I have never been to a nail salon in which the owner completely embarrassed an unsatisfied customer. I called Bin two days after my nail appointment because I was very dissatisfied with my nails, and I realized I could not bear to continue having nails I was unsatisfied with. He said "no problem come in and we will change for you." I was embarrassed as is to go back (something I've never done because I hate to be that person) but his answer assured me he would take care of me. I walked into a very busy nail salon and Bin asked to see my nails. I pointed out the uneven and bleeding lines on my oval French tip and he said "what." Bin was very clearly annoyed that I was there. The conversation continued with me trying to convince him that my nails were very clearly not what they should be, and him invalidating and mocking my complaint very loudly in front of the client filled salon. I walked into this nail salon with understanding there was a potential that they would charge me for a repainting but did not at all expect the kind of treatment that Bin gave me. His wife, I believe, took a look at my nails and informed me that it is very difficult to get the polish to be straight on gel nails. This is understandable, and I really wish I would have spoken with her to begin with instead of her egoistic husband who was offended that I dare question the work of his employee. Treat people better Bin. Giving someone a beer during their appointment doesn't make up for your lack of human decency. read more

The salon is filthy, I mean REALLY dirty.... The tools and such are fine but the bathroom other Service rooms are horrible!! The owner can be so funny one minute and the next totally RUDE.... Makes you feel so stupid on the phone and even worse in person.... Very very unpredictable!!! I went two times to same girl and she did a great job... he WOULD NOT let me have her again as he said " every one here good" well she was not as good and I think your customer has the right to choose who they would like!!! Really enjoyed going to Palm Nails. Nail techs are great, the location is perfect, and so are the prices. However, after my last visit, I witnessed a second incident of Bin being so rude and obnoxious to his staff. It was so uncomfortable and awful. The first time, I thought it was a joke. It was not. The second (and last) time I was there, he was yelling at the tech who was working on my nails. I could not believe it was happening again. My tech had to finish my nails with tears in her eyes. I know times are tough and u have to upsell but if I have to repeat myself on what I want then you basically kill the experience right from the start. I also noticed as they grabbed the cuticle cutter it was just sitting on a plate didn't look like it was sanitized or in a bag( I use to go to another salon that would pull out all the tools from sanitized suction bags and that's how you know it hasn't been used ) and before using it she cleaned it right in front of me before cutting my cuticles- That was a major red flag for me. To make things worst I got gel and it only lasted 2 days and already started peeling and chipping. It usually last 2 weeks unless I get dip and want a month of out it. Sorry but no thanks for next time. The staff is friendly and overall atmosphere is great. They treated my guest from out of t like a queen which I cannot complain. read more

After months of closure due to the pandemic, Palm Nails was open again! We were able to get appointments for Deluxe Pedicures for the following day. The owner Bin, and all the staff are extremely personable and remembered us even through we had not been here since February. This is by far the best provider for pedicures that we have found. Our feet are happy, we are delighted to support this small business. Yes, there are places that are more convenient, but we choose to drive across the Valley to have a pedicure at Palm Nails! I was lucky to get an appointment before they locked down again. They have every orecatiin in place for Covid - barriers between chairs, barriers between you and the tech, enforcing mask and hand washing before you can be seen. I had a great pedicure and gel manicure from Autumn. My feet feel amazing and look fabulous, My finger nails are beautifully done. Her massage is not to be missed. I have been going to Palm Nails for years and have had a few issues but I really liked the way Mia did my nails. Mia made my appointment for me the last time I went in and told me it was at 2:00 today. I arrived at 2 and Ben immediately jumped all over me that my appointment was at 1:45 I then told him I was told it was at 2. He then proceeded to put the book in my face to show me the appointment and I would have to have a seat and wait 35 to 40 minutes for her to finish the person she was doing. My question is he has stated he does not take walk-ins so where did this person she was doing come from? She was half way through with her nails? Which meant she started way before 1:45. I picked up my stuff and left, he was so rude and obnoxious, I will not be treated that way. He is loud and made a fool of me in front of everyone. I will not be returning to this salon. Bin is completely unprofessional. Backstory: I had taken a hiatus from this salon because the quality of the work was getting worse. Uneven and chunky nails. Not cleaning my cuticles. Splotchy and thick gel that would peel off two days later. So I found someone else to do my manicures and I've been very satisfied with her since. Back in February, however, I had an event coming up and due to scheduling issues with my girl, I decided to come back to Palm Nails; plus there was one specific color they had that I liked and I wanted a picture so I could find it and buy it online. I go to my appointment and the entire time I'm there, Bin won't stop talking. "Mekela, it been whole year. Why you leave me? You cheat on me. Hurt my feelings!" The. Whole. Entire. Time. I was embarrassed and uncomfortable. Fast forward to today. I'm in a bridal party and this was the salon chosen. I walk in and it's the same nonsense from before. He claims I hadn't been in a whole year. It was only four months ago, so if you want to make a claim like that, get your facts straight. I ask for a gel pedicure, sit down and Bin's still going on and on asking why I left. I don't say anything about the quality because I don't want to deter other customers. He eventually comes over to my seat, trying to show me the above yelp review from nearly TWO YEARS AGO, but I show him the picture I took four months ago. I kindly ask him to drop the issue. He then puts his hands on my face and tries to pinch my cheeks like I'm a baby. I have NEVER been touched like that by anyone I'm not friends with. It was insulting and completely out of line. I told him to get his hands off me, that I would be coming back, and to stop talking to me. He, if course, tries to get me engaged in conversation but I ignored him because I was over it. I felt bad for the young man doing my pedicure (who did a good job by the way) because he was clearly trying to make the situation less awkward. But I had had it with Bin being in my face talking about an issue he was clearly misinformed about. He tries to act like your friends. He is anything but. Bin, if you're reading this, learn from your mistakes. You have no concept of personal space and you are too overbearing. If people decide they wanna go elsewhere, don't harass them about it. It happens all the time in business and if you can't handle that, then you shouldn't be running a business. I will not be returning. read more
