I was sooooo nervous for my sweet little Yorkie Lily to have her first haircut! She's tiny at only 2 lbs so she's just fragile and vulnerable! Darling was so sweet and put us at ease. Her experience was so comforting and she listened to all of our concerns and requests. She handled our sweet pup with as much love and care as our family does! She did a beautiful job with the cut, and our baby smelled so lovely too! I was so happy that she sent us photos during the service to make sure we knew it was going well! Lily was so comfortable with Darling that she was just sitting happily in her arms and wagging her tail when she brought us back to us. She was not stressed by any means! Darling gave us tips about tooth brushing and you could tell how much she cared and fell in love with our little girl. We will definitely have Pampered Tails, and Darling come back for the next grooming! It was so worth having her come to our home and give all of her attention and loving care to our pup! I was so anxious to send my rescue dog to the groomer for the first time, and Pampered Tails made the experience so gentle and positive for my dog and myself! My four-year-old mini poodle had rarely been bathed or brushed before she was rescued, so she has not let me bathe or blow dry her. I was worried that the grooming experience would be too stressful for her and she wouldn't let them do their job. Darling and Nelson answered all my questions before booking and then made sure that they were both available to take care of my dog in case she needed extra help. When they arrived for the appointment, they got to know us both and then kept me updated on how she was doing with pictures throughout the process. They said my dog did really well, and I could tell after her appointment that she was not anxious at all. This terrific team of former Vets from Australia recently moved to Camarillo, groomed my dog this morning. My dog is old and arthritic so I was so happy to have a mobile groomer. They were right on time, had a beautiful, state of the art grooming van. They did a beautiful job on my Aussie who has a double coat. They were a bit more expensive but so worth it for me not having to struggle getting her in the car, having her be hours in a cage at the regular place. My dog did so much better with her own anxiety with it being in our driveway. I can not say enough positive things about this husband and wife team. I gave my dog to the guy in the van and I told him about Casanova had some thing to look out for. He could have cared less and I went in the house. And in a few minuets I heard him crying and ran out to the van and opened the door, this jerk said i could not open his door and saw Casanova on the table all wet and so upset. I said can I stay with him so he can see me no not allied. I took Casanova and told him to get the Hell out of here. I did not pay him because Casanova hair was all chopped up. BEST MOBILE GROOMING! We have a small Bichon Frise who is very sweet but becomes very anxious during his grooming appointments. Darling has worked with our little guy for a couple of months now and we are so thankful for her. She is so patient and caring with our Ollie. Effie was absolutely amazing with our nervous shepherd. She was so gentle and loving with him and quickly earned his trust. He has never been able to have anyone trim his nails and she was able to make him feel safe and comfortable enough to get them done. She really took the time to do a thorough job. He was well overdue for a good deshed but when she was done with him he looked amazing. She really got the loose undercoat out. Our groomer, Darling, is fantastic! She is so friendly and always takes extra care with our fur baby, ensuring that she has the best experience possible (she gets very nervous). What an awesome business. They are so patient with our doggies, which has made a world of difference with one of our rescue dogs. We've had Ricky a year, and up until now, we've had to take him to the vet to be shaved under sedation. I cannot be more happy with our first experience with Pampered Tails. Nelson and Darling arrived on time and were kind and professional. I have a 3 year old Australian Labradoodle, and they were great with her. They listened to everything I wanted them to do, and even asked for a picture of what I wanted done.
