It is Memorial Day weekend and I took my son to get a pedicure to help with ingrown nails. We called ahead and made an appointment for 11:00 which we arrived on time for. We walked in and the people who helped make the appointment looked at us as if we were walk ins and had never scheduled an appointment. They made the appointment but once we arrived had no recollection that we had just made the appointment an hour prior. They finally seated my son but not me since they didn't have enough techs. I stepped out and within 12 minutes my son had paid and was out the door! Since when does VIP Nails have an express pedicure service for $48!!! They clearly didn't want to be there today and they clearly took advantage of an inexperienced customer. I am a regular customer at this place but if this doesn't get rectified by the owner, they will lose a customer. And by the looks of the other people there waiting for their 11:00 appointment, I'm guessing they'll lose more! Very disappointing. I stopped in a few days ago, 'Just to say hello,' because the staff here is always so good to my wife when she comes to get her nails done. I was greeted first by Vanessa and Justin, the owners. She is so friendly and Justin's smile is contagious. Yanni is one of the happiest human beings on the planet, and his happiness shines brightly. I always receive such a warm greeting here even though I rarely have time for a pedicure. It is always so peaceful and pleasant in this salon. Not NOISY like some other local salons. The music played is typically soft classic rock or light top 40s, and it compliments the HGTV shows (with captions) on their two screens. Wife had dip nail put on and 4 days later they started falling off. She has had dip nails done before and they lasted 4 weeks with none coming off. Went back and they said they would redo them but all they did was put polish back on all her nails, not dip. Not going back again. read more

This is a busy nail business and there are many people coming into area for events. I make sure to book ahead. The music is just eclectic and very good. The owner makes sure if you need water or help with a fan if it's summer. I have seen a lot more young mom's and their kids. I gave vip nails 3 chances to come through with great service and they let me down again. I've been a nail tech earlier in my life and pride myself on listening to what the client wants/needs. They couldn't perform a simple polish change and charged me double because the nail tech didn't again know what she was doing. I had a regualr manicure here for the 1st time about 48 hrs ago. Yesterday the polish had begun to "recede" on 1/2 my nails, but today it is now coming off on 2 or 3. I fortunately don't use my hands in my line of work (I'm a psychotherapist), so I am disappointed that after only 1-2 days, this manicure looks a week old. I left a 40% tip...maybe the products were @ fault (tho the staff person - I don't want to mention their name - said the top coat they use was exceptional). Only put two coats of color on that was clearly not enough as color was light and dark and got polish on skin. All this for low price of $60! It looks like I did them myself. Went in for removal of gel on hands and feet of dark color and asked for regular mani/peti of natural polish; when Toni was finished I still had specs of my dark previous polish on toes and somehow had a huge smudge of red on my pinky finger. They butchered my nails. I asked for them shorter, not non-existent. I was so upset I just drove back to talk to the manager. The manager offered to file them some more, but there was nothing left to file! The person who did my nails, Yee, used a rough file, ground them down unevenly, and then ground them down some more when I told her they were uneven. This was the WORST manicure I've ever had. This salon is 3 miles from my house. I got a manicure and pedicure and had my eye brows waxed. The pedicure and waxing were very good. When I got to my car all of my fingernails were smudged. I went back in to inquire about what I should do. The same technician started to redo my nails with the same bottle of polish. I tried to explain to her that the polish was too thick... old. She tried to understand, but; she couldn't. Finally I found another employee and explained the problem. My nails were redone and now look great. I will NEVER go back. They were not rude. I wish I could give zero stars, I used to go here for many years and got great service.... not sure what happened but I asked for gel dip, the man told me to pick a color he gave me two rings and said this is it, so i picked a color and he cut me twice and kept burning my nails, he actually was quite rude, he ended up giving me gel nail polish which I have not had in years. Honestly the worst nails ever!! They have huge bulges in them, they are sharp in areas and he didn't use the drill under so I have my nails under with a gap and everything keeps getting stuck in between also I noticed when I dress nice the workers seem to treat me better, when I come in very casual they tend to be more direct and short. Very odd. I will never go here again. I don't recommend this place! read more

Beautiful nail salon with nice employees! Walked in on a Sunday at 11am and was seated with a manicurist right away. There were about 8 people working, 11 spa chairs, 12 nail stations. All matching furniture, very comfy seating and the deco was beautiful! I didn't catch the name of my manicurist but my nails turned out great. I did a gel manicure and it cost me $35. I'll be going back! update: my gel color is chipping and completely peeling off since my manicure a week ago. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary, just dishes and normal day to day things. I really wanted to like this place, but I don't. First off I got the deluxe package for pedicure $45 then I got gel another $25. Fair pricing, should come out to $70. I get the deluxe package for 10 minute massage that lasted 5 minutes. My feet weren't even in the water for long before she took them out & then she left them out the hole time & they started to get cold. At the end they charged me $80. So watch out for that. I figured since it's the deluxe package it would come with everything, wrong, they charge you to clip down your nails, the cuticle, file down for another $10. Ridiculous!!! Only doing 2 stars because it's a very quiet place & everyone was nice. read more
