We headed to this place after reading all the reviews. We waited about 15 minutes to get seated. Service was ok, we got our coffee and placced our order. I started to notice that everyone who was seated around the tiME we got there was getting their food, we continued to wait patiently (about 45minutes) and no food and people that were seated after us were eating!!! We called the manager over (oriental guy) Informed him That we'd been waiting too long... he waS rude and said our food was on its way, waited more and no food... we eventually left extremely DISAPPOINTED, no customer service whatsoever and they gave us ouR bill for coffee? Went here on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy! It's in downtown rosarito so it's close to all the fun places. We were a group of about 12 so there was a wait. The service was outstanding! We had a waitress and waiter Helping us. This place has some of the BEST chilaquiles I've ever had. I ordered half red and half green. Came with chicken and beans. (Black beans) not a huge fan of black beans. But the plate is soooo huge ! My sister and I both ordered the same thing we could have just shared if we knew it was that big. I can't say I was over the moon for this place but I can't find it in my heart to give it three stars. In all fairness I didn't have the pancakes. The best thing about the place was I let my little doggie in and gave him water. The prices were also cheap. $10 for chilaquiles and a fresh oj. No concentrate. They also take credit card which is a plus but it's by no means of quality like the Ihop. Which by the way I cant believed I used the IHOP as a measuring point. read more

While we were tempted by pancakes, my friend and I both felt it was a must to try the regional specially "chilaquiles," which is a bed of homemade tostada squares tossed with lettuce tomatoes and cheese and then topped with slices avocado and your choice of egg or chicken. My friend got chicken, and it was super tender and perfectly sauteed! I got eggs--scrambled works best with this dish, in my opinion. Yum!!! I also recommend dumping the side of beans that comes with the meal alllllll over the top of it. Mm-mmm!
