Fast. It's pretty close to my office, the prices are decent, and they don't skimp when it comes to stuffing your pita. Unfortunately, the lack of care they put into their product is obvious. The cold meat was the perfect place to hide my underdone potatoes, which were also cold. Not impressed. read more

Solid Beef and Lamb Gyro that we often get for their special on Friday. Its big and its a great deal and quite good. Have also gotten the Gyro platter which is solid. Only thing is their website doesnt work so its kind of difficult to order unless you have a previous menu or have been there already and know what you want. I have to say I was so surprised by the BAD quality of the chicken gyro I got from Souvlaki Fast today. A friend took me to pick up lunch since I just had eye surgery and can cook much at home. I ordered two gyro specials, one chicken and one lamb/beef. As I never tried the chicken gyro at this place I decided to give it a try...it was a HUGE. Mistake! When I got home the container was all wet, almost no onions and little chicken. However, my problem was that there wasn't ANY FLAVOR in the chicken meat, I almost thought it was not cooked... no flavor and for sure it wasn't cooked in the vertical rotisserie. It seemed the put juices from the tomatoes inside the gyro....the bread absorbed most of the tomato juice... it was disgusting. It was like a tomato gyro! The reason that I'm 3 starts instead of 1, is because I have a regular, my husband usually pick up when we want some fast Greek food, few weeks ago we had a delicious Greek salad with gyro meat, have had plates that were also good. However I'm sorry to say, their chicken is not good. Maybe was a bad day or who knows. I called and let them know, just to let them know that if I could have drive I would have taken back and get a refund. The woman on the phone just said I'm sorry! Veggies were NOT greek style. The meat was okay but not marinated correctly. Pita sucked. Portion size ridiculous for the 10 dollar price. Staff shoves that giant screen wanting that um...20-25% effing tip?!?! For what? For my takeout food? I gave them nothing after giving up on modifying the screen amount. Won't be back. Very sad. Reading some bad reviews of this location-I'm compelled to add. I live less that 2miles away and order almost the same thing all the time now, excluding some things, adding others. There's been one problem out of 100+ orders? And, we've ordered from this location (next door neighbors too) upwards of 6+ years. I remember when our power was out then, after a hurricane/they were doing their own deliveries too! Fast forward to now and contracted deliveries...That employee is still working at this location. ALWAYS a pleasure to deal with. And Fast. Whose prices haven't gone up minimally in 6 years? They charge a card fee, for extra tziki, etc. Most importantly, the food is great! Beef and lamb, salad, chicken, all great. Veggies and salad fresh, Lemon Potatoes good too. My favorite spinach pie is now a double order for a slight price increase in 2021. The one problem was a few years ago when I got home, opened the box and Spie was burnt. I called immediately & took a photo and talked to the manager. They kept asking me if I bunt it? Walked into Souvlaki Fast on a Saturday afternoon and ordered a falafel platter (which comes with a Greek salad, hummus, choice of rice or fries and pita bread) and a gyro pita (comes with choice of rice or fries and a drink as a combo). Starting off: this is not really a sit down restaurant and definitely a fast-food style place. The food was much better than fast food at good prices. The gyro pita was huge and the meat was delicious as is their pita bread and tzatziki sauce. I upgraded my fries to Greek fries and they had just a little feta on them but were delicious. My salad could definitely have had more robust lettuce and only came with a single olive but it was good at the price point. We also ordered some rice pudding that unfortunately did not get eaten because the rice was undercooked. Our whole meal was under $30 for 2 and there were leftovers for the next day! The falafel balls were a little too big so they ended up undercooked in the center but the gyro pita had so much meat that I ended up stealing some meat from the pita to enjoy with my salad. read more

I was delighted by my experience(s) here. I tried the spinach pie (spanakopita) and it tasted wonderful. The tzatziki sauce is great. I was even more delighted by my experience trying the gyro pita. I ordered 50/50 chicken and beef/lamb combo. An abundance of meat! I was impressed by the quantity and flavor. ITuesdays and Friday's the gyro pitas are 5.99- great deal. But I will admit it is a bargain even at regular price. The service was fast. Excellent baklava portion and taste for a great price- $3. I look forward to returning. All Greek food is wonderful when done even reasonably well, but the crew here does an EXCEPTIONAL job. I got the 1/4 roasted chicken with a salad for lunch and it was so perfect I could cry. I had to come and see for myself but I have to admit, my first visit to Souvlaki Fast was a great one. I haven't had falafel since leaving NY 30 years ago. I ordered the falafel on a pita with the fixings. It was love at first bite!! The falafel could have been eaten by itself with the veggies. I'll be requesting extra sauce to go along with the falafel. The place is very clean and you can tell the cooking is done with care and love by the mom and son that are behind the counter. Very disappointed in service here today. We go to this shop once or twice a week for their delicious gyro. Today, I called to place and order no less than 7 times in a 30 minute period. You see, they have a special price on their gyro twice a week, but you can't place an order online and get the special. Each time, I called today, I was put on hold and ultimately (after five minutes, then two minutes, then ten minutes....) hung-up on. In between, sometimes I would just get an AT&T message that the number wasn't working. I drove over to the shop in Boynton, and it was very busy inside, too much so in these Covid days. I walked in to place an order, and I turned around and walked out. No-one was managing crowds or making sure that people weren't smashed together. People were trying to stay apart, but the shop is too small. Took me an hour to not get an order....and another hour to find an alternate gyro restaurant. Bummer. read more

Souvlaki Fast has fully embraced shrinkflation, pumping up those prices and measuring out their ingredients with a thimble - beware all those who are hungry and think that surely $25 worth of food ought to fill you up, not here mis amigos, not here. It's run by high school kids who's impeccable attention to detail results in missing order items 4/5 times (I've ordered from here 5 times, 4 times an item was missing lol). Sadly or maybe not so sadly I think 5 tries is enough for me at this particular establishment.
