Tony was the technician. I went on 12/24/24 am got a gel pedicure and manicure $75. That early evening polish chipped off. I went back on 12/26/24 for a redo and chose a different color. That evening polish start lifting up. I put nail glue on. I am up at 3 am leaving for cruise the next day 12/27/24; nails are bugling and peeling. So now, I grab my green nail polish. Never again. I have been going here for years now! The owner is the nicest! Always speaks to people coming in. The nail techs are so nice!! They have helped me keep my nails long due to biting all of my life! I go about every 3 weeks and have a mani with gel polish and it stays until I return. Once and a while a nail might break or split, but that isn't their fault. I went to beauty school and understand that this can happen. Especially with a previous nail biter! I have also had pedicures randomly here from some other nail techs and they are awesome! Can't speak highly enough about this place! Give it a try if you are looking somewhere to go. read more

I have been here countless times and asked my father for a gift certificate from here when asked what I wanted for Christmas. He warmed me about the horrible yelp reviews and I couldn't believe them! Goes to show people will only review negative experiences. I love getting the $45 upgraded pedicure while sipping their complimentary wine. My daughter and I went to get a manicure tonight - while I was trying to choose a color, I felt very rushed. My daughter came in with dip on her nails and I had gel that needed to be removed. The technician took an acrylic nail and used it to rip the dip off my daughters fingers. I have never had dip on my nails and this was the first time my daughter had dip so we were unsure if this was the normal process of getting dip removed. It was a terrible, painful experience for her. And while the technician was using the acrylic nail to rip off the dip she misplaced it and went under my daughters real nails and made her bleed. The technician who removed my gel polish - used some silicone covers and sponges that looked like they just reuse on all customers. We ended up just getting our dip and gel removed because of the horrible customer service and experience. We would not recommend. read more

Pulled up here today after driving over 30mins because they have the kiddie nail spa chairs and was met at the door by a woman in black scrubs telling us that they were closed. The time is 7pm the sign on the door says Monday-Saturday they close @8pm. She said "It's slow so we close" so we had no option but to exit with 3 very disappointed little girls. They were servicing other guest but turned away 2 adult women and 3 children for full services of nails and feet for us all. If you had such a slow day I don't understand why you would turn away 5 paying customers during business hours. read more

I have had such a struggle, finding a good quality nail salon here in Goldsboro. The struggle is over! This nail salon gave me one of the best experiences I've ever had. My nail tech was very kind and really did a fantastic job on my nails. I needed a fill-in and wanted to reshape my nails due to the poor job that was done by another nail salon before- look at the magic that she did! She also did more than just paint and fill in my nail. She cleaned up the skin around my nail, which a lot of people do not do any more for manicures they just paint the nail. I highly recommend going to them. It is definitely worth your time and it's cheaper than other places. read more

Went in for Bridal party,the day before wedding. bride and I got gel nails on hands and regular pedicure. Brides toes were already chipping by wedding day. GEL has already peeled off less than 1 WEEK after services. Bride called in advance to schedule appointment and reserve spots. Called the day of to confirm party was arriving and they were still unequipped to serve entire bridal party. Waiting room was standing room only. I asked for an eyebrow wax and the lady proceeded to wax my lip!! I was still charged for this service. 8 people spent almost $1000 on manis and pedis. I absolutely love going here with my mom. We usually go for pedicures and occasionally get manicures. They're always so nice and accommodating. The quality of my manicures and pedicures has always been outstanding and I can usually make regular polish last a whole week before I see any sign of chipping. The establishment is also really clean every time I've been. Other people must like going here as well considering how long you would have to wait without an appointment on Fridays and the weekend. I always recommend going here and have taken several family members visiting from out of town. Love this place! read more

I would like to begin my review by saying that this is great facility and most of the staff are friendly and do an excellent job. I have always received great service and every service that I have had done has been AMAZING. That being said, it saddens me to write this review. My last visit to this salon was in January, and it was not a pleasant visit. The receptionist at the front desk totally ignored me, was not pleasant after I addressed my concern, and some of the other staff acted as if I was not supposed to be there. Went in for a classic pedicure and the man was on his phone the ENTIRE time. So a one handed pedicure is what I received. It was also the most rushed I have ever felt, even though it wasn't even near their closing time. Horrible experience! Had an 11 am appointment with my daughter in law and we went in, the man at the front counter never acknowledged we were there , while drinking from a cup he pointed to a clip board to sign in, we tried to tell him we had an appointment but finally sat down.. we waited patiently until at 1130 a lady came in and said I have an 1130 appointment and was walked immediately back to have nails done!! What! We then insisted to speak with someone told them we had an appointment had been booked for over a week and they said we can squeeze one of you in now and will have to wait for the other! I understood that but when there are four of us there was only lady who basically did a speed service, somewhat rude and did not even do what was asked. Disappointed! We had to wait 2 hours for a pedicure. The nail tech was sloppy with the polish. He didn't clean the polish from around the edges of the nail, I had to do it myself and he didn't cover the full nail with polish. I normally go to New York Nails (Lena ONLY) but Lena just had a baby, so she's out on maternity leave, so I was STUCK with trying a new nail salon. To be so fancy, the nail technicians suck big time. Annie works here and she used to be my nail tech when she worked in the nail salon at Berkeley Mall, so since my nail tech is still on maternity leave I will try Annie once again to see if she still "has it," but James cannot do my nails ever again. James bragged about being a nail tech for 16 years, but with the crappy job he did on my nails he should've kept that piece of information to himself. I visited Panache a few weeks ago for a pedicure and shellac manicure. If you're looking for a long relaxing pedicure, this salon wouldn't be my recommendation. As other reviewers mentioned, my pedicure seemed a bit rushed. They definitely seem concerned with turn around time. This could be a plus for some, not everyone always has time for long leisurely nail days. But if you're looking to spend a little more time soaking your toes, I'd probably go elsewhere. That being said, I've had pretty awesome results with my shellac manicure. My nail tech did have to talk me into it ( I didn't really want to spend the extra money) but I'm glad I ending up getting it. It has been three weeks to the day since my manicure and my polish is still pretty perfectly intact (although they have clearly grown out a ton). I'm sure the results probably very by nail tech, so I'll have to see how it holds up the next time I go in. read more

I have never been more disappointed in a manicure. I have had standard manicures that lasted longer then the gel manicure I got a week ago at Panache. I washed dishes and the polish literally peeled off three of my nails. The polish is also chipped on the tip of one nail. The entire pout of a gel manicure is to get long lasting results. I will not be back to panache, regardless of how close it is. I would not recommend this establishment to my worst enemy. read more

I got a gift certificate for here and wasn't going to let it go to waste, but... it will not be used by me! I have gave this place chance after chance, but I am not anymore. They do not have good customer service. I waited over an hour and everyone keep going back and I wasn't even talked to! Then I was over it whenever someone walked in 45mins after I was waiting and got sent back right away with no appointment, and the workers just said it was because she wasn't getting gel polish! My daughter and I have been going here about once very few months for over a year. I always get pedicures and my daughter gets gel nails. The pedicures definitely vary depending on the nail technician you get to do it. I have had excellent pedicures with super long foot/leg massages and I've had rush jobs done. The last time I had a rush job done which turned me off from returning, but my daughter likes consistency so she always wants to return here even though she has had some very messy nail jobs done. Two times she's had to have her nails redone and the last time she didn't have them redone but they were so bad she removed them a few days later. The nails were super thick and very square and her natural nails are beautiful and definitely not square or thick. I can say that the customer service has always been very good. The 2 women I'm assuming are the owners or managers have no problem redoing your nails if you're not happy with the outcome. Though the customer service is very good (5 stars) the quality we've both received the last few times we've been is just too poor for us to return again. Pedicures and manicures are a luxury service that is not cheap, and I don't have the money to blow on manis/pedis that aren't done with quality to match the price. read more

I have come to Panache about 10-12 times for pedicures and the occasional manicure. I liked this facility because I could normally get pretty consistently quality services here. The chairs massage, the technicians were pleasant and my pedicures were satisfactory. A few small cons - the chairs have no cup holders or trays, the regular polish selection isn't very diverse (although I believe they offer a lot more variety if you are doing Shellac), and they do not offer any beverages, not even water. I normally have pretty satisfactory service here, but there have been a few hiccups. Once, during my only Shellac manicure here, the tech had me putting my hands under the UV lamp way more than necessary (6-7 times per hand, fingers done separately), and the end result was really messy. She agreed to redo them when I pushed her to, but she ended up being rough on my hands and the end result was really sore fingers and a second bad coating. I never returned for Shellac services. The second bad experience was when I went in and requested a jelly pedicure. Normally the pumps are going when they put in the jelly mixture. This time the nail tech didn't have them on and told me to swish my feet around to get the jelly to mix in. I was confused. I'd never had to do that before, and besides, who wants to pump their feet to make something work when they are going in for a relaxing treatment? I tried to ask her why the pumps weren't on, but due to the language barrier, and her bad attitude, communication was not smooth and after asking twice, she snapped, "Look, what do you want?!" Well after that I certainly didn't want her doing my pedicure! I said I would just go and come back another time. As I got up she snapped for me to sit back down while she got the manager. Really relaxing. I left, and on my way out the manager asked what had happened. I just told her that the pedicure wasn't going the way they normally do. It was so uncomfortable to have an angry nail tech who yelled at me (???), and then having a fumbled non-fix. I don't feel comfortable returning. This is just a very popular salon because they have good prices and friendly staff. It can be busy, but that just means they are doing something right. Went for a regular manicure and the tech sold me on a shellac since it was guaranteed to last 2 weeks, for more than double price. 8 days in all my nails have giant chips from the top (starting at the cuticle). family members who've had shellac assure me that's normal. This was my first visit here and it was recommended by a coworker. The salon is well decorated and smells fantastic. I love the spa smell :) I didn't need to wait very long to sit in the chair for my pedicure. They have 11 pedicure chairs and at least that many stations for your hands! They offer 5 different levels for pedicures and I chose the green tea pedicure that included a leg massage with hot stones. The tech was friendly but a little rough on my feet. She also seemed to be in a bit of a rush so I never really relaxed during the service. As soon as my toes were painted, she slipped my sandals on my feet and showed me to the front desk. Wham, bam, thank you m'am! Their goal is to get you in and out of there quick. No little extras like bottled water. I will say my toes look great and my feet are in better condition than when I walked in. I'll probably try somewhere else next time. read more

My nails had to be painted twice and it was blamed the dryer...my cuticles looked chewed up and horrible,and there was polish left on my skin. I got off work early and drove an hour to walk in the door between 3:15 and 3:30. Got up and walked out at 4:40. Waited over 1/2 hour to get seated for a pedicure. Then sat in hot water so long that it was lukewarm when I finally had enough when they waited on someone else that got there after me. No pedicure today. I've been going to Panache for a couple of years. I love this place! Everyone has always been friendly, professional, and willing to work with me as to appointment times. Love the shellac manicures! I am very rough on my hands and nails and I have never had a chip in my polish-even after disentangling the water hose from the lawn mower blades! The Panache pedicure is my favorite. I have never felt rushed or had any of the issues the others have mentioned. Maybe I have just been lucky, or perhaps all my years in customer service make me a better customer. read more
