The last time I brought my dog in for a grooming I had an unfortunate experience. When I brought him home, I noticed that his eye was irritated and watering, so I immediately returned to Pampered Pet grooming. Danise told me it was probably the result of getting soap in his eye and she put a drop ointment on it. The next morning the watering and irritation was worse, so took him into my veterinarian. She looked at his eye and added a drop of something that she said would stain the injury. She indicated that the injury was a superficial corneal abrasion. In a later discussion with Denise, she said that she would reimburse me for the veterinarian bill. Denise can be counted on to be responsive and fair in resolving any concern you may have. read more

Drop my babies off at Pampered Pet Grooming today. As soon as I walked in, the receptionist was super nice. Everyone that worked there that I came in contact with was super sweet, very helpful and you can tell they care about your pets. The inside was clean and neat and they were well organized. My babies were in and out in no time and when I picked them up, they looked superduper cute. I can tell they had a great experience there because they were really happy and in a great mood when I picked them up. The price for both of them to get groomed, was great. These folks groomed my Foster, a Husky that had been wandering in the Country after being dumped and tied to a pole. They did a beautiful job and Stormy was fine despite waiting all day for her bath and groom. Sometimes they have to be kenneled. That's just how it is. Dogs should be kennel trained. Denise is like a magician! I brought my doggy daughter to get her nails trimmed again. And her nails were quite long. She brought her back out, which felt like a blink of an eye. Denise told me that my baby, Penny makes it easy that's why it didn't take long. Nevertheless Denise is knows what she's doing and has such a kind and loving disposition. And I'm so grateful to her. I'm not able to take Penny to get her nails trimmed regularly and I get knots in my stomach when they get so long, I feel so horrible like I'm a bad pet parent. And this is the 2nd time I've left Pampered Pet Grooming feeling that an Angel just blessed me. Took my maltese in for "the wirks" yesterday and they did a superb job on my little cotton ball. You could not see his eyes when he went in. He does not let me cut his hair around his eyes whatsoever. They use to service my german shepherd and they did a wonderful job on him a few years ago too. Both dogs never seemed stressed once I picked them up so that tells me they are gentle with the dogs while in their care. My little maltese got a bath, nail trim, ears cleaned out, ear hair pulled, teeth brushed, and hair cut. The groomers asked me exactly how I want his hair cut so i showed them a few pictures and they did exactly what I asked. You can see in his picture he was not shaved off his hair is cut short and he has the Teddy bear face cut I recommend this groomer to anyone who worries about the care and service of their four legged friends. We took Ellie to her very first groom at the salon and she left there looking so adorable. We didn't find any cuts on her and her personality was still playful. This is my personal concern and no judgement towards the quality of work bc Ellie did look amazing. Ellie was there from 1100-4pm and that's a bit too long for my own comfort to have Ellie be in someone else's care. I was consumed with anxiety of not knowing how Ellie was doing. I'm use to 3-4hr stay at Pet smart with my other dogs so having Elllie away for 5 hours was bit too overwhelming for me. If you don't mind how long you need to leave your furbabies then this is a nice place to go. Staff were nice and friendly. Their salon looks cozy and clean. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. Ourdog had an appointment for 11am. We dropped him off and waited to be called to pick him up. We never received an update and after THREE HOURS of waiting my husband decided to call and check on him. The receptionist informed us they were behind and hadn't gotten to our dog yet. When asked what they did with our dog this whole time, we were informed he was put in a kennel and left there to wait for three hours. Obviously we were upset and upon picking him up at 2pm and asking why we weren't updated so we could've just had him at home with us while we waited, everyone just blamed each other. Our dog never received his grooming and we absolutely will not be back to this establishment. Completely unprofessional and terrible customer service. read more

This was my first time taking my Bichon Frise to them. They did not ask for any records for his vaccinations I showed them myself just in case. I specifically asked them to shave his ears. Keep the face rounded (teddy bear) look. I picked him up and didn't even recognize my dog. His ears were still fluffy with hair, his face was completely shaved down . Kept my dogs from 10 AM-5:30 PM. My poor dogs seemed like they held their pee for hours because they kept pulling me to the grass and stood there peeing for quite a while. My dog also has a cut between his eyes and nose. It looks like it swelled so I didn't notice it till few days later. Never again with this groomer. UPDATE: I left this same review and photos on their Facebook and they deleted my review and all other negative reviews. Also, I never said I couldn't drop my dog off later than 10. They asked me to drop them off between 9-10 and when dropping them off I asked if they would be given water and taken out to the restroom and they said yes. read more

I have taken my dog here several times in past and they did ok job, I stopped taking him there and just recently tried them again. My little guy is very scared when it comes to groomers, twice that I have taken him this year, I was met by the rude gal there telling me how obnoxious my dog was and difficult to groom and how he needed a sedative before she could groom him again.. and then I was charged a extra 10.00 handling fee!!! I asked for a teddy bear hair cut and his hair does not look like that he instead got a Shih Tzu hair cut. We talked about a set length before cutting and they cut it a lot shorter. They also left long patches on his belly so the hair was not consistently cut. read more

I have an unpredictable schedule and I never know when I'll be in town. So even with last minute calls they always let me take in my mom's dog when I'm in town. Also I truly appreciate how much they care about my dogs safety and needs. This is the number one reason why I keep coming back all these years. Because I trust my dog is in good hands. The one thing that I do not like is that the quality is not consistent. Some times my dog comes out with her fur looking shiny and smooth. Smelling nice and pretty little bows on her ears.... Other times my dog comes out with what appears to be dirt still in her fur ( dry and dull with particles in it) and not smelling to nice and sadly no pretty bows. I understand that my mom's dog is much older now from when we first started taking her here and that her fur and skin are not what they use to be. However there is one groomer specifically a bigger chubby girl who is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. Wow she is mean. No customer service skills what so ever. My moms groomer was closed so I reluctantly referred her to this place and what a mistake she was so mean and so rude to my mother when she went to drop the dog off. I started out really enjoying this nice doggy boutique. Small and quaint. Personable. I've taken my 3 dogs there every 4-6 weeks. On 2 out of the 4-5 times that my dogs were groomed there, my dogs were not cut as directed. One time of the other previous visits we had to take them all back to be redone due to mistake. One of the ladies there always had an excuse or complaint about how she was feeling due to her pregnancy. This last time I was so upset that my Shih Tzu was cut bald. Who does that.
