The facial was really wonderful and relaxing - no intense scents, super calming with some massage in there that was awesome. We then had individual massages by Tracy. Unfortunately that was not the greatest, WAY too gentle, WAY too much oil, and hardly felt relieved nor relaxed after - I kept thinking "when is this massage going to start" even after for more pressure. My partner had the same experience as well. I would totally be open to going back if there were other massage therapists though I will say, given the amount of $$ I was really hoping for a better experience.

Suzanne is great at not being available for months and then when my friend tried once again she was told the gift certificate had expired. I emailed Suzanne and asked for my money back. She refused. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office. She is unscrupulous and I would suggest using another place for a massage such as Marion's Salon in Pleasant Valley. The new staff was getting supplies at Walmart but they were on their way back. I almost drove away but they ask me to wait and I'm glad I did. What pleasant people! They opened up their doors and got me right in. My back was killing me and I really need some lower back work. The masseuse was so attentive and very focused on getting the knots out. I took a 60 minute session and could not be more happy. My back felt like new and my pain had disappeared. She is a highly skilled technician who works on your body as if she was part of the original design team. She knows where and how much pressure to use, how to intricately delineate the bunched up fibers which are totally stressing you out! We joke around that I pay her to hurt me weekly, but her deep tissue massage is what keeps me going week to week. I had massage therapy before after the accident with another practice for over a month and received little to no relief of my pain. One visit with Maren and I could cut back on pain medication. After three visits, I was able to cut back to OTC as needed. She is able to keep my migraines at bay, even going as far as to stop them in their tracks, if I happen to get one when I have an appointment with her. I also feel a definitive difference (migraines and horrendous neck pain/upper back pain) when I am not able to see her i.e. vacations or busy work schedule. As a result, I make sure not to miss a single appointment. Oh, and don't let me get started on her Facial Stretching! To date, she now treats four of my family members, including me. There were some communication issues. First, the man directed me to a massage room. I declined and pointed to the chair. The chair massage was good, firm to the point of uncomfortable. When I was ready for the foot massage, a walk in appointment was in process so I was unable to get another service. I left somewhat disappointed. Also good thing I looked at myself in my car mirror as bits of the black foam from the chair were covering my face! Which also made me question best practices-no towel or covering on the massage chair. Just the black foam which crumbled on my face
