This place is conveniently located next to Camino corner so if you're going there for one hour dry cleaning, you can get a pretty decent meal next-door! If all goes well with the pick up on Monday, I will be happy to share my recommendation with friends and family as I've been here in the Bay Area for 52 years. Been coming to this place for years. The owner, Su, is super friendly and is a big Giants fan. The place is covered with memorabilia, including locker name plates, pennants, stickers and more! If you're a Giants fan, it's worth coming in to see some of the names he has on the walls--it's a throwback for sure! To be fair, I've never utilized this place for their 1-hour services, so I cannot comment on that. The prices seem reasonable, and the service is awesome. In the countless times I've been there, there have been one or two times when I noticed something wasn't fully clean. I pointed it out to him, and he took it back. General time for a non-rush order is a few days. If you're not in a hurry, just drop it off and ask him when he can have it done by! Very sad. The owner is super nice, and they have very fast turnaround for cleaning. But negative stars for alterations. They took two $100 pairs of brand new Brooks Brothers chinos with tags still on, and gave them the same tight hem you would give a pair of jeans. Suggests they have never actually paid attention to how people wear clothing before. Left no extra cloth under the cuff, so what has been done cannot be fixed. It was a brand new dress and I tried it on ONCE and have pictures all around the dress and put it back in its garment bag right after. The woman stood there and argued with me saying it wasn't them. I showed her the pictures and insisted it was. She even said they couldn't steam the dress all the way because the garment bag I gave wasn't long enough even though they have plastic ones to put the dress in. I'm literally crying. Great mom and pop dry cleaning service ran by a lovely couple. I've had 2 dresses dry cleaned here and both were done very well. They are pretty fast. I wasn't in a rush to get my stuff back but was able to get them both back 2-3 days after they were cleaned both times. The place is located on el camino next to a few restaurants, including camino corner. They have a few quick parking spots in the plaza and on the street so it's not that hard to find parking. I also wanna mention that their service is really great. I made the rookie mistake of leaving my dress in the duster bag and hanger I bought it with. When I had somebody else pick up my dress and it didn't get it back I thought they wouldn't have it anymore. Lucky for me when I called they said they still had it so I was able to go back and pick it up. Overall this place is great and I will definitely be using them for my future dry cleaning needs. The Korean couple running the place are super sweet and kind. Though, I have had some issues with my dry clean the past few times there. Had to ask them to re-clean some clothing that they returned to me with spots still found. Additionally, just got one of my favorite scarves back and the fabric does not look at all like it used too :( I don't want to give a bad review, but this is my honest review. I really wanted to give this spot 5 stars, but I had to take one off for not being able to deliver 1 hour service as they advertise. I went in on Saturday around 2 PM to drop off my black suit, and asked how much would it be for one hour. He said he really didn't do "1 hour service anymore". That if you drop it off in the AM he could have it ready for you in the PM. Well, then you should take the "1 hour service" ads off. Besides that this is my new go to place to get my suits clean. I was quoted $14.75 and when I picked it up I was charged exactly that. Last week I had used "Bayhill cleaners" and they charged me $46.90 for 2 suits. Completely over priced. For that amount of money I could have got 3 suits serviced here. The guy who helped me was friendly, I had my son with me and he was making conversation with him while putting my order in. They love the SF Giants here, you will see a lot of Black & Orange in the store. The location is convenient and easy to find, not too many parking spots. However, they have two slots designated for the cleaners. The guy who helped me asked me if I needed the suit first thing on Monday morning. Just picked up 6 pieces of clothing from getting dry cleaned and my experience was great! I feel like the price was not too bad- considering the amount of items that I got taken in. When I dropped it off on Wednesday around 2pm they told me it would not be ready the same day- but that was okay because I was in no rush. I'm very particular about paying for any kind of cleaning service. Whether it's dry cleaning, car washes, carpet cleaning, etc. Doesn't matter. When I pay someone to wash/clean anything for me, it better look like new once it's done. I had two meetings in San Bruno last Thursday with two different vendors. After my first meeting I, like an idiot, spilled a good amount of Gatorade (the red stuff) all over my white shirt and blazer. I tried my best to clean it myself in a gas station's bathroom but nothing was working and there was no way to cover it up. Since I took Bart to San Bruno, there was no way I could go home to change and show up to the meeting on time. So I went on Yelp to find a nearby cleaner and that's when I stumbled on One Hour Dry Cleaning. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Excellent. I called before showing up. The lady on the other line was very nice. She told me they guarantee one-hour service just as long as I bring my stuff in before 11am Monday-Thursday. I eventually arrived like 10 minutes after 11am but they still accepted my shirt and blazer. The guy at the front register was really nice and, ummm, extremely jolly. He seemed like this super happy guy without a worry in the world. After inspecting my garments, he told me the stain wouldn't be a problem and everything would be ready in an hour. While he was collecting my stuff, he recommended a nearby Japanese restaurant if I was hungry and and started talking about his family. He wouldn't stop talking about his son and how proud he was of him. It was a little weird because I didn't know the guy but, hey, I can respect that. Really cool dude. I can't say enough about their service. CLEANLINESS: I came back an hour later to find everything ready. When the guy had me check everything out, I was pretty shocked how well they turned out. My shirt looked as white as its ever looked and my charcoal blazer was spotless. Honestly, I was pretty skeptical at first but they totally proved me wrong. They literally saved my life that day. Not kidding, with how much I had to go through before my meeting, One Hour Dry Cleaning really put me at ease with how well they handled my whole situation. I will NEVER go back to this place again! I took my 2010 Giants World Series hat to get dry cleaned & when they returned it to me the button on the top of the hat was missing. They said, "we lost it. It's an old hat anyway." Geez for someone who's such a big SF Giants fan you would think that he would appreciate that my hat had a sentimental value. After arguing my point for 3 minutes he said well, "It's an old hat, there's no guarantee." No guarantee? How about don't clean it & they lose my damn button! He would not pay to replace my hat! I went there for wash & fold service. the price quoted me for $1.75 per lb and didn't say anything about minimum. When I am picking it up, he charged me $18.0. Today, I went down with the same package and asked him to weight it for me. It turns out (with my travel bag) the total weight is only 8 lbs. (give or take my bag weight at least a couple lbs). and he quickly said there is a $15.0 minimum. I don't mind to pay the minimum becaz I only bring so many clothes to change and I need clean clothes to carry on. But not being honest on the charges is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Very disappointed. I chose this place because of the positive reviews. For a 5 lb wash & fold I was charged for the double of the weight. After complaining, the owner tried to justify the extra charge with cheap excuses: a fee for the "quick service", yet the clothes were not ready on time, and a self-awarded 15% tip! I was a regular customer, dropping off several items weekly for dry cleaning. My patronage amounted to several hundred dollars a month in revenue for this business. I recently brought in some items on a Monday morning; this business is called "One Hour Dry Cleaning". I went to pickup my clothing the next day, around noon, almost 30 hours later. I told the owner my last name and he panicked and asked me if I could come back in an hour because they hadn't started it, I told him I had to be at work with my clothing in an hour. He said they needed 30 mins to an hour, so I agreed to wait but I told him I don't think I should have to pay for the service since they didn't hold up their end. Unfortunately, now I was going to be an hour late to work, losing out on an hours worth of pay and also having to tell my supervisor I would be in late. I came back an hour later, and he charged me full price. I asked him if I could have a reduced price at least since it wasn't ready within an hour as advertised (and I lost an hours worth of pay at work since I was now an hour late). He asked "how much do you want to pay?" in very condescending tone. When I told him I don't think I should have to pay for the service since it's called One Hour Dry Cleaning and he had more than 24 hours to do the job and failed. He told me he can't always have everything done in time...understood, but as a frequent customer, it's not fair to me if I am paying for an advertised time-sensitive service, I give him over a day to complete the task, and in the end, I still have to pay full price. Upon entering the unfriendly woman in her mid 30's looked at us very curious as to why "we came into a cleaners to have a shirt dry cleaned" She then stated telling me the top was sun bleached... which I and my neighbor clearly showed her different, then she told us she could not see obvious food stains that we pointed out, next she said the top was a crinkle (wrinkled style) Not... Then she told us she could not assure us we would like the results. Finally it hit us ... She did not want our service. I asked for my top back and left. Was it we were Latina and mixed Latina?? I am prompted to think so and I don't care what their other fans say of our review they did not experience what we did so don't bother with replies about our review. This was the cheapest place I found that dry cleaned my lace tulle wedding dress. It had 3 layers and only costed me $150. There was so much dirt and twigs on my dress and it now looks brand new :). Recently went here because a friend of mine told me how great the service was. I came in around 9am and asked if I could have my shirt by the end of the day along with some other clothes so I could wear it the next day. The owner, Soo, said it was no problem and asked for my name and number so I could be added into their computer system. I came around 6 to pick my clothes and right off the bat he recognized me from this morning. Along with my new cleaned clothes, he gave me a lint remover as a "christmas gift." Definitely needed one of those because my dogs shed so much. overall- great experience, prices are reasonable. (I was charged more for some shirts than others because of fabric differences- which makes sense because some of the clothes i gave him were quite delicate and needed EXTRA care). btw- love the Giants theme going on at this store. Some dry cleaners that I go to are quite dull with their decorations and have these generic posters everywhere...but not this one... GIANTS STUFF EVERYWHERE.
