I would give 5 stars but they don't control the space. A client had a barking dog and dog food was around the area where she sat. Before the scolding starts I also have a dog allergy and no complaints until they asked me to sit next to her for a manicure and when I asked the lady if her dog was hypoallergenic she just sat there staring. My cat eye polish which Ive gotten done 4 times in the last couple of months there came off on two nails it is visibly showing that the color has come off. I asked that she just repolish the whole set. She refused and said she would only do the two nails that she sees and I would have to pay for the repolish. I said the other nails would come off also. She said something referencing the dryer. Which is her job not mine to facilitate. I will never go back. So after a LONG hiatus from the nail salon and spa due to the pandemic I decided to treat myself to a nail date before the birth of my baby. I arrived expecting mediocre service at best but was pleasantly surprised. If you're looking for an overall pampering experience ask for Van! She took care of me. I got the deluxe pedicure and a dip powder manicure. She took her time and listened my requests and questions. She also didn't try to up sell any extra services. Best of all this is one of the few affordable nail salons in the city. The decor is modern and crisp. The bathroom was spotless (being pregnant I probably went at least 3 times during my visit LOL) and all the tools were sanitized and clean. This nail salon is getting a negative review due to the horrible service and unprofessionalism. I usually get my nails done every two weeks or so and I went to pamper and polish nails, I got a refill (gel) and a pedi (gel) which came up to $85. This wouldn't had been a bad price had the service matched. The nail tech that I had was rushing not even allowing my nails to fully dry before putting another coat of gel on them, I could've just left my nails how they were ( I'll add photos to this to show how bad this is). My pedi was a nice experience until I went to out on my shoes and noticed that the gel was Pilling from my toes. I told the guy at the desk (idk if he's the owner or manager) and he asked if I had time for them to fix it when I said no he did not offer any additional. I was there for about an hour and a half I absolutely did not have time to fix something that should've been done right the first time, in addition I spend about $100 every time I go there so I'm very disappointed in the service I have received and will NOT be returning. I often go to this salon. It's in the neighborhood; it's clean, nice setup inside. The technicians are hit or miss. Last weekend, my husband shared that he wanted to go for pedicures. So, I suggested we go to my regular shop! In the shop, technicians go between English and Vietnamese. I never paid much attention to it because they're friendly when they talk to me. My husband shared that he was feeling a little uncomfortable during his pedicure, so he turned on his Google translate... I'm sure the voice pickup didn't get everything exact, but I'm also sure it's not that far off. It's so unfortunate to be made to feel uncomfortable in what you thought was a safe space. The acrylic was laid really chunky at the tips of the nails. It makes my fingers look clubbed and I have skinny flat nail beds so there's really no reason for this type of mistake. I wish I could attach pictures here for anyone reading to see that I'm not exaggerating. Please don't go here. Please save your money. Please do yourself a favor and run. The hostess always looks miserable, never a warm welcome. The nail techs are so rough, literally always leave with cuts. If you ask for a gel "manicure", there's no warm towels are anything. It's a rushed , VERY rushed process. Gel, and then Lotion on my arms for 1.5 seconds and I'm out. And the manicure is awful. The worst part I took my daughter here for her birthday and two technicians were literally screaming yelling at each other on who was going to get us. I went to get my nails polished after another salon didn't do such a great job. I will say yesterday they looked great and had I don't this review yesterday it would've been much better. But looking at my nails today and unfortunately I'm going to have to go have them polished again. I wear acrylics and I've never had this problem before so I'm not sure what's going on. The tech applied quick dry and I sat for 20 minutes and even had her test them to ensure they were dry. New location right near the old location. So much bigger and nicer. It's really pretty and inviting. Very relaxing music. Tons of staff working on any given day so usually the wait is very short for a chair. There are twice as many seats at this location than the previous. Everything is brand spanking new and lovely! Definitely has a classy spa ambiance with it's white and black interior, gorgeous chandeliers, and chic furniture and architecture. Good service for me. Even better recently since the move. I usually get gel nails and gel fingernails fullset or refill with acrylic and also my eyebrows waxed. The gel actually lasts 3-4 weeks so I go about every three weeks. Just wanted to note that this is one of the few places that has ever been able to wax my quirky eyebrows beautifully! And I can actually trust multiple of the staff with them! So relieving to find a nice, clean, professional spot in this neighborhood. Updated my review because the service has been very inconsistent lately. My nails have been shaped poorly on my last three visits. The pedicure I got was amazing ! But I only get 1 pedicure like every 2-4 years lol! Pamper & Polish is one of my two perferred nail spas. This location is convient, located right on Franklin and Robert E. Lee. They get you in and out, but without cutting any corners. There pedicures are pretty perfect, they make sure that you leave with pretty feet; very good and paying attention the detail. This location does, pedicure, manicure, as well as eyebrow waxing. I have also had solar nails done here which stayed perfect on me for an extended period of time. There is ample parking in this commercial area so there are no worries there. read more

This was my first visit and the worst $30 pedicure ever. The nail technician cut and shaped my toes nails to her liking and never asked me once how did I want my toe nails shaped. I have been to this shop in it's old location when visiting from Ga on a couple of occasions for mani/pedi and was satisfied with the end result. Since then I have moved back to NOLA from Ga and decided to visit the new location today. I had a gel polish application and immediately after completion she filed a couple of my nails edges, which I thought was odd. I noticed that a couple of fingers were ragged across the tips and asked the tech to fix it. She actually filed the completed nails which meant now the tips she filed were not sealed as well as the edges (an after thought on my part but should have been adjusted by the 'professional' tech). I paid and left the business. After getting home and taking a closer look the polish isn't all the way to the tips of the nails and two of them peeled across the tip. I then noticed that there was polish on my skin on the couple of fingers where she filed the edges. Gel polish should not touch the skin so she filed the edges in order to 'fix' it. I have had this type of polish several times before and it lasted for weeks, giving my nails time to grow out. I won't be going back it does nit look like a professional application more like when I've done it myself at home. I will be getting recommendations from friends for a more reliable shop where I don't have to tell the nail tech what you don't do to a gel polish finish. read more
