My 4 month old Shih Tzu was matted and needed grooming. We took him to Pampered Pooch and the ladies did a wonderful job although he was not easy to work with. I think he knows he looks cuter than before we took him. We will definitely be back. Thanks ladies.

Second time Wendy did a fantastic job on my Golden Doodle Gus, he's about a year and a month old here, taken today.

Wendy did an amazing job with my Golden Doodle Gus, he is quite the handful, he had really bad matted fur and his nails were so long, I cannot say how great of a job she did. I mean just look at his picture! He looks so handsome!

    Kole fresh from the groomers!

Great place to take ur pet for grooming! Patty is the best! Kole was attacked by a pit bull last year and we almost lost him. We took him to the hospital immediately and he had surgery. For the next week it was 24/7 care. I turned my living room into a hospital. It was Intensive Care for Kole. My husband, daughter (Kole's Mom) and I had the night shift, walked, watched and cared for Kole. This is the results. A couple of marks under all that black hair, but he's 100% back to normal! Thank God! And Patty was the only one we trusted to groom Kole during his recuperation period! She is fantastic!

I told them I wanted a puppy cut with Schnauzer face and fluffy tail. The last time he was groomed was just before I moved to the Beverly area about 10 weeks ago. I told them I brushed Bullet every night, he had some matting and those crusties around his eyes. While waiting to pick him up, I could hear Bullet whining terribly. I questioned it, and was told he was just a bit anxious because it was his first grooming there. A groomer brought a little black dog out, and I thought, "Aw, cute dog but really skinny." I didn't know it was my Bullet, until he jumped up on my lap. I was horrified, day the least. When I asked what happened, I was to,d he was matted all over, he didn't like being cut, and they had to shave him!!! The groomer said his face fur came off in one piece as she shaved him. What the hell. I'm attaching "before and after" pictures of Bullet so you can understand why I've given such a poor rating and why I will NEVER bring Bullet anywhere near that place again. Not only does he look like a hairless cat, my sweet, cuddly baby who loves people and other dogs, is now skittish and scratches himself almost non-stop.

We would always book an extra large suite with patio access allowing the dogs to go in and out of a doggie door all day long and they had plenty of room within the suite and would have some yard/playtime, depending on their temperament. Every suite door has a paper with all the details about your animal and any special dietary restrictions or temperament issues so anybody dealing with your dog knows what's up before they even approach them. Our dogs were always happy when we picked them up.

And a place that can handle all his medications. After several failures, I was referred to this location through Shelton's adoption center, One Tail At A Time. He has never been so calm and chill, leaving boarding, too bad I missed a video opp! Typically he is all ball of anxiety, this is also the first time he's gone straight to sleep after arriving home!! Checking in, the staff said, "if you don't hear from us, that is a good thing." I was a bit skeptical, but that was a true statement! They called when something was right with his poop when there was extra medication in his bag and to inquire about his toys. I appreciated the ongoing communication, and judging by the report card, he loved the team. I was side-eying the $88 a day (with a private patio), but it is worth the price (esp if your pet is non-animal friendly). The basic suites are spacious for a short stay.

When I got there today i was met at the front desk by the owner's granddaughter. The owner's granddaughter asked me for my name. I gave it to her. She came back and stated there was nothing on the calendar. For me, then she asked what my pet's names was. I told her she checked again and still I was not on the calendar. She informed me that there was nothing on the books for me and she couldn't see my dogs due to them. Being overbooked, I explained to her that she was the one that wrote down on the card for me to come back today. She totally overlooked that. And she said, well, unfortunately, we're over staff today with over 20 dogs. My grandmother has a shoulder injury and we had a call off and I felt as though instead of giving me all those excuses all she had to do was say, I apologize for the misunderstanding. But I'll be happy to take your dogs and instead it was almost like I was begging her to take them. And she kind of had an attitude of like she was doing me a favor instead of correcting an error that happened on her. And the groomers part, not mine, I felt this was extremely unprofessional, and it was very rude and not very respectful of my time as I do not live close to the place I live almost 30 minutes away, but she totally overlooked that like it didn't matter. And just went too well. If we take them, it's gonna be half the day. I don't know when you would get them back very rude. I was not happy at all with me. Being the customer, it should have just been a little bit more courteous. Even though they have a fair price that they charge for grooming, they are extremely unprofessional. Not to mention the place smells like urine. I also feel as though this place is racist because I was African American. I don't think she treated me as nice as she could have her or the owner very rude and unprofessional. I will never bring my dogs back here again. Please be careful if you are an African American as they will treat differently not to mention you never see the owner so you don't exactly know who is grooming your dogs.

There was a time I championed this place and Dr. Plowe who recently retired. Since her departure the place was never the same again. Very money conscious. Very high prices. It's all about making as much as they could. I brought my dog in and when I asked about my cat at home, they said they don't give away free advice. I asked a simple question stating that I am paying for this time. They said sarcastically bring the cat in. then treated me like I was cheap. I had a dog with diabetes and spent thousands there for over seven years. Now they wouldn't answer a simple question. This new crew is arrogant and condescending. They don't care about your pet and even less about you. All they want is your money. That lab tech has no business dealing with people. I could go on and on about how terrible she was. The entire time I kept my cool and my mouth shut. When I went home and shared my experienced, I was told by all to never go back there again. I still wanted to go back but I called and asked to have that tech's name put down on my chart, so I never get her again. They asked why and I said I didn't want to make it a big thing and left it at that. Nope, that tech found out and started calling my home. I wasn't home so she burdened my 86-year-old mother with her nonsense. It upset her. After she saw I didn't want her again, she should have NEVER called my home. Just looking for trouble. Then to cover her ass she made up a compliant about me. She said I had a "mood change" but not when the doctor was in the room only to her. LOL. The doctor obviously wouldn't back up her lie. Then the manager started calling my home. She was worse than the terrible lab tech. She wouldn't listen to reason all she did was defend her "friend" as she referred to her and her lies. Also, they never asked once how my dog was doing. 4 phone calls, one email and one letter through the mail. All they wanted to do was cover their ass. They are unprofessional. They over charge and in my opinion are rip-off artists. Above all they are liars. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else folks.
