Pal's is awesome! I've eaten there three times thus far and have not been disappointed. Pal's has been open for almost a year and its the hottest spot in North Platte. It's located just south of I-80 on Buffalo Bill Avenue. The beer is solid and their pizza is top notch. I would suggest pairing the Palgian Pale or the Barely Red with the Supremo pizza. Delicious! They're prices were reasonable. I would be concerned that small town folk may balk at the prices but I'm from Omaha so I think they're well priced. My only criticism is more of a growing pain than a true criticism. They were having a difficult time figuring out the staffing situation because they don't have a lot of history to predict crowd swells. The staff they have are great. They just need more of them at peak hours. When I was there they were still doing some construction on the beer garden. Apparently they will be adding bar games and a stage for some live music. If you've ever been to Blue Blood Brewery in Lincoln, that's what they're trying to achieve. Overall Pal's Brewing is probably the best place in North Platte. read more

On a long drive from Chicago to Colorado Springs, so glad we stopped here. It's worth the 5 minute drive off 80 to relax in a cozy, friendly place with great food and tasty beer. The atmosphere is casual. We had two food items off the menu. The Wisconsin pizza and pals chicken chorizo nachos, both fresh and tasty. We tried 5 of the brews, explosive blueberry, Paleian blonde,Almost red roasted, English brown porter and Herbie red ryePA. All were enjoyable. It's rare to find a new brewery where you like ever beer you order, but we did it at this place. They know what they're doing. We ordered a growler of the favorite,Almost red roasted, to take with. They have plenty of inside and outside seating. Cornhole for the kids. This place is a gem. Skip the fast food and spend a few relaxing minutes off the road. We'll definitely be back, it will be a planned rest stop on our next trip east. And if I were a local I could see this as my local hangout. This place has it all, vibe, food and drink. The Hog Heaven pizza was amazing, especially when it was paired with the IPA and and or root beer. I probably should have ordered more, my kids acted like they never ate pizza before. Travel to North Platte a few times a year for work and saw Pals reviews on Yelp so decided to check it out. I love breweries and pizza, so right up my alley. Got the IPA which was very good and quite hoppy. The pizza had some interesting choices. Tried the beer mustard sauce...imagine spicy dijon mustard with a beer flavor. Was a little skeptical at first but was actually very, very good. Got it with Bratwurst sausage...of course. The location is out in the sticks for sure, maybe 2 miles from the interstate, but well worth the detour. Big open area outside as well that looks great when the weather cooperates. read more

Meh... as one who is gluten and dairy free, pretty poor selection. What they did have tasted like cardboard. As for the sorghum beer... It was somewhat tolerable, no I doubt it I will order it again. Unexpected pleasure found in N Platte, Nebraska! We stopped in N Platte last night on our way from St. Louis, Missouri to Wyoming and decided to eat dinner at Pals Brewing Co. The whole experience was above our expectations. The food was all delicious, the on-site brewed beers were creative and tasty, and the atmosphere was fun. We ordered the Baked Cheese Curd appetizer, Twisted Buffalo and Supremo pizzas, the IPA and Jalapeño Ale. All were fantastic! The servers were attentive and friendly, which made our experience completely enjoyable. If you are local to the N Platte area, there were Cornhole and Sand Volleyball leagues, and facilities for parties and events. All in all it was a wonderfully pleasant surprise. The service is amazing, the beers are amazing! The food took well over an hour for us to get, the pizza fries. Pretty sure they had to make the fries from scratch. Still waiting to taste our food, hoping it's worth the wait. And come to find out the pizza fries were just a cheese pizza that took an hour and 15 minutes to cook and it was not above par. Good beers. My husband enjoyed his flight. I had a bloody mary with wonderful fixin's in it and a beer chaser (it's one item on the menu). It was wonderful. Had the baked cheese curds. Dogs are allowed on the patio. It has a lawn area for kids to play. We didn't stay for dinner because a huge storm was approaching, but the people around us were loving the pizza. The waitress was excellent. She talked of their staged plans for adding a small stage for musicians outside and eventually growing their own hops, etc. I look forward to visiting again to see their well-planned dreams come true. Waited 20 minutes for a beer, told waitress we would be ordering food, she never came back. We waited 30 minutes - she worked tables all around us and blatantly ignored our table of 2. We finished our beers and walked out. I had to give my CC before even ordering my drinks, I would have paid cash but wasn't given that option, I guess they enjoy paying credit card fees on all of their transactions. Finally found a place in north platte Nebraska that is fun, has good food and craft beer. Our waitress robin was delightful. The pretzels were awesome and they even will do a half and half pizza so you can try two different ones. Menu limited to pizza, nachos etc. but what we had was tasty. There's even a salad on the menu. Nice outdoor seating. Beer was interesting but not outstanding tho we sampled a few. iPA was good but not as hoppy as we like. Served in13 ounce glasses versus pints. Not sure why since iPA was low alcohol. Definitely a nice addition to the area. We travel thru twice a year and we have tried all the others. read more

North Platte is very lucky to have this, its first brewery, in town. First, the beer itself is very good. The IPA is full, balanced and finishes well. The red and the porter are also very good beers. Moreover, the building and grounds are just tremendous! Great outdoor area and is family friendly, with bands, games and everything. We were staying the night in town on our way through and visited this brewery based on the reviews on Yelp. We were not disappointed. Beer was great, pizza even better and even though we were told that they were short staffed we thought the servers were very attentive. The beer that they made was fantastic. Had a jalepenos cream beer that smelled and tasted like a jalepenos popper. Also had the pizza fries, which were cheesey bread sticks essentially and a pizza called the Wisconsin. The cheesey bread was great but the pizza was even better. You have to pick the night to go carefully as they're busy. We visited mid-week late afternoon and still several tables were full. We enjoyed three different pizzas and both squeaky and baked cheese curds. My preference was baked but others liked squeaky ;) Buffalo supreme and generic beef and pepperoni were tasted. All good. For the non drinkers they offered a tasting plank of 4 beers to try. Our favorite was the jalapeño beer. Who knew! read more
