Amazing environment very family oriented, family setting. Plants and cute vibes. Felt like you were at someone's house in the best way. Fresh squeezed oj, the best cafe de olla. Went for breakfast food was amazing.

A bit of a wait for a large party of 10 to get seated and for food. But they were busy. The restaurant itself has 6 tables inside. The service is nice and they have menus in English. The chiliquiles were ok, wish it had more sauce on them. The eggs and chorizo was good. The handmade tortillas were awesome, hard to find like this in the states. Usually don't get enchiladas but these beef enchiladas were tasty. Good portions. Can't really beat the prices. At about $6 bucks for a plate. They take Peso and Dollars

This place is amazing! All the food that I've had here is very authentic and fresh! The cafe de Hoya is a must. They only accept cash. I've gotten the chilaquiles, enchiladas, and chorizo con huevo and they were all so good. The people are very friendly too.

The place is really nice, cozy and homie. Service is great, not slow and checked on us a decent amount of times. He recommended eating inside rather than outside because of ants, which was nice of the server to mention. The FOOD! Omg best part! The home made coffee "cafe de la olla" is so bomb! We ordered the chilaquiles and it was the best we've ever had! We will definitely come here every time we're in the area! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for breakfast/brunch.

I would 100000% recommend this business! If you're not using maps you'll miss this, but it's right off the main road before you reach rosarito. It's a mom and pop shop where they converted a home into a restaurant, and they have the family running it - everything from taking your order, to cooking, to serving is all done by the family. After spending the weekend in Valle de Guadalupe, and spending $$$$ on food and wine, we just wanted a simple, authentic Mexican meal. I'm so glad we found this spot on Yelp as it's exactly what we were looking for! We ordered the chorizo breakfast special and a portion of the chilaquiles rojos, both of them were absolutely delicious! Probably the best I've ever had! We also ordered orange juice to go with the meal and it was freshly squeezed! This is definitely not fast food, we spent about an hour here, but the food was so satisfying, it was worth it!

Great service, food, and hidden gem! Felt very comfortable somewhat eating at someone's home type of feeling. Tortillas hecho a mano were my favorite. This has instantly become my new favorite breakfast spot to visit in the future! Highly recommend

    Cafe de Olla!

Very nice place,, easy parking and on the road. Service was fast and very attempting,,, Food was excellent,,, chilaquiles with eggs, no spicy,,,,gringo style. Definitely will come back . The cafe de olla was delicious too

If you are looking for home made Mexican food? This place is a hidden gem!! Family owned and operated. Be patient in getting your food it's well worth your time. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

This is my second time here and these are the chilaquiles con huevos. I came here for the first time with my friend in May and we were so impressed by the delicious food that I had to come back with my kids. This place is absolutely delicious. Yelp for some reason does not have the correct address though so I would use Google to get you here. If you don't look quick enough you will miss it. BTW, even though the food is ridiculously amazing, the star of the show is the cafe de olla.

The Yellowfin tuna we had was swimming just a few hours prior. So good!!! They use locally sourced and only the highest quality and freshest ingredients. The staff is super friendly and fun - we spent 2 afternoons there and they were awesome! My two teen-aged daughters and my wife and I really enjoyed it. We waited by the Bar near the entrance for 25 minutes while all three waiters ignored us, made eye contact, checked their phone and took pics . Another Paton at the bar walked over to us and said they her grandchildren were sitting at a table which was empty except for a few sweatshirts so she removed them and said we could have the table, which was a very nice gesture that we appreciated. We continued to wait for another 10 minutes or so until we had enough with being ignored we left and went to another place and were seated and not ignored, a great meal by the way. My Brother in law was with me along with my son and my nephew. I had seen this place recommended by "The Boredom Report " ( JT my apologies but your guy here is out of line) many times and was excited to try this place as I always am when in Baja. Unfortunately, this place dropped the ball. My Brother in law left a review on yelp approximately 20 minutes or so after our visit and was sent a rather rude and racist message by someone named "Noel' stating that Mexico was in the World Cup and that they were playing in Mexico along with that we were I can't remember if it was Dumb or Dirty Americans so I'm going to go with Dumb for this one, "Dumb Americans" that need to educate ourselves on the Mexican culture and such. Well I'll say this, I too have been in Baja for over 40 years, Noel and never have I had any establishments in Baja ever ignore any customers until last night. If myself and my family didn't love, respect Mexico or its people and culture we would never go south of the border and be ignorant to anything having to with Mexico. But, since you are obviously more focused on Football instead of your business I would imagine that you might not last long with that mindset. Also Noel, please feel free to explain to me or anyone for that matter why you choose to run an American style Microbrewery and Sushi Restaurant and not a traditional restaurant in Baja? Could it be you're were attempting to attract a certain Dirty and or Dumb Americans? Also, please explain me and all that read this how to educate myself on "Mexican Culture'' when you're attempting to mimic two different cultures and yet have no idea on anything related to customer service. Please continue to Just throw out something racial and derogatory to cover up for you and your staffs shortcomings because racism has become a form of needing attention and not truly the issue at hand these days. Perhaps next time any "Dumb Americans" walk in to your place why don't you just refuse service, oh wait you do that by ignoring them and giving a racist rant on culture and education. instead of actually dealing with your staff/business issues. Now I've made some mistakes before with reviews and I generally give a place a few chances to rectify things as I know running a restaurant/business isn't easy and there are things that are out of people's control so I will update things when I return. As I believe this is the only true way of giving a honest and legitimate review. Perhaps next time you post a response you should also remember that there is an e-mail that is sent with your same response to the person that posted the review.Simply changing your response online doesn't change the initial email, and saying "you were busy" isn't an accurate description in this instance. Nice try. TO NOEL I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS PLACE AS LING AS I LIVE! I WILL MAKE IT MY MISSION TO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW THAT VISITS BAJA TO NEVER GIVE YOU ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO TREAT PEOPLE THE WAY YOU TREATED US. SIGNED: "THE DIRTY AMERICANS'

There's so much seating, so it feels open and relaxed even when it's busy. It's one of those places where you immediately want to grab your phone and take a few photos. I politely pointed it out to our server, Daniel, expecting it to be corrected. Instead, he casually dismissed it and said, "It's only 100 pesos more," which I found unprofessional and disrespectful. It's not about the amount it's about accuracy and customer service. Because of this interaction, I decided to remove the $20 tip I had initially left. When I did, he took the receipt to his manager and claimed that I hadn't tipped at all. I explained the situation, but he responded with a smirk, which felt mocking and made the situation even more uncomfortable. Additionally, the service overall was slow. We asked for water multiple times before ordering, during the meal, and even after finishing and it still took a long time for it to arrive. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, despite the setting. I hope management takes this kind of behavior seriously and works on improving both service quality and professionalism.
