The outside of Cym definitely needs a spruce up but when you walk in it is surprisingly nice. The space is divided up into several rooms where several people had their laptops out working or studying. I had a hot latte that was warm at best and a raspberry croissant. The croissant had a nice raspberry flavor but the latte definitely could have been much hotter. The coffee though was good and no sweetener was needed. They have a nice outside porch area with a fan for sitting when the inside gets too full or if you just want to enjoy the outdoors.

I wasn't sure what to get and the worker recommended any of their pastries, as opposed to their bagels, as they were delivered fresh today. I ended up ordering the cinnamon roll, she heated it up and that took about 5 minutes. The cinnamon roll itself wasn't anything super special. The dough reminded me more of that of a croissant due to its flakier consistency. The glaze on top was light and the cinnamon inside was underwhelming. I still didn't have a problem with it until I reached the center. I noticed the center wasn't fully heated up and even felt slightly cold. But my biggest issue was the fact that the dough in the center was very much raw. It was not cooked/baked through at all. Disappointing to say the least. I would not return for a pastry or baked good, as I believe you can find better ones around the area for a better price. But I would return to try the coffee. Overall, I think Concord Coffee is a super cute coffee shop located in midtown. The staff is really sweet and helpful as well. I thought the inside was clean and I appreciated the decor. With that that being said, I would stick to beverages as opposed to their food items. My cinnamon roll was anything but special, I feel like one from Publix would have left me more satisfied. By biggest issue was definitely the fact that it wasn't baked through and raw in the center. I will get around to trying their coffee at some point in the future.

I had an older lady in front of me get 2 pieces of the quiche and asked for them to be light in color because she wanted to heat them up at home. The blonde girl rolled her eyes at her. I thought wow that was rude but maybe the younger girl was having a bad day but still no reason to take it out on this older lady. I also thought I'm going to see my friend and mushroom onion quiche sounds delicious. I decided to get 2 slices of it. I asked her to please warm it up. After it was done warming up I watched her try to pull it out of the over and saw her ripping it apart and then shrugging her arms like whatever. Then she handed it to me like she had not just done that. I went out to the car looked at it and brought it right back in and told her you know the crust is all ripped off these and she told me yea that's what happens when you heat up quiche. No, that definitely is what happens when you are obviously aggravated about something else and take your aggression out on my quiche and then just shrugged your shoulders and hand it to me anyways. I even had tipped this chick because I always tip and that really makes me mad. Another very kind girl came out from the back with brown hair and refunded me my money and apologized. I don't want to come back in here now sadly because of the blond girls attitude. Sad I lost a place I liked coming to because I don't want to deal with an employees that is rude to the customers for no reason.
