Came here to celebrate a birthday and the experience was.... interesting to say the least. We called ahead to make a reservation and was told there was only one high top and everything was booked. We get there within 10 minutes and there's literally no one. Emphasis on NO ONE. Fine, so we sit at the high top. The place is in not so great condition and they were working on electrical wiring while we were eating. The bathrooms didn't even have door handles. There was one server and she was so lovely. She was friendly and attentive to our needs. Really trying her best to handle everything as she was the only employee there. The food was ok and the portions were big. The artichoke app could have been cooked a bit more and one of our baked clams was completely raw. Overall it was just an ok experience. The ambiance was not great and that was hard to get over. read more

Update: Visited Saturday, August 27, 2022. Brianna the waitress was amazing. 5 stars for Brianna. The food was 3 stars. Ordered Calamari & Mozzarella appetizers. Unfortunately, the Calamari came out with a hair in the dish. They took it away and brought a new dish. Not a big issue for us. The replacement dish was hot and appeared like a fresh replacement dish. Again, unfortunately, it smelled like fish. That's not a good sign of freshness. Mozzarella was good. Ordered the surf and turf dinner to split since we had 2 appetizers. The steak was marinated in an odd tasting marinade. The meat was tender and it was edible. We just didn't understand it. The salmon was dry. No good. The mashed potatoes was great and the veggie medley was good. I used to come and eat and drink there before COVID and had great experiences. I placed my order online 17 minutes before I went to pick up the order and they told me they didn't have my order. My card was charged $23. then they asked me if I wanted to wait for my order. They were going to place another order for me. I waited another 20 minutes outside in the cold weather . The guy tried to charge me $26. I asked him, "Why more money?" When I ordered online it was only $23. The guy charged me another $23 on a different credit card. I paid $46 for dry wings and garlic powder fries... good night. read more

I've been coming here for quite some time and I have yet to write a review! Let me tell you something ... if you're in the area this is a must try! The food is amazing, delicious, fresh, and you can order or eat there late because it's open until 4 am. The oysters are extremely fresh here and the drinks are made well too. The penne aka vodka tastes so good and creamy. The sauce is on point ! The arugula salad with their home made house vinaigrette is delicious. I will definitely continue coming here when I'm in the area. I like eating at the bar but if you're not in the mood for that, the tables in the back are also perfect. The service was nice, we dined on a Thursday evening. The ambiance was typical bar, could use a little freshening up, but was overall very clean including the bathrooms. This looks like a bar with really tasty food to eat. They had numerous pasta dishes that included steak, lobster, and muscles. We started off with French onion soup, it was delicious and fresh. We had mixed drinks that were a perfect proportion of alcohol to mixer. Wine tasted fresh, although it wasn't a weekend day there was a decent 6pm crowd, dishes being brought back to the kitchen were empty. The service was okay, seemed like they had been short staffed, the bartender was servicing the tables and the bar when we were there, I felt bad she was busy. We didn't catch her name but she was kind and attentive to our table. The entrees were flavorful and fresh. I had a clam and shrimp linguini dish and my mans had an Alfredo spinach and chicken entree. They had a variety of deserts, the rainbow cookie cake and banana cheesecake tasted fresh. Overall had an excellent dining experience, really wish I hadn't judged the front of the place for the food as I'd been living in the area for a few years. Will be back to dine again! read more

Formerly Palaminos, now Nunzi's is a great place to go out for a delicious meal and some cocktails. The inside was beautifully done over with great modern decor and the food is amazing. Went with my wife and some friends( a party of 5) and each one really enjoyed their meal. My wife had the wild caught Salmon, I had the grilled chicken BLT, our friends had the Lemon chicken, pear salad with chicken and my buddy had the stuffed filet of sole... the sides ranged from delicious homemade mashed potatoes, to fresh broccoli and carrots to nice crispy fries. All came out with beautiful presentation...Hopefully the place will catch on and do well since the name change... Whoever tries it will be back. I'll be back!! read more

Upon my first visit to the restaurant the service was great but the food was questionable. I did not appreciate having to return raw food and recooked and reserved the leftovers. That was so unprofessional. I have never had such a dreadful experience in a meal after having to see the review. I hope the owner provides better quality in their food. read more

Came here for a late lunch after visiting Sand Castle Pros: - Nice decor, comfy environment - The Palominos Salad (Baby Arugula greens topped w/Sliced beets, Roasted walnuts, Carrots, Red Onions & fresh Goat Cheese) was delicious. Just do not add the grilled chicken (the grilled chicken was tasteless and chewy). Cons: - The New England clam chowder and Lobster Bisque were pretty salty but the toasted baguette that came with both were delicious! - The waitress was nice but was drawn in different directions, they need more than one waitress after lunch hours - one of our orders was not brought out and we had to cancel it since we were done with our meals read more

Had steak and salmon. The salmon smelled very fishy and tasted awful. My husband could not finish his meal across from me because of the rank odor. Got home and within an hour was sick. This is a great place! My favorite meals: The RIBS!! OMG OMG OMG! The burgers are AMAZING! The drinks are on point! Try the coconut martini! Always great service! All the girls/guys are super polite and attentive and helpful without being the breathing down your neck kind of waiter. I went with my twins 1 year old and the waiter offered to cut the chicken tender for us in small pieces, such a sweet gesture and it was a GREAT BIG HELP for us. So hard to juggle us eating and feeding them and cutting up food. This place is great to come with friends and have fun but also great for a family meal. All with a fair price. I received A gift certificate for my sister to this restaurant. So I figured I'd give it a shot. My wife and I came here on a Friday night. It's not my type of restaurant or bar. Food was not edible. Burger was soggy. The lobster bisque soup was OK. When the waitress came & cleared the table she did not want to charge us for our food.she was a nice waitress unfortunately I don't know her name. we didn't eat any of it. This bar/restaurant has been many names over the years, now it's Palominos and they finally got it right! The food is very good, has become more upscale in the last 2 years and they now have a pretty extensive wine and martini list. The beer choices are awesome and they serve Shock Top pumpkin ale all year round now. Bobbie is a great bartender and knows her stuff. The bar menu is very big with a lot of yummy things to choose from. They have your typical bar food and creative original items including different burgers and sliders. The calamari is excellent and their spinach artichoke dip is very yummy. They have a cozy restaurant in the back that serves a variety of Italian dishes and steaks. The atmosphere is very cozy at the bar and in the restaurant. Great place to watch the game or have a romantic meal. I believe the kitchen is open every night until 4 AM. Stopped by after a movie with two girlfriends on a Friday night. It was a little confusing walking in because no one greeted us, we sort of wandered into the back restaurant area since there were no seats available in the front. After standing around awkwardly, we were seated. The front is a bar area, the music was good. Our waitress was friendly, but noticeably became a little frustrated because we were indecisive -- okay in our defense there were so many burgers to choose from!! I ordered the grilled cheese burger, it was gigantic, unique and tasty. It was really huge though and I ended up eating one of the grilled cheese sandwiches separately. We also ordered sweet potato fries that were terribly undercooked. I planned on mentioning that to the waitress but she didn't return after dropping it off until it was time for the check. We didn't need to order drinks because there was a beer promo going on that night, and though I forgot the name it was actually really good! The drinks are decent. The food was not good at all. My husband had the surf and turf and I had the salmon and steak. First the presentation was horrible. Both our plates were full of liquid. The steak was marinated in some kind of sauce that was quite bitter. My salmon was chard and dry. My husband's surf was bread crummy. The potato was too cheesy , not good. I came to this bar for almost a decade. I was well known to the staff... but that didn't stop them from nickel and diming me over everything I ordered. The staff (for the most part) is snobby, a bit cold and unwelcoming. The food gets the job done, nothing excellent, but I will say the pizza is delicious! Unfortunately the way I was treated became to unbearable for it to be worth a visit anymore. I feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. The food was good here. Why I am giving it three stars is because of the bartender. I am not sure of her name but I thought she was very rude toward me. When I entered to get my food for take out she gave me a look as in why am I here? She didn't say anything to me when I came. Most workers give a nice warm greeting. Instead I just got a rude look. Would highly recommend!!! The owner is a family friend, so I've been going since they have opened. Literally every single thing on the menu is excellent as well as the drinks. Amazing steak, burgers, pasta dishes and ribs. They also have the best spinach dip appetizer I've ever had. Below, I have posted a picture of the ribs, bobbies bow tie pasta which is pasta with spinach and chicken in a creamy garlic sauce and the spinach dip. There is something for everyone on the menu. They have a separate restaurant in the back, nice ambiance, perfect for a date or family, and a bar in the front. The place is clean and the staff is amazing especially Bobbie up at the bar. I came her with my friends for late night drinks. The bar area is on the small side but functional. They had a great variety of late night drinks and snacks. I ordered the Caribbean coconut martini which was out of this world. They also had a cool machine that you pay for the music you want. The only downside to this place was that there was only one bartender and i felt really bad for the lady by herself. She did an amazing job though! read more
