    Concha front and center

Concha see this is meant to be? Concha see what you mean to me? Don't be self conchas show your love, pan de dulce (sweet bread) is Mexico's gift to the world and I am more than happy to accept them. This Panaderia has a few outposts in Orange county and each one is better than the last. After a magnificent cheat day, I had to close hard with something sweet. Stakes were high, it was 3pm and most dessert places were closed, saw this was open and it did not disappoint. There are a ton of options of display with a handy guide in English and Spanish. If you can't decide, let your concha be your guide... just get conchas.

I loved the fresh wide variety of pastry options, the pastries were very good and freshly made. The shop was very clean and organized and I received fast service. I will be returning before going back to Miami.

Great products with great prices. They are less expensive than other bakeries I have been to.

If you are in Orlando and you need a concha fix, this is the place for you. Their conchas are light, airy and tasty. Coffee and other baked delights are available also.

The candied pecans gave it a contrasting sugared crunch making it really addicting to eat, and the candied oranges rounded out the flavors. I hope they'll keep bringing this cookie back!

I didn't realize that before ordering, so that definitely explains part of why this wasn't for me. Red velvet is usually my birthday cake, so I've tried it from quite a few places over the years. I personally prefer a softer, fluffy cake with a noticeable cocoa flavor and a tangy cream cheese frosting. Gideon's version was very different from that. The color was much more intensely red than I personally like, and I felt like I could taste the coloring. The texture of my slice also felt more wet/dense than moist and fluffy. There was plenty of frosting, but the cream cheese flavor was much more subtle than I prefer. I know this cake has a lot of fans, so I think this really comes down to style and personal preference. If you prefer a more traditional cocoa-forward red velvet with tangy cream cheese frosting, just know that this one is quite different. Inside dining area is tight with small availability so get there early if you want to sit without a wait. Once seated the food and service is top knotch. The Chocolate Duet Cake from The Glass Knife said "I'm rich, I'm dark, I'm decadent... and I know…read moreit." Look: 5/5 -- Absolutely gorgeous. She came dressed for the occasion. Elegant, glossy, and almost too pretty to eat. Almost. Taste & Texture: 4/5 -- This cake is RICH rich. Deep, dark chocolate, decadent layers, and the kind of cake where you take a bite and need a moment of silence afterward. The cake itself? BLISS. Moist, luxurious, chocolatey perfection. My only little "ehhh" was the texture of the glaçage drip. Personally, it wasn't my favorite mouthfeel--but listen, that did NOT stop my fork from continuing its ministry. If you like your chocolate cake dark, decadent, rich, and a little sexy... baby, this is the move. Basically, this isn't "lemme grab a little piece of cake." This is "close the blinds, cancel my plans, and leave me alone with this chocolate decadence." Chocolate Duet Cake: 4/5 Would absolutely commit chocolate sins again.
