Beef empanadas (fried and baked), ham and cheese, and alfajores de maicena
    Cintia F.

Was searching to see if there were any Argentinian places near me and found one right in my city! So happy I did because they were delicious! My favorite was the ham and cheese, and I've always loved fried beef empanadas. They were all so juicy in the inside and a perfect flakey delicious outside. I would buy the discs alone just to make empanadas at home, they're that good! Alfajores de maicena were good too, and Guido makes the empanadas to order so quickly. Definitely recommend next time you're in the mood for some Argentinian. Muy rico todo, hay que probar los de jamón y queso y las de carne frita. Muchísimas gracias Guido!

12/18/2025 First…read moretime here. Finally trying out since I was in the area. Take-out place only, so no places to sit and eat. There are a few chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their order, but no tables, no bathrooms. My wait time was 15-20 minutes. You can call in advance and pick-up as well to save time. Options: You can request for fried or baked empanadas. Sizes are quite small. Smaller than your hand. Made to order, so empanadas are served piping hot. CRIOLLA It's been awhile since I've last had empanadas, so decided to start with this. Very good starting point. The criolla was jam packed with ground beef, onions, eggs, olives and raisins. Loved the olives and raisins in it brought a briny and sweet flavor. It was very satisfying to eat, especially with the chimichurri. For reference, the spicy beef was similar in flavor profile minus the spicy kick. SPICY BEEF A must-try. This was super good! I would have ordered more if I knew what to order. This was my favorite! It tasted like a taco filling with all the taco seasonings. There was ground beef, onions, eggs, olives and jalapeños in it for the spicy kick. It wasn't too spicy either. SPICY CARNITAS Very porky flavors. Porky-licious! Definitely has that spicy kick from the jalapeños. The meat was slightly dry. It was okay, but I wouldn't order this again. CORN & CHEESE Could not see much other vegetables in it other than corn. Don't know what cheese was used, but it did taste a bit like Velveeta cheese. There was not stuffed and there was not a lot of cheese and not a lot of corn. It was very bland. I could still taste the empanada dough. It almost tasted undercooked. The empanada dough itself is bland. This was terrible and not good at all! APPLE I ordered it for fried, but it came out baked. Overall it wasn't bad, it tasted like apple pie. Yet the dough itself is thicker, so it takes away from the filling. The filling could use some more cinnamon and more apple juice filling to bring a more robust apple filling flavor. The flavor overall was good, but slightly lacking. CHIMICHURRI SAUCE Herbacious and tangy. You gotta scoop up the herbs and eat it on top of the empanada. You do need to purchase for 50 cents extra. But I think it's worth getting. CASH OR CREDIT CARD ACCEPTED! SURCHARGE ADDED TO CREDIT CARD USERS. CUSTOMER SERVICE Good customer service. The person taking my order was patient and friendly. The one complaint is that the person taking orders do go back and forth to the kitchen to check up on customer orders. PARKING Large parking lot shared with other businesses. But large enough to find available parking spots anywhere.

Recalled that the bread was good but not great. Be careful of the extra steep driveway. My car at angle still hit the driveway going in and I did not want to risk further damage so I parked in the street. Went in and was greeted. Looked clean. The trays were stacked at the entrance and had traces of crumbs so I don't think they are washed between transactions...Lots of pinsas. Good selection but some of the common panes were not offered such as Ojo De Pancha or the pan that looks like a concha but has more of the sugar on top, and cema. The conchas that are offered are medium sized. Bigger than minis but smaller than the grocery store options. I asked if they had minis and was told they are made to order for catering. Had some breads I hadn't seen before and picked some out that are pictured to try. My favorite of the new tries was the very thin one towards the bottom. It had a piloncillo taste! The elites were also medium sized and the orange filling that is sometimes skimped on by some bakeries. It was good but could have used some more canela/spice just like the concha. Concha was good but was missing a little more flavor. Oreja was on the smaller size but good. The majority of the bread is $1.25 and some is $1.50. A bit much for how much smaller the breads are compared to the other local panaderias. Will be going back to try the tamales next time and get some more of that thing bread.

I got a lomo saltado ($19.25) along with a chicha morada. The wait time was not long and the plate arrived with a bottle of spicy Aji verde. The french fries were separate and not mixed with the slice red onions and beef. The platter was a good size and they gave a good amount of sliced beef and the sauce was not too salty. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

And the gentleman who served us was very kind and welcoming. We ordered the arroz con mariscos and the tallarín verde with the beef. Both were outstanding.. The rice had just the right amount of seafood flavor in it and was cooked with calamari, a jumbo shrimp, some small shrimp, squid, and a mussel. Along with that it had corn and red onions inside and it was absolutely delicious. The tallarín had an amazing flavor and the beef was also seasoned very well and you could see that it was pounded out with a mallet to tenderize it even more. The two sauces that they give you to spice it up - both delicious and we found that the green one paired well with the rice, and the yellow one paired well with the pasta. Come try this place. It's a smaller Mom and Pop type place thatt makes amazing food. And it has great service.

It took about 5 minutes for this to be ready. Coffee was insanely hot but this was to be expected since it was a fresh batch. It was some strong coffee and even kept me up later that night lol. Overall, it was a nice discovery. I liked the atmosphere of the shop. I was able to get some reading done since it wasn't too loud. There was a lot of natural lighting coming through the windows. Check my picture for the information. I ended up getting the 3 taco plate (2 asada and 1 carnitas) and the XL meat quesadilla with asada. The carnitas was really tender and delicious. The asada was good, but it was not my favorite. I have a thing with chewy fatty pieces and I understand it is common in lower quality cuts of flap meat. This asada had quite a few pieces I had to spit out because it was just too chewy. The refried beans were good, also not my favorite though. The quesadilla was good, I liked the grilled cheese cooked prior to folding it into the tortilla with the meat. Nice touch. That grilled cheese makes a huge difference. The next 3 taco plate had pastor, asada, and shrimp (except they actually gave me fish instead). At least my girlfriend enjoyed the fish taco as well. The tacos were loaded with meat and hard to pick up. That's the best! The pastor was tender and juicy. The fish taco was freshly fried and loaded with toppings and sauce. After paying, I asked for salsa and onions/cilantro cups so I could grab it from the salsa bar before leaving, but the lady turned around and grabbed me prepackaged salsa of each kind, bagged onion and cilantro, and limes. Super nice! Salsa were all really good! Especially the green avocado salsa. I'll come back for carnitas when I'm in the mood for tacos/quesadillas. I'll probably avoid the asada though. Just not my favorite.
