So when we first came here, I felt a little guilty--as if I was cheating on Ruth's Chris, especially since there's one in Seattle! But this place completely won me over. Every time I visit, I try a different cut of steak, and not a single one has disappointed me. They're all incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the Caesar salad. They prepare it fresh right at your table, which is fun to watch, but for my taste, it's a bit too fishy because of the amount of anchovies they use. That's just a personal preference, though. The service is always amazing, no matter which location you visit. The atmosphere also varies from restaurant to restaurant, giving each one its own unique character and charm. So yes--this place gets a 1000% recommendation from me! If you're a steak lover, it's absolutely worth a visit. (or a mocktail in my case!)

Everything else was beyond words perfect - however again - just skip the Brussel sprouts or please for the love of the kitchen please fix the sauce - overkilled my palette and I only had one bite. 1/10 Brussel sprouts the butter wine sauce with balsamic reduction and bacon ... ANNNND lemon? Nope. Why ?! Only reason this isn't 5 stars to me. 10/10 everything else!!! Lamb lollipops- everyone loved them! Cooked to perfection! Duck fat fries - crispy salty and incredible the way fries should be! Crab Mac - wanted to lick the bowl the sauce tasted perfectly creamy with a good amount of crab... Peppercorn New York - cannot wait to go back for this alone!!! Tomahawk - really beautifully plated and so delicious!!! Still thinking about how perfectly cooked the meat was. We split between 4 people and were so fat and happy after this... the Brussel sprouts were a topic of discussion and not in a good way. Will definitely be back but will never again order Brussel sprouts!!!

We started out with a fundido with cheese and it was just so filling and appetizing. It came with cheese and chorizo and we were able to get toasted tortillas to place the cheese and chorizo in that went so well together. Plus, we also were given a lot of hot tortillas to use to finish off the rest. With the salsas that it came with, this was a great appetizer to start the night out with. After that, we got our baked potato with every single topping you can think of, including Wagyu carne asada. This dish is big enough to be a meal for one on its own and aside from a twice baked potato, this is probably the best type of baked potato you can get, considering how all the toppings go together. We also got a corn and pepper dish that tasted pretty good, but the star of the night was the porterhouse. For $99, the 38 or so ounce steak was the highlight of the night. It came with a chimmichuri and a salsa side and tortillas, plus the meat was cooked so perfectly. It had the right amount of fat on it and was just a really well cooked piece of quality meat. That porterhouse really ended the night and made it all worthwhile. The service here is super attentive. The ambiance is nice and seems like a great place to celebrate any type of event. Plus the food is spectacular. Will definitely come back and maybe next time try the a5 wagyu to see how that holds up. Definitely a quality place to eat with very reasonable prices.

If you get steak served on a hot plate, I recommend you go on the rarer side as the steak will cook on the stone. I got medium rare and I normally would get medium at a steakhouse. We sat at the bar and the service was wonderful. I can't wait to come back!

Cocktails were excellent--especially the mixed berry Moscow mule, which had a subtle berry flavor with just a hint of vanilla. I ordered the Land & Sea, and it was fantastic. The filet was incredibly tender, and the porcini demi-glace added a rich, savory depth that paired perfectly with the steak. The mashed potatoes were creamy and satisfying. One thing to note: there's a 20% service charge automatically added to the bill (not including tip), which does make the meal pricier. The garlicky oily dipping sauce added even more flavor to the savory empanadas and gave me dragon breath all day but it was so worth it! There is a good amount of seating here. I love the futbol decor and airiness of the place. There is some lot parking out front and street parking is also an option and where I found parking. The only downside to my experience coming here recently is how they forgot to include my ham & cheese empanada in the to go box that was nicely packaged and sealed so I couldn't check to see if it was there until I unpacked my order and found that it was not there. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of calling them to get a refund for it or drive back for it. Also, I don't feel like giving them one less star right now on this review because of it. I'm considering it this time as a natural human error and donation to this nice small business. Hopefully, they will be more careful and efficient my next visit because their product was very tasty and I do want go back there again soon to try more.

Walking in, it was nice to see the space reconfigured to allow more kitchen and pastry case space. Plus the interior is a lot more warmer with wall color and vibrant art work which is enhanced by the natural light. This makes for a more pleasant dining area. I was kind of overwhelmed with the immense selection and variety in the wrap around pastry case. I'm glad that the counter person was patient with me as I seriously gave consideration since clearly I can't say - one of each please, lol. I ended up exercising restraint and selected two ham and cheese empanadas with chimichurri and two chocolate covered chocolate alfajores with dulce de leche as takeout. The Homie ate one empanada with chimichurri later that day. I ate mine the next day with the remaining chimichurri. We can both attest that the quality has remained despite the near five year hiatus. The alfajores also was delicious, no surprise there. Next visit, I'm going to inquire further about the assortment of pastries in the front pastry case. There was no individual signage displayed during my visit. Again, glad to see another indie business survive post-pandemic and during these challenging economic times.

Moons ago, my friend and I drove across one state to hunt for empanadas --- that's how badly we wanted one. Seattle -- you don't have to work that hard. "LOVE" is real close by! WESTERN WA & BEYOND: Go to LAKE CITY for the most SAVORY & SWEET empanadas!! The empanadas are HUGE but most of all, DELICIOUS! Walk in, take in the glorious aromas! Breathe it in. It's pure joy! We eat with our eyes. I was mesmerized by the baked good display. It is a very thoughtful, organized and wonderfully presented food items presentation. So much love goes into making these baked delights! Still, that's not where it ends-- look at my pictures. There are many goodies to choose from. Don't drool too hard. Just get there and order a box of many! This place has an OLD WORLD CHARM. In a small way, I fell in love with the decorations, colors, the smell of warm sugar, the space ... I talked the few customers present. Every person said roughly the same thing, "TRY EVERYTHING. You can't go wrong. It's all amazing. Sweet or savory. No matter." Everything is HAND-MADE. The bakery is small but the space, display, warm and welcoming. I found street parking -- no problem. I was waiting for my dog to get bathed and groomed nearby. Found myself wanting a snack. Just needed a little something to hold me over until a real meal. Had no idea that my beef [there is also chicken, many more flavors] empanada is a MEAL in itself. The man who waits on you knows his products very well even though it takes a few seconds for him to WARM UP to you. Still, he is a wonderful, friendly & hard working man. An amazing shop speaks for itself when you walk in. I'd drive across state lines to eat at SEATANGO! Try it and see how you like it. I suspect, like any place -- going OFF PEAK times will garnish you more attention by the wait staff. Still, don't wait to go. Go to Seatango now ... no regrets! PS -- Please Understand. This is my first time ever giving a WA bakery 5 stars.

It was a busy Thanksgiving weekend. They are located across the Farmers Market. Got two each of the beef and chicken empanadas. They are both tasty and delicious with lots of flavors but they are unreasonably priced at $8 a piece which wasn't stated anywhere on their menu board and only got the shock when I paid for them but the beef is made with lean ground organic beef and the chicken with organic shredded chicken breasts. Maybe that's why? I dunno, organic tends to be more expensive. Each beef or chicken empanada was garnished with onions, garlic, olives, pimientos, raisins, eggs, red & green bell peppers, some yummy spices and sauteed in olive oil and butter... that's a lot of stuff crammed in those empanadas. They also have salmon empanadas and ham and cheese empanadas. I'd probably get my empanadas elsewhere but this was the touristy Pike Place after all. Review #3615
