I 100% agree with the other reviewers who stated that they are very disrespectful to residents on the street that they park on and that they are highly unprofessional. The driving instructors do not seem to know their own craft and have no common courtesy. When they knick/bump parked cars, they act as if nothing happened. The owner is completely in denial of any of this and therefore will not make appropriate changes necessary to improve their practices. My husband's money was stolen last year, when he wanted to make an online appointment with the motor vehicle registration, he was blocked, because the school reported that he did not go to the appointment, which was a lie, but they reported it that way to steal the money. If I could put 0 stars I would, honestly this school was very unprofessional and unorganized. They honestly cared about the money that was being brought in by the students instead of the students themselves. The driving instructor that was given to me was very hard to understand and whenever I did something wrong I was never critiqued on it. Whenever I wanted to set an appointment they never allowed it over the phone, their costumers service over all was really bad and I would not recommend for you to waste your money nor time you don't have going there. read more

The people that work at this place are rude, disrespectful and mean. They are constantly yelling at residents of the streets on which they park their cars, taking up resident spaces. I have seen the instructors and the students on a daily basis hit parked cars and just continue on and not leave a note or anything. read more

Normally I like to keep my reviews short because no one has that much time BUT I feel like every single detail of this counts. 1. all payments MUST be made in cash! 2. the school, although on a main road, is VERY hard to find when driving or walking by. The business has a small green sign with white letters. good luck finding it the first time. 3. don't, I repeat, DO NOT, take classes during the afternoon hours when there's traffic because it would take you just 45mins to get from your picked up location to an area safe enough to practice. try at all costs to take classes around 9am-1pm. 4. My teacher spent 3 out of the 5 classes ($240) on his phone watching videos, talking to insurance companies, or calling people. Perhaps he felt safe because I knew how to drive but that wasn't ok. BUT once he got off his phone he was pretty good. 5. once I was done with my classes, I paid for the teacher to take me to the test ($130) and the lady told me she was going to call me by the following weekend, that never happened in fact,it took her almost three weeks to give me a test day. This was after I got tired of waiting for her and I called her. 6. test day came around. I was told my test would be @ 4pm and it ended up starting at 4:46pm, I left out of there @ 6:30pm, so please ensure to bring a snack for the process. ALSO, the teacher who drove us to the test spoke NO ENGLISH, none. he was talking the entire way there I'm assuming giving tips and tricks but no English came out of his mouth. 7. would I recommend them? No! & Yes. no because costumer service is none existent and they have a million ways to not be honest about the process. yes, because they were the most affordable company I found. read more

I choose this driving school as it was pretty close to my home and it's not that expensive. One lesson is $45 but if you take a package of 5 or more it's cheaper. I really liked my teacher Ronald. He was great. I had some challenge with parking, I know it's not surprising to hear from girl;) and he was showing me over and over until I got it. He is extremely patient and great teacher. Also when we were driving for a test he took whole group to the possible way that instructor might take us. I though that was very nice and as a new driver it was very calming for me to get a bit familiar with road. This place getting 3 stars only for this teacher. Customer service need to get better. First of all one of the ladies on front desk does not speak English so it's extremely hard to understand her. Second it took them forever to schedule a road test or a class. It's seems like they forgetting so you need to call and remind them about yourself which I think is ridiculous. I also think they need to update the car people getting train as breaks are kind of weird, it takes a whole for a car to stop. However I still recommend this school as I did learn a lot from my teacher who prepare me for a test. read more

This driving school is horrible. I don't recommend anyone go here. They are unprofessional and disorganized. I go to take my road test which I was told was scheduled for 6am. I get to the location at 5:50am. No one gets there until 6:30am. The driving school instructors come and I find out 20 other people are scheduled with me. Some people were instructed to me at the driving school and were given a number for the order in which they will take the test. My number was 15, even though I was the first to arrive at the location and I scheduled my test over a month ago. Even with my number being 15, they did not follows number order and people with higher numbers than me went before me. read more

This place is very unprofessional. My younger sister had her first driving lesson yesterday and was very excited. However, things did not go well for her. We paid for 2 hours of driving lessons and my sister only received 20 minutes. The gentlemen that gave her the suppose driving lesson was yelling at her and saying remarks like "do you know how to follow instruction." Such remarks should not be made especially if someone does not have any driving experience. This experience made my sister feel extremely discouraged and traumatized. But I didn't feel as confident so then I schedule another hours $45 and they had scheduled me for Saturday then JACKLYN texted me said she scheduled my road test when I was never ready nor had I told to schedule it. Then the Saturday comes and no calls me no one answer and all she could say that her job is to text people when there appointment is scheduled. Mind you I was supposed to have an hour class at 2pm and no one was in the office no one could give me a call nothing . Then I texted JACKLYN since no one else was answering or calling me back and she had the nerve to say well I'm not working today so call the office bye I'm shoveling and clicked on my face... that was rude. I'm calling Sunday all day to let them know I wasn't ready since one could call me Saturday .. Monday comes the office is closed no one is answering. Tuesday comes the office is closed once again no one is calling me back or answering. The Wednesday comes I'm calling and they answered. It was JACKLYN that answered the phone with an attitude and she she will have her manager call me .. so I waited till he called me then he wants to talk over and be rude and tell me I'm not getting my money back the only money he could give me is the $45 that paid last .. so basically I didn't get my hour class and I didn't get my road test but they could stay with all the money .. My son went to Paloma Driving School in Roslindale and we paid in full the amount owed along with the 15.00 money order required by them to send off his completion certificate to the RMV.. To date the RMV has not received the certificate (4 months later) and when I call them their voice mail is completely full so guess what!! You can't leave a message. PLEASE if you are looking for a place to have your child take driving lessons do not choose Paloma Driving School. One more thing their English is very poor and if you take classes in the Summer, plan on sweating as they have NO AC in the classroom. I hope this helps someone.. read more

Her popular phrase is "am not the own of the business. She is unprofessional. The drivers are uncivilized and unprofessional. One of the driver was sleeping while I was driving. There is no task for the day, the driver just want you to drive around the whole Boston like I don't have car to drive around. They cancel me with no refund plan put in place. Paluma driving school, Jackie at the front desk was extremely nice and friendly, the driver trained me was Ronald, was an excellent trainer. Today was the road test, with i think was the Co. owner. here is what happened: he was a real ass hole, the test was suppose to be @ 3, he told us to come to the office @ 4, by the time he picked up the rest of the people and got to Dorchester it was 5:30. The car was extremely baaaaad, the dash board which was suppose to be lit, it was off, during the test i couldn't see anything on the dash board, the gas paddle was loose, i couldn't control the speed as well as 7 more students. when we told him it was because of the car he got, he was very rude & told us that it's our fault, and he was using his hand and waving in our faces. don't ever go there again. read more

I have been trying to reach anyone at this company for weeks now! I live on the street adjacent to this business and they park their commercial vehicles on our resident parking only street. Employees of the business have been extremely rude to residents on this street, as well. I have called and asked to speak to a manager and no one has called me back in weeks! All my life I had a terrible fear of driving. Finally in my mid 20's I knew that I had to suck it up and get over my fears. I found this driving school and their prices were amazing! I read a bad review on a different site and was a little concerned however when I called the office the gentleman that picked up was extremely pleasant. I got booked with the same driving teacher that I previously read the negative review about and he was one of the nicest and most patient teachers anyone could ever ask for!!! I was a handful because I never drove before and had a terrible fear of driving. Mr.Paloma took his time with me and made sure I got over my fears. After several lessons I finally was ready to take my driving test. I was so nervous but Mr.Paloma assured me that I would be fine. He took a group of us to the location of the driving test and was very helpful. I COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER TEACHER. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING. I have now been driving for over 6 months and am so happy!!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!! Ask to have lessons with Mr.Paloma when you call. They might seem cheaper than other driving schools but don't waste your money. They are extremely unorganized, once you pay to book the classes with the instructors, who by the way do not speak English and are very difficult to understand, it takes forever! The receptionist is clueless and has no idea when the parent classes or road test can be scheduled. After waiting a month and multiple calls, leaving messages which they never return I finally got my daughter booked for her road test! The day before her road test I called to confirm the time to be told that the registry never got her paperwork and they had to reschedule her test! You would have assumed that I would have received a call back with a new date but of course I didn't and I was back to calling and not getting my calls returned. After getting upset with the receptionist I finally got a new date for my daughter but by now over two months shad past so I requested that they give her a lesson prior to her test, the only time available was during school which I refused to have her miss! I decided to have her go for the road test because I had given her some lessons and taught that she was ready. Unfortunately the car that Paloma used for the test had issues with the steering wheel, which the state trooper acknowledge. Since my daughter had not had a lesson for so long she was not use to the car that was used so my daughter along with 8 other people that Paloma brought that day failed the test! When you have so many people that your sponsoring fail that's says a lot about your company! I have now decided to take my daughthter to a different driving school which I was able to book 5 hours of driving and the road test with just one phone call. Please do your research, go visit the office and you will see the filth and how unorganized these people are. I hope this review helps someone not make the same mistakes we did. read more

I work in customer service, and they 100% do not know anything about it. I signed up for 2 classes and scheduled my test through them, I have had 1 class in 3 months and when I called to schedule my next one they kept telling me I will do it the day of my test. Well they have scheduled my road test and didn't tell me until I called. They also scheduled it while I was working so when I called to reschedule she said I can't and I would lose my money. Her lack of English is very frustrating when dealing with scheduling & paying. when I asked about my last driving hour she scheduled it out of the business hours and said she would call me if it was happening... never called. I showed up and the school didn't. This business is very underwhelming I wish they would get their act together and focus on the services they are supposed to be providing, they have no urgency for peoples needs and don't give a flying fart in space if something doesn't work for the person paying their only response will be "well you will lose your money". Also when I went to ask for the address of where my test was, she gave me the wrong address, when I asked how to get there she said get an Uber. really a terrible experience someone needs to revamp this whole operation. read more
