$20 for a VERY small pizza with a chewy crust! I've had better frozen pizza. What a mistake stopping here as I was passing thru

9 people cost $330 with TIP. or $37 a person. You know the saying fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. BEWARE each soda refill costs $3.50 so not free refills.(Sorry I miss quoted price was going from what I thought I could remember) To top it off the Pizza was just ok in my opinion. If your looking for just a meal and spending time with your family there is better pizza else ware. Guess I should have payed closer attention when going to a new restaurant I have never been to. I also noticed that at the bottom of the menu there is a 20% tip automatically applied to open tabs? As for the tip waitress are allowed to be paid $2.13/hour plus gratuities. It is not the servers fault that the food was ok and not like a $30+ Godfathers pizza that I would gladly pay that price for a pizza. Response to owners tip comments. My wife has waited tables so she knows it is not the servers fault for the food unless it comes out cold. I can also tell you we have only paid over a 20% tip 1 time and the service was 5 star from start to finish. Where if you dropped your fork there was a person right there to pick it up and put a new fork down on your table with in seconds. I removed the photo since its no longer needed and the owner now knows it was a real post and not a bogus post. BTW of all there reviews only 17 are from locals. read more

Great place to stop and have some lunch or dinner when your on the road. The beers are solid and they have rotating series of beers. Food is solid and had good flavor. I was happy to stop here on the way to Denver and will go back. My friends have stopped here a few times since. read more

After we received our food, I realized that I had not got what I had ordered. After talking to one of our many servers, the lady adjusted our bill. When we went to check out, the 5th server said he had to check something on our bill. When we received it, everything was back on the bill. This place was amazing!! Started out with a flight of beers. Oh did I mention we were staying here overnight as part of the Harvest Host program!!! Fantastic stop!! We then had a pint of our favorite, mine was the Big Pickle beer with a yummy crunchy dill pickle in it. Hubby was the jalapeño cream ale. We then ordered the baked curds! Yummo!!! WISCONSINITES! Check this place out! I moved to Nebraska 5 years ago from the Milwaukee area, and this place makes me feel nostalgic. The cream ales are great, they have squeaky cheese curds, and the make a great WISCONSIN old fashioned. The tasting room reminds me of a German beer hall and there's a cool outdoor space which is fun when the weather is nice out. We stopped on our way through town and were excited to try here because of the good reviews. The beer was good and so was the ambiance. But, the service was not very good, we had to go up to the bar a couple of times to get our drinks. Our appetizer came out after one of our pizzas. We ordered two pizzas, the supremo and BBQ chicken. We got one pizza and then the appetizer came out after. When I asked about the 2nd pizza our server looked at me like it was an odd request. She said the kitchen just gets them out when they are ready. We got our pizza about 15 minutes later, I haven't been at a restaurant when parts of the main meal were served so far apart, so some ate while others were waiting for their pizza. Our family loves pizza, but I would not recommend pizza from here. The crusts taste like they were frozen and possibly the sauce as well. It was not good at all. We only had pizza and soft pretzels (which were also subpar) so I can't speak for the rest of the menu. read more

Walked in on a Monday and this place was hopping! It was trivia night I think! Anyhow got a table in the back and ordered a flight of beer and enjoyed them all. Bought the raspberry and porter to take and share with family. Ordered up some cheese curds and they pretty darn good. Had the Hawaiian pizza and it was definitely a good choice. [Did not try food] Really solid breweries with creative beers that aren't scary at all (the jalapeño cream ale isn't not at all! And is quite good). I really have to make note of how great the service is, though. We were the only ones outside, yet still had WAYYYYY better service than the last couple beer places we checked out on our adventure. They have real beer menus (I know it's covid, but those QR code menus are a pain in the @$$ and dont even work for me)!, and the staff checked up on us frequently. Even though we just got a flight a piece. The outdoor back patio is also BEAUTIFUL, looks like a good time for beach volleyball and other cool stuff if people ever start wearing their masks and we can all play outside before 2022! I have no doubt their food crushes as well. Definite recommend if you're stopping by--definitely some beer everyone will like. read more

I get to North Platte a few times a year and usually have a good and fair priced meal at Pals. But much of that has changed. The menu looks to be hors d'oeuvres and pizza choices. We did not see a sandwich selection like the past. I would say the menu is very limited for a full service restaurant. Between 3 people, we had 3 small pizzas, 2 beers and one Coke. The bill came to just under $70 and not worth anywhere near that. Sorry Pals, but no more meet with friends after the bike rides. We will go elsewhere. read more

An oasis in the middle of nowhere. We stayed at the Pals owned B&B and as part of that they provided a food voucher at Pals. We were miles outside town but when we mapped it was just around the corner! Went there for dinner and we're seated immediately. After we ordered our food came out immediately... it's their policy to bring the food out as it comes out of the kitchen (they don't wait until it's all ready), we actually got our meals before the appetizers came out which was perfect because we were starving :) Only suggestion I would make is to invest in some oscillating fans... we sat outside and it was HOT!!!! There are posts all around the outdoor seating, the fans would keep air moving which would help with the heat and the flies. read more

We are traveling in our RV and needed a place to stop overnight. We reserved Pals through Harvest Host. Their RV area is big and spacious, great place to spend the night. Felt very safe and comfortable. We had dinner there at Pals. Great service, very friendly staff. It was a Friday night and it was busy. Lots of families, people out playing corn hole, kids having fun. We had their chicken chorizo nachos. Being Latinos we can be picky about nachos. These were great!!! Different but definitely great! We also had their bbq rib tips. Very tasty, cooked great and they serve plenty of them! Add a couple of their brews and it was a very good, very filling dinner. My wife tried the jalapeño beer. Great jalapeño tasting beer! Who knew?This place is wonderful! A great stop to overnight in your RV and great restaurant/food!! read more

This was my wife and my 4th visit to Pals Brewing in the past three years. Being from Wisconsin and having four granddaughters in Carmel, California, Pals makes it well worth driving and avoiding the airport hassle - - trust us. Along with a great lineup of house brews, Pals has probably the most unique and delicious menu of pizzas you can find anywhere. We usually share one at the bar and get three more to go (each one half-and-half), and head to our room for the night. Every month they create a monthly special pizza that is always a nice surprise, too. (Their Reuben in March was super!) The service is always fast and friendly and it's a very well run operation. Those Wisconsin guys have done this place up right! I've got to start driving faster because we're always getting there too late to meet them! read more

I wish I could give this place 4.5 stars, because it was pretty close to perfect for what we needed. My daughter and I are on a cross country road trip and we looked up this place when passing through Nebraska. The space is amazing, and there was even room for my dogs to run around a bit. The servers were extremely nice. The only reason this is not a higher rating is because the food was just okay. We ordered the queso dip as an appetizer, and I hate to say it, but it tasted just like a jar of queso dip that you would get at the grocery store. The margarita pizza happen to be the pizza of the week, and it was just okay. If I ever wake make my way back to Pals, I probably would not order those two items again. Beer, pizza and great service. Seriously where could you go wrong? Did a lot of Yelp research and found this great gem based on others reviews. Selection of brews was amazing providing literally something for everyone. Enjoyed a seasonal IPA on the recommendation from our beertender. These beertenders are seriously well versed in there beer which even helped me make my choice without a taste test. Food selection was good and their pizza choices were so difficult to choose from. They had a Thanksgiving pizza I almost had to try but my friend is super picky and not at all adventurous. That being said we easily found a pizza each with our own half that the ultimate decision was they were both delicious. I tried the Farmette while my friend had an amended version of on of the others no mushrooms, no this, no that.. But he was happy with his selection and even had wished we were hungrier so we could stay for more pizza and beer. Don't forget about their shirts! If only I lived closer or had a way to bring the beer back from my trip( pretty sure it would be over the TSA limit). Next time I am in town it will definitely be my first stop! read more

Traveling through North Platte, NE and after looking on Yelp for Brewery restaurant came across PALS Brewery. A little out of town but the 5 minute drive was worth it. Just off of I80. Wide selection of brews of every type from their brew house. Had a flight and all tasted great. Also on hand is a great menu of lots of types of bar food. Had the pretzels with beer mustard and the beef tips. Both very good. Outdoors has covered seating with cornhole games and sand volleyball. Great venue and they were setting up a mobile stage for live music tonight. Plenty of indoor seating as well. Fun place and I highly recommend. read more

We have a place on Lake Maloney and this is one of our regular spots. I love the team concept they use for service! It's fast, friendly and works extremely well. Nachos and cheese curds are a must! The pizza has a thinner crust that isn't too filling but is sturdy enough to hold all the ingredients. Did I mention the awesome craft beers? If you like beer, you won't be disappointed! This is an excellent locally owned brewery. The brews are all quite good. My favorite pineapple express is a summer flavor that I wish was offered year round. The baked cheese curds are soo good. Pizza comes out with a lovely crispy thin crust. Favorite being chicken bacon ranch, it has much flavor. Nachos are awesome. You can't go wrong here. read more

I've been here twice while on road trips. The beers are good and there a nice selection to choose from on tap. The bar is fairly large with a definite country ambiance. There is also a large patio and shaded grassy area where children and dogs can run around. The food is good with a nice selection of pizzas and appetizers including cheese curds. The service is a little bit hit or miss. They don't assign servers to an area so they just walk around and ask if you need anything. It always seems when you need something they aren't there and we saw them just hanging out behind the bar. I really think they need to implement a better system. read more

Heard good things about this brewery and decided to give it a try for lunch. The service was awesome, coming around often to see if we needed anything. Lots of choices in beers and others drinks. We got the "Pals Supremo" pizza and it was excellent, really hit the spot! The place is casual and has a great outdoor area with "cornhole" and other amenities. Would have been 5 stars, except for all the flies. If we are ever back in the area, we will be back for sure! read more
