You can book everything online, everything: pick up, delivery. detergent options (scented with choices outside the basics), unscented, hypoallergenic, deep cleaning, pretreatment, wash cycles, drying types, etc....very customizable for your needs. And the folding and packaging are great too. Plus after a visit or two they provided breathable laundry bags...I line my laundry baskets with their laundry bags and when it's tim, I book a pick up and take the bag out of the basket and onto the porch for pick up. I have been doing my laundry at Paloma for 20 years. I knew the original owners, Richard and his wife, and I got to know all the employees over the years. Under the new recent ownership, the place has been improved in terms of equipment. The machines work but they have not yet been programmed to allow more complex washing programs than cold warm, and hot. Shiny, new, and even more expensive is all good and fine. However, I miss the old staff, all of whom were friendlier and more cordial than the new staff who barely say hello and are frequently absent altogether. Michelle was the last friendly legacy employee and she's been gone for months. Also, the music that is being played in there makes me want to walk out. For me, the place went from 4 stars to 2, you may love it. read more

I was told I would get a text for my load of laundry at Friday drop off with an estimate of Saturday evening or Sunday morning. I never got notified. $25 for a medium sized load of laundry, which was well done but untimely. I as a customer was left wondering until I decided to just pop in on Tuesday morning. read more

They cleaned it up very nicely, all of the machines are working. The new owner happened to be there my last visit and he is super friendly! I LOVE this place!! I've used their wash and fold service twice now and I don't know how I'll ever go back to doing my own laundry. My clothing is handled with great care and attention to detail. The staff is very friendly and communicative. I wish that I never brought my brand new Ugg blanket here to be dry cleaned , it was ruined ! The blanket has areas where the blanket feels like it was singed by being dried on hot and there's a corner with something black on it ( like plastic ?!?!). Never again ! Out $130 blanket is ruined !!! read more

I've been debating on posting this review for a while but after the last encounter my husband and I had, it's time to let it out. This place is in such a convenient location and has tons of dryers and washers. I do have to say the people at the front aren't the friendliest. Anyways, a while back we had our kind size sleeping bag dry cleaned by them. The lady at the front said she would call once it's done, we ended up waiting close to a week until we realized "hey, we never got a phone call" so we called and the person who answered the phone yelled at us saying it's been done for almost a week and we need to get it because it's taking up space. Hmm okay, no problem. Went picked up, paid cash and went our merry way. Fast forward a few months, we decided to use their laundry services (wash and fold). Low and behold the same thing happened! Waited and waited for a phone call, we were told again someone would call. No one did. When we finally got our laundry back, all our whites were pink! I know for a fact that all my whites were separated and had NO trace of color whatsoever. Great, all my white tops, towels, sweaters and socks are pink. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and being on a time crunch we decided to use their wash and fold again this past weekend. Guess what!? Same thing happened again! No one called to tell us the laundry was complete, the young man who answered the phone couldn't answer a yes or no question on if the laundry was done. When we finally bring it home, guess what! Most of our whites are pink! Again! I would LOVE to be able to keep using this place for wash and fold so we can support local but too many bad experiences to keep going back. It's two blocks from the beach so I can just take a quick walk while my clothes are washing or drying. The woman that works here is so friendly and helpful. Truly, God sent! This review is long overdue. Paloma Cleaners wash and fold service literally keeps me sane!! My apartment complex doesn't have washer/dryer in-unit and I dreaaaaaad laundry. As an RN, I worked a decent amount of OT in 2020. This service made washing my (disinfected) uniforms one less thing to do. I also have sensitive skin and Paloma utilizes their own sensitive detergent upon request, which also smells quite nice. I'm sensitive to fragrance, and haven't had had any rashes or breakouts to date! None of my clothes is ever ruined aside from normal fading with time. (They honestly do a better job than I ever would.) I feel spoiled utilizing this service, but let me tell you ... it's worth every penny! I don't spend hours dreading laundry anymore; I don't spend hours procrastinating laundry until it piles up; and I don't spend hours doing piles of laundry. Paloma Cleaners is THE BEST. Tamera and Jo Jo are AWESOME! The place is always very clean. They take all possible precautions for Covid. They always keep both doors open which is great for air circulation especially when all dryers are on. I usually park on Paloma. I love watching the waves from my car while waiting for my laundry. You can take a walk to the water front while waiting for the laundry. It's only couple blocks away. There are coffee shops and food near by. The tv is on to catch the morning news on CNN. However my favorite is the music. Tamera has great taste and plays really cool music. This place makes a mundane task such as doing your laundry fun. They also provide washing and folding services which I never used. However I witnessed how much care they show to wash and fold the clothes neatly. If you need to get your laundry done in Pacifica look nowhere else. read more

This shop is spectacular! Friendly, affordable and professional. Our washer and dryer have been broken for a very long time and I had to take almost all our clothes in. Everything was nicely and folded better than I can do it! All my clothes fit so much better in our dressers! All our button or zipper items were returned on hangers. It was great. Definitely saviors! I love this laundromat! I usually wash my clothes at home, but my dryer is hella old and missing a part that I can't seem to find, so I dry my clothes there. The lady that runs it is so quirky and nice. And it's not a pain to actually "do" laundry there - I put the clothes in the dryer, take a walk down to the pier, enjoy the wonderful pacifica air & waves and by the time I walk back, my clothes are dry. Sweet! They also do alterations. One time I begged her on Weds. to have a pair of seven jeans hemmed by Friday, pleading with her that I would die if I couldn't wear them to this show. She just giggled and asked, "you'll die?!" I said, "YES!" and she replied that she would try her best. Sure 'nuff, hemmed and ready to rock out in by Fri. p.s. the nail salon right by it, however, is so very very weird. read more

I change outfits like 4x a day so my weekly trip to the laundromat can take up several washing machines but the dryers are gi-normous and all my crap can fit into one! The location is perfectly peaceful - a quiet little escape from the city and only a 15 minute drive away. We've been going to this laundromat for a while now- usually if the machine at our apartment is in use. Normally, there's an attendant there that's really friendly. Today when I went in, there was this older woman who immediately came up to me and started asking me questions- such as what I was doing there, etc. It was really unsettling. Never had this happen the other times we've come. I tried to explain that my boyfriend was parking and was bringing in our laundry, but she just kept glaring and muttering things at me as I got change. I stepped to one side and tried to call my boyfriend, to tell him that I wanted to go to a different laundromat. The woman basically chased me out of the building, yelling at us to "never come back again." I don't know what her problem was, and why she basically treated me like a criminal or something. Oh my. These people are the best EVER!!! We hired a professional organizer (the Simplified Life - off the hook good!) and decided if we were going to keep clothes then every piece had to be washed or dry cleaned. That helped weed out what we kept. I dragged several Hefty Lawn and Leaf bags of laundry here and they did a masterful job. They washed, PERFECTLY folded and sorted all if it! Worth every single penny. Amazing job! It would have taken us forever to do all of that and it sure wouldn't have turned out as nice. I need remedial folding classes read more

I'm reviewing their laundromat and not their dry cleaning service. Facility has some big old washers (comforters) the standard size washers seems a bit modern. Dryers were bad (takes more quarters) and I don't overload them. The place seems a bit dirty too. Wow, there's no place on the peninsula that I can recommend for a good laundromat. read more
