Myra is amazing. I get a personal phone call when my items are ready and I love that they have the drive through. They are very thorough and honest about what can be done and what can't be done, especially with natural materials like leather and suede. I've brought some of the craziest stuff in for dry cleaning that I didn't think I'd ever be able to wear again because it was ruined by a previous owner. They have brought items like a suede jacket back to life again. I have never felt like their services are too expensive for what is being done or it has taken too long. Haven't been able to make it in with my items but have had several communications with Paul. Very responsive, offers a large range of services from traditional clothing to shearling and furs. Other dry cleaners have no idea what to do with some items. One even told me I'd have to sign a waiver to have my fur cleaned. It was hard for me to find a drycleaner in the area. Most people don't wear clothing that requires dry cleaning anymore. This tiny dry cleaners right on Speedway in Tucson did a fabulous job on several of my business suits that hadn't been cleaned in a while. The woman who took my order took great care to understand what my preferences were and made note of some of the extra-soiled areas that needed special attention. She's very efficient, And is very good at communicating when the dry cleaning is ready for pick up. read more

Palo Verde cleaner is about 3.5 star in my book, but I feel like rounding up today ;) Heads up: CASH CASH CASH only! Super small family business! I like supporting local businesses so that's why I picked this spot when I needed my white coat cleaned. As a medical student, a clean coat is one of the most important first impressions so I wanted to start off the year fresh. Cons: -because it is family owned, a young girl took my coat in and quoted me $10 because she wasn't sure how much it was supposed to cost. When I came back to pick up, the owner (I presume) fixed the price to $8 -a little bit more expensive than what I'm used to. The coat was a very simple white soft coat, about waist length so I didn't expect it to have cost $$$ -I came by to pick up on Monday (as I was told when I dropped it off), but the coat wasn't ready, I came back again Tuesday, still wasn't ready. I had to come back Wednesday to pick up a coat that was dropped off the previous Friday... luckily I didn't need it urgently. Pros: -so after some pick-up misunderstanding, I thought I would call it quit with this cleaner... UNTIL I saw my white coat, all pressed and whiter than when I received it brand new a year ago. All the coffee stains, pen marks, wrinkles (I know, I'm pretty clumsy) were all GONE! All my frustration went away! They did an amazing job and I was so stoked to put on the coat for clinic the next day. Thanks Palo Verde... I'll be back when I feel like a baller and need more items dry- cleaned. read more

I'm guessing the other reviewers don't have much experience with dry cleaners or they're all wealthy with plenty of time on their hands because Palo Verde is hands down the SLOWEST and most EXPENSIVE dry cleaner I have ever used. I gave them two stars: one for being very pleasant, and the other for doing a good job. Caveat to the good job comment: they had to OUTSOURCE my blazer to get it done on time so it wasn't even their work. Not sure what else was outsourced. So why the poor rating? I brought my items in on Thursday around 3pm needing them by Saturday afternoon. They said they would be ready Monday afternoon. What?! I advised that I absolutely needed the blazer by Saturday and they said they'd outsource it to get it done so I decided to go ahead and leave my items there (with the reminder of the good Yelp reviews in the back of my mind). I picked up my blazer Saturday and it looked great but the bill was $10 which seemed really steep for just a blazer. Also, I was still stunned that it was going to take two days for the other items: a handful of work shirts and one pair of dress pants. The final shocker was picking up the remaining items today and paying a SIXTY (yes, $60!) dollar bill! I guess I'm just used to more efficient, cost-effective dry cleaning. In by 9 out by 5. $2.75 a shirt. BTW only accepting cash or check as payment is pretty standard for most dry cleaners. read more

We just sent a vintage wool garment to them to try to clean. Very faded and bad sweat stain, but it looks brand new now. They cleaned it once, then asked to keep it to work on the stain and it's amazing. Actually very inexpensive and fast too! read more

We were rather surprised this was listed in the economy cleaners. A plain crew neck sweater is $11.00

They are great!! Turn around time depends on the season, for example, I would expect a 1-2 day turn around time during the Christmas/NYE holidays. But every day/normal season, they get your items back to you in 1-3 days. They are honest, do great work and are so kind and professional! read more

Can't say nothing but Good things! I had an emergency job interview. So I pulled out my Suit Jacket out of storage after two years. Which I put in immediately after a wedding, accompanied with PLENTY of food and liquor stains. I dropped off my jacket at 12:00pm, I was notified it may not be possible in the 5 hour period to get it clean. But she pulled off a miracle for me! It was done by 5:30pm! I'm not sure if it was just for me...or if they treat everyone this good! But I will recommend everyone to come here. I actually drove about 25 minutes out of my way to come to these cleaners and I will do it again :) read more

I used to bring my suits to another cleaner. But they almost never were able to remove the white salt stains due to sweating unde the arms. At Palo Verde cleaners, Mayra was very knowledgeable and removed these stains witout any problem foe me. I am also very pleased by Mayras honesty. She found some money in the pockets of some of my pants and handed it out to me when I went to pick up my suits. I didnt even know I had left money in my pocket and wouldnt have noticed, so this came as a nice surprise to me. I also brought shirts for washing which had pretty dark stains from dust and skin oil at the collar and they were perfectly clean after I got them back. From now on I will bring my suits and shirts for dry cleaning and washing always to Palo Verde Cleaners. Thank you Mayra for the excellent service ! read more

They worked a small miracle on a very grungy beige jacket and brought another beige jacket back to its original bright condition! The work was very thorough. The staff is pleasant. I fired two other dry cleaners before I found Palo Verde Cleaners because they ruined some clothes. Every thing at this place comes out perfect. I even took George a tie with an 8 year old stain on it that I could not bear to part with not hopeful of the results but he got it completely out! Gotta love this cute little family owned "mom and pop" dry cleaners in the middle of town! It's small and easy to miss but super cute. They have a drive-through as well as plenty of parking behind the building. The staff is friendly, their prices are reasonable, and they have a good turnaround time. I think they also provide alterations (but not sure about this). Overall, I'm happy with them and will keep supporting them unless they give me a reason not to. The only thing to keep in mind is they do not accept credit cards, so make sure you take cash when you go to pick up your items. read more

I got my wedding dress dry cleaned and preserved by Palo Verde cleaners. I thought they were very reasonably priced ($135 for my dress preservation) and timely. They called to tell me the price prior to starting the services. When I received by dress it was in a box. As far as I could see, all of the stains were taken out which made me very happy considering I got married outside and the bottom of the dress has quite a lot of dirt and mud stains on it. My main complaint is that my dress did not appear to be pressed at all. There were deep wrinkles that I felt should've been ironed out. The tulle was very very wrinkly. Unfortunately, it seemed like my dress was just folded in half and put messily into the box which I'm sure contributed to the wrinkles. While I don't plan on wearing the dress anytime soon I felt as though more care should've been taken. read more

I have been looking for a dry cleaner, and after reading the great reviews, went to Palo Verde. I was hoping it would be cheaper and better then the chains, and unfortunately it was neither. I just put on the blouse I got dry cleaned, and not only has the texture changed from a soft, light silk to a powdery texture, but the whole blouse that once was brilliant blue now has a faded, white-ish look to it. Parts of the blouse are completely a different color - I'd say at least ten shades lighter - it looks like perhaps they sprayed something on it to get a stain out, but they took the color of the blouse out with it. I had to get some last minute dry cleaning done and called a few places but Palo Verde was the only cleaners that said they could get it to me on time! I called at 10 AM and needed it the next day by noon - most places require a drop off before 9 AM for next day. Not sure if they do that on the regular, but it was much appreciated. I've lived around the area for 2 years and never noticed the little shop, but then again I don't use the dry cleaners all that much. It's smaller and visibly older, down the street from Takamatsu. My impression was an older local business since most of the employees were much older but I appreciate and commend any local business that manages to stick around. Prices are reasonable, I believe it cost me around $20 for a suit and 2 shirts but you might be better off at a franchise cleaners if you do a lot of dry cleaning since it's cheaper. The only reason I knocked off a star is because it's cash or check only, otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. They have a drive through, a few parking stalls out front, and a lot in the back as well. Staff was friendly and very accommodating, I would definitely use them again! read more

I would highly recommend these cleaners. I spilled Chinese food in my pleather backpack right before I was supposed to go out of town, and Palo Verde Cleaners was not only able to rush my bag so that I would get it before my trip but they made it look brand new. I only paid for the inside to be cleaned but they restored the outside free of charge. read more
