I have used this cleaners for years with no issues. however I dropped off a huge load to be dry cleaned and spent over 127.00. everything seemed fine on pick-up, but out of town for a show and several of the outfits have been seriously shrunk!! these are expensive suits that get dry cleaned for a reason. this is not minor shrinkage-I am talking several sizes smaller. not only am I out what I paid for the cleaning but now I have several St John's suits that are ruined!! would give no stars if I could! read more

Ok why do all my shirt look dry no starch no nothing like u took the color out of it great price but not worth the results

I tried this dry cleaning establishment location at 22nd E and Harrison, there are several locations. The front counter is greeted by a mother/daughter or in frequent other staff, other staff are really nice and helpful. The mother daughter team are abrasive, rude and loud in their delivery of any question you ask regarding dry cleaning. My first visit was ok dry cleaning was not bad for the low price, but you do get what you pay for. That entails customer service or lack of it at this business. I had been getting rude delivery when I would pick up or drop and lots of questions that I would not respond to finally I sent the owner 2 detailed letters advising of the on going problems with those two staff who are not capable of just taking the dry cleaning and giving you the finished product without their comment on others or whatever flows that day. Sad because customer service is so simple be polite and knowledgeable about your business. I used to pay in change under $3.25 was told no change, that they do not want to count change and heaven help you if you bring in any pennies, they will refuse the money. So I got a call from the owner he was abrupt with me and told me that they did customer service and refused to acknowledge that the two staff were with some real customer service issues. I had earlier in the week re established with a new dry cleaners and no problems it was like night and day compared to this location. I called to get a final pick up of my last order and went in and same behavior of abrupt loud and abrasive. I had one white top of mine dry cleaned it has a large rust spot on the back, that was not there when item was brought in. Sometimes the so called pressing is not very well done. So I can not recommend this establishment nor do i think the owner read the letters i sent giving insight into what poor service I had gotten, I will not go back and you pay for what you get or do not get. The rude counter behavior from those two is not acceptable to me when I go in and drop a dry cleaning order. I had on more than one occasion asked both of them to stop asking me my personal business should not have had to in most businesses you have an expectation of boundaries and this was not shown to myself. I will not go back nor do I think the odd conversations are needed when a person drops or picks up their dry cleaning order. Low price, but no customer service skills. read more

OUTSTANDING!! I had quit taking things to a cleaner because they'd all had gotten so expensive. Park Avenue Cleaner's is a fantastic discovery!! They have a set price of $3.50 for dry cleaning for whatever you bring in. That's not just a special limited price. That's EVERY DAY! They also launder and iron things that don't need dry cleaning. read more

Beware of this place they don't even clean your clothes. They just press them and give them back to you. I had a stain with a piece of tape so they could make sure they saw it. It was just milk very easy to get out and when I got it back, the state was still there and they're rude. read more

We brought in 20 items to be dry cleaned, 5 of which were handmade table mats and a runner. We took them in on a saturday and we're given Tuesday as a pickup date. The staff is not friendly, very short and treat you as if you're interrupting their day. Today my husband and I are taking the mats and runner out. They are clean however 3 of the 4 mats needed to be resewn. This has never happened before. So going to now have to go back to look at the clothes since looking for cleanliness was not enough. Take your things somewhere else. 1 Star- Total failure of an experience based on this experience would not return. Would not recommend. 2 Star- Below average on several levels, not a total failure. Wouldn't seek out to return or recommend. 3 Star- Average experience, minimum expectations met. Nothing that says wow or that stands out. Would return if someone else wanted to come, not a regular go to. 4 Star- Above average experience, will come here again and recommend to friends and family. 5 Star- This will be a regular go to and will be highly recommended to people I know. Love Park Ave. Never had a problem. We don't take inticate garments there but for everyday shirts, blouses and slacks it's been great. My local Ventana area cleaner wants $6.75 to dry clean a tencel shirt. I get a perfectly acceptable job on the same shirt at Park Ave for $3.25. read more

I came here on recommendation from my mom, who uses this place often. I came in to drop off a couple items to be dry cleaned for a wedding the next day. My dress had a small stain on a white area of the dress, and I pointed that out to them. I paid $7.50 by check -- NOTE: They only accept cash or check (I had no cash, fortunately I happened to have a check in my wallet but I usually don't carry one). They informed me it would be ready the next morning (I dropped off in the morning). Next day I arrived early afternoon; on giving my ticket she informed me it wasn't ready yet. After a moment of panic while the lady walked in the back to check on status, I still it's actually up in the front. I still had to wait about 3-5 minutes longer while the woman was in the back looking around, even though I could see my items were tantalizingly within reach. When she came back I pointed out my clothes, she handed them over and I went on my way. At home, I noted that they had not been able to get my stain out (though to their credit, there was a card saying they couldn't get it out, however it could see little evidence that they had tried). My main complaint comes from my husband--he said his clothes did not smell like they had been cleaned at all, and his shirt and pants were not pressed. My husband had to spend another 30 minutes "febreezing" his clothes and ironing them. Won't be back again. read more

I hope the owner reads this as well. To Scott: I really appreciate your call today, apologizing for misplacing my cleaning. I was completely shocked when you refused to refund the money I paid for having to wait for 20 minutes while your staff looked frantically for my order. As per your conversation the counter person did not know of the special place you put my order and that is why I had to wait 20 minutes and then come back at my lunch break to pick them up. That said Scott, because you failed to teach your counter help the procedure that would saved me time I had to come back twice. And all for $3.80. That is the cost of your business. I tallied up my expenses and in 2015 I spent over $200 but I will be taking my business elsewhere because you Scott do not grasp the concept of customer service. I hope your business associates read this and ask you what part of customer service you don't understand. read more

Cheaper is not always better, and in the case of using this cleaner all I can says is "BUYER BEWARE"! Keep your receipt because they will question your integrity when they provide sub-standard cleaning. Avoid the hassle and pay a bit extra for GOOD Customer Service ! I've been taking my dry cleaning here for the last year and a half after a HORRIBLE experience with Sparkle Cleaners on Broadway and Kolb. As long as I've been going here they have taken cash or check ONLY (no out of state checks) so leave your debit card at home. The reason I am writing this review is because when I went in to pick up a load and drop off a new one this past Monday, the front desk girl was VERY RUDE. She looked new and I noticed that the girl I normally do business with was working in the back. I asked for the clothes back and said that I will take my business elsewhere! The girl in the back jumped in, apologized for the inconvenience and made things right (this was much appreciated). I left a little upset about the experience and thought "oh well, I'll just find a new dry cleaners AGAIN". To my surprise, the new girl called my cellphone about 30 minutes later to apologize. She also said that my next dry cleaning would be free. I didn't complain or ask for a handout, however, I really appreciated her efforts. A lot of people say customer service is DEAD. I work in customer service myself and I have to say that it took a lot for her to do that. I will continue doing business with Park Avenue Cleaners so long as they continue to provide good service and have my dry cleaning done on time. It's great to see someone PERSONALLY own up to an honest mistake (we all have bad days) and make this type of gesture. For that, I give them 4 Stars ****. read more

But on 11-25-15 the lady at counter in morning around 945am was rude. I asked for my pants to be creased, which I always do. I usually have no problem and the counter person writes "CR" for "CREASE" on receipt. But this lady apparently has a morale problem and just ignored me. Receipt number 301081. The owner deserves to know which of his employees do a good job and which do not. read more
