A bit of a wait for a large party of 10 to get seated and for food. But they were busy. The restaurant itself has 6 tables inside. The service is nice and they have menus in English. The chiliquiles were ok, wish it had more sauce on them. The eggs and chorizo was good. The handmade tortillas were awesome, hard to find like this in the states. We came here around 3pm on a Friday and there was one other couple there. We passed it when we first drove by, the owner mentioned the sign fell off with winds one day and that they just haven't replaced it since people seem to already know about it's location. We had no issue with parking and their indoor and outdoor seating areas are both really great. It's a family run business that has been around for about 11 years, iirc, they're from Michoacan so we were able to chat about that for a bit. The service was fantastic and the food was even better! Being excited about the food, we each ordered two entrees and one to-go to take back to my uncle who hadn't joined us for lunch. We all raved about their beans, and even having reheated the food, my uncle loved it. We had the cafe de olla, jamiaca, chicken enchiladas, two quesadillas one beef one just cheese, chicken mole, shrimp al ajo, the ranchero steak and flan... fresh homemade flan! Literally, they had just made the flan and it was EVERYTHING. Everything was made to order, tasted homemade, and we even asked if we could compliment the chef. She came out and was just as sweet as her uncle! They are closed on Sundays though, we learned that the hard way. We cannot wait to go back and try more food from their menu. I would 100000% recommend this business! If you're not using maps you'll miss this, but it's right off the main road before you reach rosarito. It's a mom and pop shop where they converted a home into a restaurant, and they have the family running it - everything from taking your order, to cooking, to serving is all done by the family. After spending the weekend in Valle de Guadalupe, and spending $$$$ on food and wine, we just wanted a simple, authentic Mexican meal. I'm so glad we found this spot on Yelp as it's exactly what we were looking for! We ordered the chorizo breakfast special and a portion of the chilaquiles rojos, both of them were absolutely delicious! Probably the best I've ever had! I came here for the first time with my friend in May and we were so impressed by the delicious food that I had to come back with my kids. This place is absolutely delicious. Yelp for some reason does not have the correct address though so I would use Google to get you here. If you don't look quick enough you will miss it. RUDE AS HELL STAFF!!! My 77 year old father went with a couple of friends from church and he accidentally left his wallet there. My 75 year old mother called the next morning to ask if my dad's wallet was there and owner said yes but he thought it was his tip because he claims the party of 3 did not leave a tip, which is a lie, in fact my dad is an over tipper, then he HUNG UP ON HER!!!!! So later that morning my father goes to pick up his wallet and says thank you and he can't wait to go back and have more food there to which the owner respond s and says for my dad not to come back, they don't need his business. The place and the food aren't worth the long wait. Requests for our preferred seating area were ignored even though they told us that if we waited longer, we could have that seating area, and we did. The appetizer aguachille was so spicy and hot even for us habanero lovers couldn't tolerate . The New York steak was very hard to chew, and the grilled vegetables were cold, and the fries were not cooked throughly, and if you want ketchup forget about it, they don't have any.
