That weekend rosé is so refreshing and lovely! It's quickly becoming a fave! Such a beautiful spot with a good size deck and huge lawn! Dog friendly and they do have a bar bites menu during the week! Weekends they have a pizza truck which I may have to try soon!! Ryan, who served us, was funny and attentive and we loved chatting with him!

This was the perfect pitstop during a Friday funday. Came here around 4 pm to take full advantage of the pizza truck and (and also try to beat the rain) and was surprised but also secretly happy to find that this place only had a few tables occupied. Palmer Vineyards offers an array of wines ranging from dry to sweet. I always feel like I have to get a flight when I'm at a vineyard to try a little bit of everything, but was a little let down at the size of these pours for the price ($23 for 4 small pours), especially when full glasses start at $11. No matter, it was a treat yourself type of day, but something to be aware of. My flight included a Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Dry Rose and Sparkling Rose, all of which were enjoyable. We ordered the Funghi pizza from their truck which came out piping hot and was rich and flavorful. You can't beat the ambiance here really -- the views are beautiful but the vibes aren't as stuck up as some of the other wineries in this area. We were tempted to stay for the live music, but the weather was looking iffy and we had other spots on our list so we kept it moving. Also want to say that this place had A+ service -- servers were friendly and accommodating even after we abandoned our uncovered table and made a run for it when it started to downpour. Definitely a stop to make on your next wine trail day out on the North Fork.

Quaint family vineyard. They have lots of different seating, inside, covered patio, lawn, and outdoor lounge area. My husband and I went on Monday and it was pretty quiet. We should've known that they only serve pizza on the weekends (fri-sun to be exact). Was really looking forward to the funghi pizza. Oh wells, next time. We ended up ordering the red & white/rose flight. We didn't like anything from the white/rose flight. My hubbie liked the red blend only from the red flight. After the flight, I was interested to try whether their 2015 merlot was more full body than their 2017 on their flight. It definitely was and was my favorite. It was good for a glass but quite steep for a bottle $50+. Being a bit of a wine snob, it taste more like in the $30 range. As for the snacks we ordered, we loved the Pate! It was sooooo good. It's very possible that it's the same one from whole foods but it was delicious. It was served with tiny toast and cracker. Yum! The garlic herb spread was good, like a more gourmet version of boursin (tad saltier). As for service, Chris took care of us. He was nice and came to check up on us time to time. There wasn't much guests that day but I'm sure it's similar on a busier day. It definitely felt more of a family run vineyard which I love unlike a big vineyard just trying to make money. Plus, Apollo their kitty resident is so cute. Overall, I recommend giving them a try if you're in the area for the weekend (because of the pizza option) and get their more 2015 merlot if you like more full body wines.

We visited on winter Saturday and had a reservation. They sat us in a cozy booth. The wine pairing with chocolate was fun. The meat and cheese on the charcuterie board was one of the best I've ever had. Service was spot on and extremely knowledgeable about the wines and the food. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable evening.

My second vineyard of the day. I was excited to see flights. I wanted to try as many wines as I could today. At the door, I had to rub my eyes, but was I seeing correctly?? A cat?? Oh my goddddd yessssss haha We went inside and the cat stayed outside. We were sat next to the door and I watched the cat the entire time lol I found out his name is Apollo. I love that cat. Anyway, onto the menu! They had several flights that were chosen for you. We chose the White Flight and the White & Rose Flight. I liked a few from each flight. It was a good setup. Overall, I would go back again.

Had the opportunity to visit this vineyard over the summer/fall. It was busy but we were still able to get a table that provided sufficient space as we went with our dog. The wine flights were very good and a fun experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Albariño (white wine not featured) was my favorite. They had food options including pizza that we didn't have time to check out. Great outdoor and indoor options for a fun vineyard experience.

We stopped here on the way from Sag Harbor to the Long Island MacArthur airport. We enjoyed two different red flights and a delicious charcuterie board. Our server was so nice! The winery is beautiful. They had a small building on the side where they made pizzas that sounded delicious. We didn't try, but the other patrons sure did. We liked all of the wine flights.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Palmer Vineyards. It was a beautiful summer day with a slight breeze and I spent a great afternoon hanging out in the sun, taking in the view, and enjoying the $40 tasting special that came with four wines and a charcuterie board filled to the brim. The price includes tax and tip too, so that was a nice bonus. Our server and tasting guide Christian provided spectacular service, incredible recommendations, and detailed descriptions of the wines presented. When we requested a strong and fruity white wine, Christian came back with a bottle so good I knew I had to take it home the moment the wine touched my lips. Definitely ask for the aromatico if you do a tasting. This was definitely worth the hour plus trip from the city - and it's one I'll be making over and over again from now

    Fiesta pizza

I was excited to come with my friends and left disappointed. Wouldn't come again. Please be aware that you don't get over charged. We asked the server for the check and he told us the balance . Receipt needs to be given!! We had to pay on spot. After checking my receipt I saw there was a mistake. Manager was wonderful and gave me my refund. The only thing we enjoyed was the fiesta pizza which was 10/10.

Pinot Blanc has to be Long Island's speciality. Out of four wines we tried, Merlot is bit raw but all other three are decent, and the Pinot is the best. Although I found the guy has better attitude but over all their service is good, on a weekday in late November. * No outside food any longer. NO tasting any more - this is disappointing.* Below is for the LI vineyards in general Time has changed: 30 some years ago when my friend would stuck out her tongue "turning red ..." when I mentioned LI vineyards. Wine tasting was free. 20 years ago, many vineyards have renovated and they charged a fee for tasting (flats... and discount if you buy after tasting ...) About a decade ago the low cut/high hem girls arrived in doves in limos, signaling the arrival of Long Island vineyards. But Napa they're NOT. We haven't been back in couple of years and today we see "no outside food" sign. Roanoke Vineyards even requires you to become a member to taste their wines (seriously?!? Hell NO!) Good for them if they could forgo the bring-your-own-food concession. Some vineyards we went were outrageous that many patrons s even brought rolling coolers, that made the tasting rooms/tents noisy, messy and very annoying. Now with the table service, it seems no more tasting (wish they keep the tasting menu tho, with different flats ...), straight per glass basis. But over all I'm glad they've prospered. Aside, churning out decent wines. There is distance to catch up with Napa but east coast always does things differently than the West. Who knows. The hit and run party scenes may be the only way that make the vineyards survive. On this note, I'd say go Long Island vineyard and go Long Island wines.

    Chocolate pairings for Valentines
    Steven T.

Today we enjoyed our first visit at Palmer. We came in for their Valentines special, wine and chocolate pairings. The chocolate was exquisite and the wines delicious. Their dessert wine with the chocolate sea salt caramel mouse with a chocolate genache heart top was just tasty! We signed up for their membership!

View of outside and our Charcuterie plate. $40 (I prob should have taken the photo prior to us eating it)

Delicious Syrah ! The Cabernet franc was very good too! Came here on New Year's Eve and it was nice and peaceful! Outside they had heaters, which were perfect! Ordered the charcuterie board, which had a nice variety. Sitting outside you don't receive table service (only indoors) so we had to go inside for our beverages, to order, and grab plates and utensils.

I drove slowly and managed to get a nice parking spot. I've never been here before, once inside the tasting room is adorable. Theres a bar as well as a quite sitting room. My wife and I arrived early and ordered two glasses of wine. There are two $34 wine tasting, if I was staying longer I would have sat back, relaxed and enjoying their various wines. Since we're going to get some corn flavored ice cream (Yes, you read that right) at the nearby farm, my wife started with the Main & Mill Marigold white and for myself I ordered a glass of 2022 Main & Mill Trinity. I'm also starving so I ordered a shrimp cocktail. The wines, incredible. There is nothing better than being on the North Fork and drinking a glass of wine that was produced on Long Island. The kids arrive. Hugs happen and they're also hungry so we ordered a cheese and charcuterie for the table. They have been here before so I was told the Honey Goat Cheese dip is a must. What impressed me the most were the breadsticks! Are they baked locally, where can I buy them?! Everything was deelish! The wait staff was excellent, everything came out promptly. The bill came, the waiter had my credit card on file. My wife is happy, the kids are happy and I'm a happy pappy. This place would be fantastic in the fall. Have I told you the east end of Long Island is so beautiful, I would love to be back here in front of their fireplace sipping on their Napa Valley blend. A few more weeks!

To be honest, the location is gorgeous with large wooden benches indoors and opening up to a large field and stage area with seating for live music outside, all along a water front. But again, the pizza. With ingredients including house-made mozzarella, hot soppressata and Mikes Hot Honey, the oven fired pizzas made fresh to order are the star of the show. The unique brews on draft vary constantly and are sure to please whatever you palate is in the mood for. If you are on line for the bar, you can see the drink selections on the floor mounted menus while waiting to speed up your choices. Bar tenders are friendly and can help make selections according to your preferences. There is also plenty of parking. Side note, a wedding party was heading down from the second floor of the building when we visited, so if you are looking to host a party you may also want to inquire about options here taking into account the available views.
