I have driven past this location for years & never realized it was there. Went to meet friends at another close business that happened to be closed, so a friend suggested this place. It's a super cute little location, with very friendly staff, & tasty coffees. I ordered one of their specials, a hot peppermint mocha coffee. My friend took me here on a lazy Saturday morning. The baristas and workers were all so gracious, kind and friendly. The atmosphere is very laid-back and comforting. There is a little outdoor area where you can take your dog (as we did) and enjoy your cup of coffee. I ordered the dirty chai latte (with oatmilk) and it was very delicious and had the right hints of spices that make dirty chais unique. Paloma is my favorite coffee shop of all time! Where do I start? The inside of the restaurant is adorable. It is fresh, modern, and decorated with a ton of plants. The coffee is expensive, but worth it. They do coffee the right way here. I love their lattes, they have a variety of different flavors but don't use syrup when they make them. Their caramel latte they melt down real caramel. My personal favorite is the vanilla bean. All the desserts served in the restaurant are homemade from local bakers around the Windermere area. The owners are fabulous, they are so kind and have great hospitality whenever I come. They are willing to share their expertise on coffee as well. read more

If you appreciate good coffee, tea, and an easy to work in environment, this is the coffee shop for you. I usually don't frequent local coffee shops as I usually feel like people in them are stuffy and judge you if you don't drink your coffee a certain way, but this place couldn't be further from that. Lino is quick to kindly chat with anyone that walks through his doors and even showed us how he brews the perfect green tea. Pretty cute, but they're still not open inside which is pretty surprising since all the shops I've been to so far have inside seating. Taste- When you open the door and step in, you are warmly greeted by a robust coffee smell that is unlike any other coffeehouse. The coffee beans are from a specialty roaster in Miami called Panther Coffee and each drink is a perfectly-crafted cup of love. The lavender latte, iced latte, and nitro cold brew are my go-to drinks and I sometimes find myself staring at the menu calculating how I can somehow have all three at once. You can't go wrong with any of their homemade syrups, locally-sourced cakes and macaroons, or fresh Florida teas. On a sunny summer day I order a refreshing Limotana (iced hibiscus tea mixed with local lemonade) or an iced coconut milk matcha and sit in the shade of the trees in the back patio. Atmosphere- The atmosphere is simultaneously bright and relaxing. The white walls are contrasted with colorful greenery and eccentricly vibrant seating and decor. Each room has a slightly different theme and all of them are highly instagrammable. In terms of noise levels, I've experienced it all here: On weekdays I used to come in to write research papers for my master's program and it became my quiet sanctuary. On weekends I've walked in and seen kiddos running around spending time with their families. This is a place that welcomes all kinds of coffee and tea lovers. Service- The owner, Lino, always has something kind to say. He loves recommending flavor combinations, as well as talking up his network of local businesses whose treats he sells. Not only does everyone that works there give great recommendations, they also all know how to perfectly craft absolutely exquisite drinks. Honestly, I think the location is the best part about it, tuckered in right in the heart of gorgeous tree-laden main st. in Windermere. The service is what you'd expect from a local coffee shop, hipsters. The owners, however, are really cool and pleasant. The ambiance is very IKEA catalogue and just doesn't have a cozy vibe, seems more of an order and go operation. I just wish they'd make the interior more warm and friendly. It's very sterile. The coffee coffee is really good! And the snacks are absolutely fucking delicious to be honest. I usually get a cold brew and leave there amped and happy! What a great little gem in Windermere. If you love dining local and love coffee, please check them out. I was driving by and missed my turn to where I was heading and knew this was my sign that u needed to stop in and I dont regret it. Due to social distancing they were only allowing 1 customer in at a time and so I waited patiently on the side walk waiting my turn. Upon entering I was greeted with a smile and a hello. I quickly checked out the menu and decided on a Iced caramel latte. Despite the nice selection of other treats I stuck with just the coffee. He headed to the back, where you would normally order and started working on my drink. When he returned he brought the tablet with him that I had seen him clean after the previous customer and in was able to cash out safely. We also had a great conversation about their coffee, giving me a little background on it. He also shared that their vanilla is Madagascar Vanilla, the mocha and their caramel are also made in house for their coffees. A friend threw me a tip about this cute coffee shop in Windermere, Paloma Coffee Co! It is very cute indeed; modern finishes, neon signs .... But completely closed inside to guests. In an abundance of caution, currently only 1 person at a time can enter for ordering at their makeshift counter at the entryway. * However, Paloma Coffee Co. has a lovely courtyard in the back that is wonderfully shaded and full of friendly plants. Highly recommend this as a nice workspace if you need to change it up. * Got the Dirty Chai latte and a fruit bar. The latte is smooth and creamy with nice warm spices. They make their own syrups, so I'd like to try the vanilla next time. The fruit bar from Olde Hearth Bread Company had great texture! Paloma Coffee Co is a lovely addition to Main St. As soon as I walked in I loved the clean and comfortable feel that welcomed me. I ordered a Mocha Latte and a danish. ($10.12) The coffee was outstanding and good enough to inspire me to go out of my way to visit often. I also thought that the quality of the danish was superb. As a warning I will share that I was a little confused at first because when you step through the door and turn right you see a small bakery and straight takes you to a coffee counter. I wanted both so I "ping ponged" between the two before coming to the understanding that you make your decision at the bakery and pay at the coffee counter. The bakery didn't have a coffee menu and the coffee counter didn't have a bakery menu. Or at least that is how the barista silently lead the process. Words cannot ever describe how happy I was to have this open! I moved here right as the salon prior was closing and purchased a few items, so I am glad to see it's not sitting vacant. The gal behind the counter up front ended up being the owner or owners daughter I don't remember, but she was just genuinely nice and loved what she did! That is soooooo reassuring as a guest in the café! (also much appreciated since that is not usually the case in this area!). Coffee orders go in at the very back counter. Neat little display area with small items for sale over along the long side wall. I just loved that all the sugars and syrups were displayed in containers instead of just bins with paper packets. Look, this place isn't fancy. The shop itself is small and has a clean, modern aesthetic. The menu is small, and there aren't any crazy coffee flavor options. But man, guys, when your coffee is THIS good, you can afford to keep things simple. These people love their coffee. They love it so much that they use all homemade flavorings for their flavored drinks. The vanilla latte has real vanilla bean seeds in it. The pumpkin spice latte in the fall has real pumpkin it it. Magical. The pastries are also all handmade in small batches locally as well, and they almost always have at least a couple vegan options. Everything I've tasted--from the biscotti to guava-and-cheese pastries--has been exceptional. I'm so glad I finally got to visit Paloma Coffee! Unfortunately I didn't get to have the full on coffee experience as every seating area is completely closed off due to COVID. It's relieving to see that they're being extra precautions and taking safety measures seriously but I kinda found it a bit extreme when I read a sign on the door that said 'Only one person allowed when ordering' or something along those lines. Any who, I ordered an iced lavender latte and the girl that took my order was very nice. The order was delivered rather quickly and the coffee was good overall. Visited for the first time yesterday and it was such a pleasant and delightful experience. The barista at the front (didn't get their name) was super kind and helpful with their suggestions. They made me feel really welcomed, comfortable and confident in my drink order. Highly recommend The Beverly tea with lavender for a sweet, relaxing beverage. Paloma Coffee is tucked away in the village center of Windermere, and does a great job at serving as a quaint place to rest. Walking in the front door you're greeted by beautiful plants to your left, and tasty treats to your right. The seating is pretty limited inside, but if you manage to snag a table or a spot on that comfy couch, absolutely take it! It's cozy and inviting to stay for a quick cup or hang out. These guys are whipping up some Panther Coffee to bring the sweet tastes of South Florida to Orlando. After talking with the owner, my friend and I got to really understand the reasons behind the partnership with Panther, but above all the attention to detail in each cup. It's really great to hear the story of how the shop came to be, and see that passion firsthand. Now to the drinks! I had a nitro cold brew white, and friend had the cold brew black. The white is made with a hint of vanilla and half and half. I typically drink my coffee black so I get nervous about drinks being too sweet. I can say this was insanely smooth, and the vanilla "took the edge off" for those need it. The cold brew black is also an excellent choice for those that don't want the added bells and whistles. Paloma also has some great latte options that I'm excited to try in the future. I will say from downtown Orlando it's a bit of a drive to get out there, but it's 110% with it. read more

I immediately felt the warmth of home. I was greeted by owner Marcelino Hoyo and his daughter Arianna, and it was clear before even asking that this is a family-owned business. They recently opened in downtown Windermere on Main Street, and Marcelino expressed his gratitude towards the community for their warm welcome. He relayed to me that locals had been sharing the opening all over social media as well as on the popular NextDoor website. The shop got its name by paying homage to Marecelino's mother, and you'll find a picture of her on the cafe wall sitting among several white doves at Parque de la Paloma in Puerto Rico. You'll find a few more gems of that history and culture displayed throughout the space, bringing together that feeling of family and pride. Their coffee menu is varied with cold brew, espresso based drinks using Panther coffee, brewed to order options including Chemex, Kalita Wave, and French Press. They have a selection of JoJo Tea, matcha and black tea lattes for non-coffee lovers. They also carry local Kombucha brand Humble Bumble. Along with beverages, they have baked goods that they source both from Old Hearth and another local baker. There are vegan options as well. Greenery is everywhere and many succulents and planters are for sale. They are locally sourced from Florida Cactus and Hanging Tree Nursery among others. It is officially opening on Thursday, so they are still in soft opening phase to get into a groove. Windermere was definitely in need of a place like this and I'm super glad that we finally have a nice coffee shop that isn't a chain. The nitro brew coffee machine was broken, but will be coming back to try that. Ordered a Nicaragua coffee bean, with a Chemex brew style. You get to choose between 4 different brewing styles and the kind of bean that you want. Coffee beans are definitely on point - they get them from Panther coffee down in Wynwood. Only thing I would say to improve this place would be to serve the coffee in a mug. Finally another option than chain/coffee in this side of town. We all love Axum, Foxtail and Credo, as we all should. And now there's finally an option south of 408 and west of I4. The happiest thing, beside the adorable staff, is that they serve Matcha Latte. And not the Starbucks sweet green sugary version. To the taste it is ceremonial grade matcha and they automatically put soy milk in the latte. Amen. This is officially my #2 place to get matcha in the Orlando area. read more
