Came by to check out this place after nabbing a delicious asada burrito at El Jacal Mexican Restaurant. Saw Panaderia Los Jarochos had good reviews and decided why not! And the universe rewarded me with an absolutely delicious telera roll stuffed with jalapeños and cream cheese. I haven't tried the pineapple bun and the mysterious pastry the owner said was good (she was on the phone) but if the telera roll was any indicator this place is the real deal. And all three only came out to $7! I do wish they had more signage as it was hard to tell what was what but everything looked great and made fresh the day of. Def stop by if you're in the Arcadia area for authentic Mexican pastries. (So the next day tried the pineapple bread and the cake wrapped thing! Def not as fire as the Telera bread but not a bad place if you need bakery goods!) read more

I should've known better than to cheat on La Purisima!! I had been wanting Cortadillo cake and my regular Mexican bakery doesn't have it. I found out this place did and saw they had really good reviews. It's located in a little strip mall and easy to find. The place was small and clean with a decent selection of breads. You get your own tray and tongs and pick your goodies. We got conchas, churro, jelly roll, cortadillo cake and a cookie. The pan was fresh but everything tasted the same! There was literally no flavor in anything. The kids didn't even want to eat it. I still gave 3 stars as it's a small Mexican owned business and their stuff is fresh but we just didn't care for anything. Everything we got was only $8 which is super cheap! Overall, might just be our taste buds are so used to La Purisima as that's our only Mexican bakery I've been going too since I was a kid. This place has a smaller selection of pan dulce than your usual panederia. However, that small selection consists of originals and unique ones that's I hadn't seen or tried. They had this concha with a strawberry fluffy cake inside of it. Wish I could have taken a picture of it but I inhaled it too quick. I also got one of them cream cheese and jalapeño stuffed pans and oooof, probably the best one I've ever tried. That crust is a must! read more

Too hilarious!! A local carniceria in Scottsdale used to sell the BEST conchas. It became a Saturday ritual for the hubby and I! We would always know to skip the display and head straight for the panadero since he would give us fresh, warm conchas still cooling on the rack. To say the least, we were disappointed when we found out he was no longer employed there. We've gone to a bunch of other panaderias (La Purisima included) in Phoenix and Mesa but never could find his equal. LO AND BEHOLD! This is his business!! This place doesn't look like much when you roll up, but once you're inside you are transported to an authentic panaderia where everything is made with LOVE. Everything was clean, COVID safe & conservatively priced, especially for the quality! The pastries are absolutely beautiful & crafted with intent & quality. I haven't been this impressed with a panaderia in a LONG time & our visit on Monday won't be our last. They even gave us two FREE cream cheese filled pastries that were gone before we even left the parking lot haha! Highly recommend this spot to ANYONE who loves classic Mexican pastries. There should be a line out the door for this place. Someone on Tik Tok should make them famous, because they 100% deserve the spotlight shown upon them. They're doing it right! read more

I have been seeing and reading the reviews that I HAD TO VISIT. So I went this morning thinking best selection and fresh bread. Well it didn't taste or smell like a bakery. They bread was just ok. I literally almost bought one thing of everything to taste it but that's what I get for being unfaithful to my other locally owned bakery (Carmen's Bakery) not to far from this one. Well at least I can say that I finally visited and bought bread from this joint but not happy. Also I felt she was entering what ever price since the prices are written on a board up front down low of the counter. Oh and she was starting to put ALL this bread in a tiny bag. Like really? Very good first time experience, we never tried this before but I was able to ask questions and we even got a free treat on the way out the door from a fresh tray of pastries being brought from the back! We ended up trying a bunch of the available treats and I'm excited to come back and try more, it was more than affordable. The young lady was very friendly and the food was all delicious! This is my favorite panaderia in town! The selection is always super diverse and every pastry is made with love you can tell. They also have great hours for when I'm feeling and early morning or late night snack. The owners are also very pleasant and sweet people, and are very helpful with answering any questions or letting you know what a particular item contains. Basically I'm obsessed with this place, the extremely reasonable prices are just another bonus of being a patron to this business! Literally grabbing a big bag of goods this morning to bring to the office to get on everyone's good side :) Run, don't walk! read more

So far the best sweet bread I've had in Az. They have the best conchitas, empanadas, and pan de hojaldra. The best hidden gem are the bolovanes, I say hidden because you have to ask for them since they do not have them up front. The bolillo stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeño gives the best option when eating with soup. Definitely I would recommend this place, if you are in the area you must try it! read more

I had reviewed the menu online and in the extras it does not include oat milk, which is why I assumed it came with it. My coffee ultimately came out to $9.16. What a joke. I will definitely not be coming back here for anything besides ice cream from here on out and even that is a hard maybe. I wish more places had pricing integrity- their website doesn't reflect it and neither did the barista. *edit to add the coffee is extremely sweet and milky, tastes more like sweet milk than a latte :(
