I think the price was a bit high for the service provided. It came out to $45 for two nail trims, and there was an additional $5 upcharge that wasn't explained directly. They muzzled my cat even though she wasn't biting or acting aggressively, which I assume may have been part of that extra charge. The trimming itself felt rushed, they were taking off larger chunks instead of going slowly and carefully. There's a grooming shop in Montalvo that charges around $15 per animal and takes the extra step to grind the nails after trimming, which I really appreciate. I'll probably stick with them moving forward. That said, the staff were nice! I just wish the service matched the price a bit better. read more

I am just leaving this spot & have found the perfect place to take my pets! I have two dogs, a puppy at 4 months & a 2 year old dog who is not the nicest. My puppy was squirming a lot & the way they took care of her was amazing! My other dog is a pound puppy who was returned twice & has some "separation" anxiety. I advised that they might want to muzzle him because of his past biting history. They said no & didn't muzzle him. To my surprise he didn't growl or snip at her once! I had left a really good review here a year ago.... But I've now come to realize it depends who grooms your dog and how good they are. My last experience here was sad and disappointing. My fur baby was shaved balled they didn't even try to make him look cute. The owner complained that my Maltese tried to bite her. Julie at Get Your Groom On is Vintura's worst groomer at Vintura's. Worst pet salon. They are highly dedicated to providing poor service at premium prices, and then blaming the animals in the owners for their mistakes. Don't take my word for it, Please read the many other bad reviews here. Voicemails and text messages were not returned in a timely manner; scheduling was unprofessional and disorganized. Puppies require a little bit of extra care to acclimate them to the clippers and scissor work. Julie clipped our six month old puppy into a terrible haircut, he looked like a rat. It's going to take months until he looks right. Julie said that she was "not happy with the outcome" and she blamed the little puppy... an innocent tiny puppy, I'm not sure how anyone can blame a six month old pup for a bad haircut, but Julie sure tried. Of course, Julie charged full price ($90) and expected a tip. "Not happy with the outcome" in her words - needless to say I agree with her on one thing. We are sure not happy with the outcome... but we are poorer out of pocket. The standards of service here is sinking so low. It's not hard to believe when I see groomers go out of business left and right. If you read the response from the owner to all the negative negative reviews, it's a complete denial of accountability. She blames the animals, she blames the owners, and she blames her customers. Can't wait to see her response to this review... Blame the animal, Blame the owner or blame the client. Businesses taking clients for granted like this will soon cease to exist, as people hold onto their hard-earned money. Fantastic grooming with extremely friendly staff! My pets get a decent amount of anxiety with the trip to the groomers, and the staff at Get your Groom on always handles them so well and they do not shame me for their anxious (...loud) behavior. We came here with high hopes but left very disappointed. The owner was very rude and not as adamant to address any questions or concerns. We even came early at her convenience so we'd have extra time to ask our questions (because that's what you do at a consultation) and we really only asked 3 questions regarding our dogs fur. He's a chow chow & a social butterfly but has really special fur that shouldn't be shaved. Groomers can vary, but when you find a good one! Your fur babies deserve the best. Pam the owner and Meagan take the great care of my 3 pups. They bathe the large dog, groom, style & shave the medium dog, most of all, very gentle with my 14 year old small dog. If the shop seems messy, I should hope so! You can see how the groomers work with the dogs and how the pups are treated. Nothing is hidden from customers, that's important to me. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS!! We made an appointment so the owner could assess our chow chow because his fur behind his ears was matted. She said she would shave it off. quick fact... You're not supposed to shave that type of breed cause the undercoat regulates their body temperature! Even young groomers from PetSmart know this fact. The owner then remarked, "It's all or nothing!" She was very impolite and we can feel her irritated vibes. Definatley dont need that negatively handling my pet. She's not someone I'd trust with your dog. They don't seem to know anything about doggie coats. Also, we arrived 20 minutes early for our appointment so that we could speak with her about our dog. We were considerate of her time as a result. We didn't feel confident around her because of her strange behavior towards us and her lack of customer service. I would give her a ZERO if could. I don't recommend anyone to come here. I have no worries leaving them in their care. Cassie is a great groomer and so knowledgeable about all breeds and their behaviors. But I noticed my dog has some sores on her neck and back. Didn't think anything of it. I did take my dog to the vet for it. Took my dog back for the second time but this time my dog didn't look to thrilled when I picked her up. Again she developed those sores on her neck and back but worse this time. We have been using Get your Groom on for many years for our dogs. Always excellent work from Pam and Megan. Getting them groomed there on a regular basis prevents all the shedding in the house and our dogs never have any doggie odor. Once our dogs learned where they were going, they actually get excited about going. (I guess my dogs didn't like being cleaned with the yard hose after all.)
