I visited on April 10, 2026, and from the moment I walked in, the entire team created an atmosphere that felt organized, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely warm. Erick, the manager on duty, stood out immediately. He was clearly making sure everything and everyone was running the way it should, and he did it while juggling more than one responsibility at once. That kind of leadership is easy to notice when a place is busy. He brought steadiness to the whole environment, and it showed in how smoothly the team worked together. Gabe was the first person who greeted me when I walked in, and he set the tone right away. He began my order with professionalism and ease, and within seconds of me choosing the chicken shawarma, he was already thoughtfully suggesting a protein upgrade. It was a small moment, but it showed confidence, product knowledge, and real customer awareness. He made the beginning of the experience feel smooth and engaging. Kolby also deserves real recognition. She was standing behind Gabe and grilled my chicken shawarma while keeping her composure in the face of two difficult and frankly annoying customers who were ahead of me. That alone said a lot. She seemed newer, at least from my perspective, but she looked fully up to the task. She carried herself with calm, patience, and quiet competence, which is not always easy to do when customers are testing the atmosphere for everybody else. Jawad stepped in seamlessly and continued my order once Gabe had to hand things off to take care of other arriving guests. He handled my vegetables and kept everything moving without missing a beat. That kind of teamwork makes a big difference because it keeps the guest experience from feeling disjointed. It all felt coordinated, efficient, and natural. Natalie completed the experience beautifully. She was the friendly, gentle cashier who checked me out with a genuinely heartwarming smile. She answered my questions, made me feel comfortable, asked whether I wanted some baklava, and sold me on how good it was. She was absolutely right, because I ended up leaving with one. At that point, resistance was pointless. She closed out the whole interaction with warmth and charm, and that matters. As for the food, I ordered a base of lentils and rice with chicken shawarma, topped with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and olives, along with house sauce. It was excellent. Fresh, flavorful, satisfying, and exactly what I was hoping for. Everything came together really well. What made this visit special was the complete cycle of service. Each person contributed something distinct, and together they created an experience that felt personal, thoughtful, and memorable. OliveU should be proud of this team. I'm giving this a 3 solely because of the false advertising of the chicken. The store is clean and staff was nice portions were large and veggies were fresh. But the way they handled the flat top which was how they cooked the meat was bad. My husband ordered the chicken shawarma and I ordered the chicken. They put them both on the flat top. The use a seasoning shaker. I'm very sensitive to herbs and they were almost on top of each other. Had I known this I would have never gotten the chicken. I guess they just reheat all the meats on the flat top. I just wish they weren't so close. I will go back. Just for a veggie plate maybe... read more

Hi! I've eaten at this location twice & I love it! . Kayla is so thoughtful in regards to the recommendations she makes and her and Eric are so friendly as soon a someone walks through the door. He followed up with me at the table to confirm how my meal was which was so sweet. The food is FRESH and the place is clean. Shopping can make people hungry. We hit up Olive U on a break to recharge before hitting the next round of stores. The place is very clean and everything is made to order. I got the chicken lentil rice bowl topped with parsley and feta cheese. It was delicious and flavorful. The portion was enough to fulfil me for the rest of the day. The staff was very helpful with our orders and made our bowls how we wanted them. It costs more what we expected for the portions we received and we were underwhelmed by it. Eating healthy shouldn't come with a high price, but we have no control over it. read more

My first time in an Olive U. This fast food chain seems to be popping up in a lot of shopping centers. It offers bowls or wraps in pita with a Middle Eastern theme. You order at the counter. I tried the baba ghannooj. It was a decent sized serving, creamy and smokey. For my main, I had the Olive U chicken on a salad. The salad is a bed of greens with as many of the toppings as you want. On offer were pickled peppers, pickled cabbage, tomatoes, onions, olives, cucumber, and a variety of dressings. The ingredients were all fresh. The protein portion seemed skimpy. It also came with some warm pita slices. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating. Beverages are Pepsi brand. read more

Loved this fast casual restaurant. It is clean with a modern vibe including music which was fun without being too loud. The menu included the classic Greek/ Mediterranean favorites like baba ganough,humus, grape leaves which can be ordered separately or in an appetizer plate. I ordered the appetizer plate which includes fresh pitas and selection humus which can be mixed and matched and I was glad I did. It's easy to order and they have nice takeout containers . I have been wanting to try Olive U for a while and now that it's in one of my favorite shopping center with Whole Foods, Sephora and mister 01 I suggested we get to know this spot. They have a huge beautiful chandelier and it's a new location so very clean. I enjoyed what I got but I guess I am responsible for the choices I made when ordering and I ended up not having much food in my final plate and not satisfied. Their signs are not great. If hummus is my base I need more than one spoon. I also couldn't see the chicken in the plate. Other places give me way too much of the protein but this was not enough. The flavor was excellent. Their bases are the pita bread, rice, salad or hummus. Chopped salad, hummus, cut up pita are also toppings so you could add them. I don't think they allow you to add a little rice if you don't get it as a base but I couldn't hear anything the employee was saying. I chose hummus, chicken and then the toppings I liked. I didn't know I could get a side of pita, probably extra toppings of the ones I liked, grape leaf for a small fee, (on the board it's listed as appetizer for $6) At the end I got a half plate of food for $15. I was still hungry of course. She then handed me my tray with my bowl on it and the side of the tray was dirty with some green sauce and my white shirt got a huge green stain. If I would do it again. I would choose the rice or salad and add my protein chicken, toppings, extra hummus x 2 for a few, pita to share for a fee, and the dressings. That could be a full plate for $17. Really happy that Olive U opened up near my home. Ever since I moved from Boca to Lake Worth I would keep saying I wish there was an Olive U over here! Their food is always consistent so I know exactly what I'm going to get every time. I've been a handful of times since they've opened and I'm kind of shocked it's not as busy as the Boca locations, but it's probably because people don't know about it yet. Wanted a fresh flavorful protein bowl with healthy whole foods... my Mediterranean Chicken Bowl here was maybe the best I have had. Ever. Rice and lentils, chicken grilled to order, tomatoes, onions, Kalamata olives, tzatziki and house sauce. Side of cilantro lime hummus and pita. Delish!! Ample portion size for the money! And the guy with the ponytail bun was great welcoming us in and helping us with our order and the girl ringing us up was super friendly and kind. Both were very professional. it was clean however they told me the chicken is just reheated not cooked fresh when you order ! For 8 ounces it was 17.95 and they don't even give you a pita ! Let's start with the service, excellent let's continue with the food... It is all made fresh. First you pick your base they have choices of rice, pita or salad. Then you pick your protein, Gyro, chicken Shawarma, grilled chicken, tofu, and they might be missing a few. You can taste them before you order it. Then you move onto all of the toppings. And they also have a selection of hummus. I have taken hummus home and it's a great snack. They're fabulous. I am not going to lie. I was never really a fan of Mediterranean, but this was a wonderful experience. I've been back again within the same week. Do your taste buds a flavor and try it out. And by the way, the restaurant itself is very clean and very well maintained. It has a wonderful ambience where you can just sit and do work or bring your family. We tried this last weekend and were impressed with the freshness of the food, the great customer service, and the cleanliness of this restaurant. I had a falafel salad. The falafel was freshly made but a little dry. A bit disappointing with the actual falafel but I'm picky. the salad was delicious and huge. There were many options of salads toppings and sauces which make each order completely unique to your own taste. My son had the gyro bowl and he's been begging me to go back there ever since. The quality and freshness of the food are consistently excellent, and we've actually tried just about everything on the menu. We love the cilantro lime hummus! My kids are obsessed with the rice bowls. Whether it's tofu or gyro, they always leave happy. My go-to is the chicken bowl with all the toppings, including the spicy feta. Everything is so flavorful and satisfying! The staff is always super friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is clean every time we visit. I just had a wonderful experience at the new Olive U in Boynton Beach! I had just come from the gym and wanted something healthy, fresh and affordable and had never tried this restaurant. This is located in the new shopping center by Whole Foods- parking was super easy, and as I entered the restaurant I was very warmly greeted by a very enthusiastic team! The place is clean, and spacious- the team not only explained everything in great detail, they also offered me to sample some of the protein options which helped me decide and also helped me decide what I will try next time I come back!
