I was referred to Carolina Appliance by KitchenAid for warranty service. I live on an island and…read moreprovided clear, detailed instructions on how to reach my address. Carolina Appliance scheduled and confirmed the appointment, sent reminders, and I stayed home from work to meet the technician. On the day of the appointment, they called to cancel and said they don't service my area. Afterward, I received a text asking for feedback, so I left an honest review describing what happened. A man from the company then called me in response to my one-star review, verbally insulted me, and used profanity. When I tried to explain why this was frustrating from a customer's perspective--and share information that could help them improve their process--he made it clear he didn't care. This didn't have to go this way. A simple step like reviewing the address and special instructions from the manufacturer before confirming an appointment would prevent wasted time for both customers and employees.

I told him about the noise it would make several times during the day. When I told him it wasn't making noise at the moment he said he couldn't come if there was nothing to hear instead of trying to determine what the problem may be. 10/8/26 Second service request when refrigerator completely stopped working. 10/11/26 Showed up and took broken part. After several text messages and phone calls I was told on 10/30/26 the part was ordered 20 days ago and still hadn't come in yet. 11/7/26 They had the part but they called and cancelled because their truck had broke down. 11/10 26 THEY BROUGHT THE WRONG PART!! The owner and his wife were both rude and hateful. I never heard from them again. Do your research before using this company. You'll be glad you did.

I was looking for some seats for my truck and thought I'd stop here after picking up something…read morenearby. It's a $2 entry. The guy at the front asked the specifics of my vehicle and gave me a small list of compatible vehicles and a map where they're located. He even circled the locations and gave me a water bottle! The list provided also mentions the color of the vehicle. The layout of the lot made it easy to find everything. Keep in mind that people are definitely pulling parts but it's still quite organized! I didn't find what I needed but I wouldn't hesitate to come back if I had something else in mind for my vehicle!

BEWARE OF THEIR SCAM BEFORE SPENDING YOUR VALUABLE TIME AND $$$$. They won't pick up the phone…read morebut instead all the recorded messages send you to their website to see what parts they have on hand. On their website you search by the make model and part name. It comes up that they have the part (in my case a rear bumper and step bars). So I rush down on my first day off and walk in. The lady pulls up the vehicle in their system, gives me a quote for the part I want. Satisfied with the cost I paid my entry fee ( mandatory to walk out on the yard). I go and load up all my tools and make my way out to the vehicle that I was interested in and it was stripped already of all the parts I was interested in. So the scam is, they lead you to believe they have the part with their "fancy" website with lookups for parts, then charge you an mandatory entry fee to find out they don't have what they claimed to have. Why can't businesses just be honest with people these days?

I had been working with a sales manager via email for about a week regarding two used wranglers…read morethey had available online.  A black wrangler priced around $9700 and a red wrangler priced around $12000.  Same year, model and trim, but the black one had about 20k more miles.  We arranged for me to drive from Charleston on Friday to come check out both vehicles, but I was told that the black wrangler was still being serviced and hadn't hit the lot yet.  No problem. I drove to Beaufort as planned and met with the sales manager.  He informed me that the black wrangler was losing a lot of oil due to a bad seal or gasket and was not for sale - it would cost them too much to repair, and they were just going to sell it wholesale.  That was fine, and we took the red wrangler out to test drive. I decided to negotiate a deal on the red wrangler and he went to "the people upstairs" to get the numbers together.  He brought a pricing sheet with the VIN and info specific to the black wrangler, but the $12000 pricing for the red one, adding taxes and fees etc. to bring it to just under $14,000.  I pointed out the black jeep info, but was told that it was a mistake and that we all knew which wrangler we were negotiating. We finally negotiate a deal, and then it's off to the paperwork.  I'm paying full cash, so quick and easy.  I get all the paperwork done, bind insurance, and then move to the finance office to finalize the tag, title, and count out the cash.  As I'm signing title info, I notice that they've drawn up the information for the black wrangler that isn't even for sale.  After pointing this out, the finance team member heads off to "the people upstairs" to get the correct info and paperwork.  Despite some confusion with the initial paperwork, the team at Butler Chrysler Dodge Jeep worked to honor the deal that we had negotiated, and make sure that I left feeling great about my purchase. There can be mix-ups and errors in any aspect of business, and the important thing is how a company makes it right. Butler CDJ has earned my business and referrals.
