I was able to get a spot right near the bridge to run in and get my take-out order. Upon entering, I realized it was "cash" only. I was a bit aggravated but that is the business's decision and that goes place to place. Who am I to decided how they would operate. Anyway, there is an ATM machine right in the lobby for customers with debit cards, credit cards or some other way to pay. My two cheese pizzas (one with extra sauce) was ready when I arrived so I got my cash and was out of there. When I finally was able to eat the pizza with my wife...boy, we were both happy and excited. The pizza was awesome. Great crust, fresh dough, awesome sauce and fresh cheese. I liked the size of the pizza and the price reflected that! Monte's has tables and booths inside but I took my to go, after a long day at the beach. They also have a bar. I would say 10-12 seats with Keno and a big TV. The service was swift and the lady that I dealth with was great! Price: low (this day and age) Vibe: easy going....family orientated Pepsi/Coke: I am not sure, I did not get a drink because they only offered 2 liters. For the price, $9.50, it was fine but not worth the drive. I'd rate it 5.1; very thin, almost no sauce and greasy. The salad was fine. The waitress was an older lady, very Boston but friendly. She is what kept this from a 2 star review. Like others mention, parking is tight and the place seems to attract an older crowd. I watched an old man back into a truck while leaving. So be careful where you park.
