Was just there for Memorial Day weekend. We went in for breakfast. The places was packed. I order the pozole with all the fixins' and it was delicious. Not fatty broth at all. Friendly service and great with their recommendations. We brought in our own bottled water and they were cool with that also. My husband and I found this place while in Rosarito for the weekend. It had great Yelp reviews so I figured we didn't have much to lose. This place is located right in the heart of Rosarito. They have reserved parking for customers only (about 3-4 spots). We were immediately greeted upon parking. As we walked in my husband spotted the fried ribs and immediately got excited, lol. We went for breakfast so I ordered French toast with fruit and a cafe de olla. My husband ordered a Chile relleno plate, which also comes with rice, beans and your choice of flour or corn tortillas. Of course he added 2 of the fried ribs to his plate. When our food arrived and I saw his plate, I instantly regretted ordering a regular breakfast. His plate looked delicious!! My French toast was good! They do use thin bread instead of the thick slices I'm used to, but it had good flavor and the fruit was delicious. Since I planned on writing a Yelp, it was only fair that I try all his food as well ;) So I can officially say all the food was yummy! read more

I really liked this place and wish I had taken a picture of the homemade flour and corn tortillas before I ate them all :) the chicken pozole was not my favorite but they had ran out of pork pozole so I was kind of expecting it to lack a little flavor. It was very hot and they offered a lot of toppings so I was happy. I was able to try the chorizo con huevos plate and ordered fresh squeezed orange juice which were both delicious. The coffee was also really good and I tasted a banana, strawberry, and papaya shake that I highly recommend (they will customize the fruits for you). The prices were very cheap. I spent about $10 for my food coffee and orange juice! I will definitely be back whenever I'm in Rosarito again. read more

I really wasn't expecting to be that happy with this restaurant, but there was parking right out front, and it was next to the hidden bazaar of shops behind. My intent was to have some pozole to ease the misery of a bug that was taunting me, so my wife and I took a chance. The salsa: How do they even do this? It seems every place we go has unique but excellent salsas, and here was no different. The thicker chips were a joy to have with this wonderful condiment. I was already getting full before the pozole came. Pozole: Good, but a tad salty for my tastes. Chilaquiles: My wife ordered this, and was quite pleased. Almost always my go to breakfast if offered, this version was really excellent. I had a few bites and marveled at the balance of flavors, and found the beans to be great mixed in, but wonderful on their own. The pungent cotija drove it home and made me briefly forget my own mild misery. I ate the leftovers cold from the fridge the next day, and didn't even bother to nuke them. Cold, wonderful green chilaquiles. My only gripe would be I wished they were a bit more gentle with the heat frying those eggs. Inexpensive and flavorful food right in the heart of it all with excellent, friendly service. I will certainly be back. read more

This place is a little hole in the wall but let me tell you It did not disappoint. It was very small place, but all of the items are made fresh and right when you order them. Definitely try the fresh squeezed orange juice. It was so good. I ordered one taco of pork, fish, birria & shrimp. The pork & birria tacos were good but nothing special. I felt the meat were boiled or something & I prefer to have a lil char on my taco meat. I loved the shrimp & fish taco. They were definitely special :) They serve complimentary chips, salsa & pickled veggies (carrot, cabbage, jalapeños). I requested for their spicy salsa & it was awesome. Be aware it is pretty spicy but super delicious. Note (PSA) : Do yourself a favor; cross the street and have a freshly made margarita at Los Cantaros de Tequila. They are super delicious. Approx 200 pesos for a small drink & served in an unique earthen pot. You get to choose your tequila, and they make it with fresh lime, orange, and grapefruit. Stopped by for dinner with a group of 12 after a very long day in the sun, thank goodness they were so accommodating. We got 2 platters of carnitas that come with rice, beans and tortillas. We also got some guacamole and a platter of chicharron to share. In addition to the group meals, I ordered a plate of chilaquiles that came with beans and eggs, all delicious. What a wonderful place that we discovered at the end of last year when our family visited Rosarito. We initially went in for breakfast and it was so good. Our favorite here though are the tacos. We definitely favor the carnitas, birria, fish, and asada. Everything is so fresh and filling not to mention that the service is very fast. Good luck finding parking but do not worry about parking a little farther away because there are plenty of little shops to checkout on your walk and you may want to walk off the food after you get out of here. The place was busy, there was music outside and at the end a guy came in and began to sing. The prices were great and the portions were gigantic. We had carnitas tacos and I was only able to have 2 before I was full. We did take some to go and warmed up later on the day. The food was still delicious even when we reheated it. Keep in mind that to use their restroom you have to go up stairs. It might not be suitable for wheelchairs or strollers. There is a table outside so that may work. The service was great, again the pork had amazing flavor. The tortillas were fresh and the salsa and snacks they served while we waited were delish. My daughter had a milkshake and she loved it. Overall, you wanna visit this place when you are in Rosarito. The minus star is because the place was small and parking limited. read more

Highly recommended spot here in Rosarito! Breakfast is lit! We had the birria plate and steak chilaquiles. Best chilaquiles I've had so far! Tortillas are crispy, light and flavor is amazing! The steak (carne asada) had so much flavor. I opted for the red sauce and it gave the chilaquiles a subtle heat but the flavor was so good. Paired it with a Mexican coffee wow that was strong and delicious too! My date had the Birria plate and she devoured it quickly. Corn tortillas are soft not hard and rubbery. She rates their Birria a 3/4 out of 5. She still loves the Birria from Fernandez Brothers in Nestor. But this will be our go to spot for breakfast when in Rosarito! read more

My partner ordered Chilaquiles with egg and carnitas, and he asked for green salsa. I'm so glad we can share food because I couldn't decide between both dishes. Luckily, I was able to taste both and, imo, both deserve 5/5 stars! Our waitress was very attentive to our needs and quick in taking our orders. We had a good breakfast here. You can find a few tables outside or handful inside. We had pozole, carnitas plate and shrimp diablo. Everything was delicious. The guacamole was very fresh and was maybe $4 for a good sized serving. We really enjoyed the meal. The chips and salsa (complimentary) were really tasty. I ordered a frozen lime margarita and my bf got the Paloma. They were delicious.
